Even though I only watch your videos when I’m getting a new phone or looking to change an accessory every couple of years, you’re my go to reviewer. You put in so much time and thought in your videos, I can’t overstate the value you bring when it comes to helping make a purchase decision in the vast market of phone accessories. All your work is immensely appreciated!
I just changed my iPhone to the 15 pro max, and I'm looking for a good leather case, although the Catalyst Influence looks amazing, I rather have two choices, so if you have any recommendation pls!!☺
I was one of the original users of Catalyst back in the day with my iPhone 4s, good to see they're still around. Used to use that case when I worked for my dad's landscaping business as a college student in between my other part-time job. Not exactly the prettiest cases, but pretty enough for something that is functional in protecting your phone from the elements.
I bought the Mous case, mostly based on this well-produced review. It's attractive, well-built, and highly protective. I will add, though, that the thickness and complete coverage of the beautiful titanium completely took away all the magic of holding the new phone in my hand. It want from sleek and cool to bulky and a bit "old stereo cabinet". I'll use it for a while and see how it lasts with mag safe contact, then someday I may drop to something clear and hopefully thinner.
Hey just so you guys know, Mous has a lot of options. you can get clear cases (they also have the best clear cases) and some of the thinnest cases I’ve ever used, even thinner than the apple cases. all that, I’ve found those thin cases end up protecting the phone much better then I would have thought it would. Mous has a lot of options depending on what you want out of it.
It was the Zagg Denali snap. I only got it because I heard it was good with MagSafe. Like the magnet is strong but mous was my second option. I usually come here to get the best case and screen protector possible. I ordered the flolab one just off his recommendation alone.
You do an amazing job putting these videos together. I like how quick you go to the point on these videos. With a busy schedule, I don’t have a lot of time to watch long abs slow videos. I have been ordering a few items from your links already. Please keep doing what you are doing.
When you make your Casetify video, please mention your thoughts on if the quality matches the price. Their cases are insanely expensive and don’t seem worth it.
Just received the Mous limitless 5.0 for iPhone 15 pro max. I have decided to return mine because of its sharp edges at the back of the case. It does not feel comfortable at all to hold in your hands. Although it is a rugged case and I definitely feel like it will protect your phone well, I prefer the comfortability when holding in hand more than any. Going back to my apple silicon case which feels amazing.
I’ve owned a Casetify Ultra MagSafe for a year or so and I could never recommend with its really weak magnets. I also think they’re a little expensive for what you get compared to many other cases. I really wish Aaron would test the MagSafe strength for each case and keep that on file it would be such a helpful thing.
I've had the casetify impact case and after about a year, the back of the case completely separated from the part of the case that surrounds the outline of the phone. it also looks like they reused the design from the previous generation's case because it makes no sense that there would be an open gap on the action BUTTON as if it's still a switch. gonna look into mous this year
So they must have upped the magnet strength then which is a good thing. The strongest magnets I’ve been able to test so far are the new iPhone 15 RhinoShield cases… they kind of set the standard.
This review for me definitely shows how personal cases can be, and the subjective nature of "perks". I've had a couple of Mous limitless cases now for various recent iphones and they've all either been replaced because the back material has worn through in a matter of weeks or months, or theyve ended up a drawer because they're so much bulkier around the phone so they feel massive in your pocket. I only found the rear material grippy, which made it awkward to pull out of jeans pockets, but the edges no more grippy than any other case.
@@brittneyb4721 Isn't that part of the problem, we've both had the backing worn through and they've had to replace them. I've had 3-4x as many Apple leather or Silicone cases and never had as much wear as the Mous cases show
My favorite case is the Spigen Tough Armor Magfit. I have been using this style case for over four years (of course without the magfit part before it existed) and I love it. It has a built in kickstand that folds in flush with the case. 10/10 would recommend.
I got the Torras Guardian case with the kick stand for my iPhone 15 Pro. I fiddle a lot so the kickstand will be a fiddler for me. And the kickstand is magnetic so you can stick it to metal surfaces. I do wish it was a little bit more translucent on the back, but I do like the frosted look and that it still shows your iPhone color through.
I found Mous because of this channel. Every single iPhone in my family has a Mous case. I've also converted all of my friends. 🤣 I wish you got commission. Easily sold 40+ cases over the years.

I’m still using my iPhone 6s Plus and made it a priority to get a case that can totally withstand MANY DROPS!! I got a MOUS case put on my phone after seeing the advertisements and I was convinced enough…$60 was an investment worthwhile!!! I recommend getting a MOUS case for your iPhone because of how Fragile an iPhone is…Plus, make sure you protect your screen as well!!

he usually does talk about prices so I agree it's kinda weird he didn't here, I guess it's because this video is probably more about the absolute best case no matter the price, and not a "best bang for buck" case video
Been using Mous cases for years now. Every new device gets one first. Just high quality, classy looks, and genuinely protective. The only part that sucks is that they ship from the UK and duties suck!
The best part about the Rhinoshield mod nx is when you use just the bumper with a MagSafe wallet. It sits down much lower than a wallet on top of a back plate. This also provides extra protection from the wallet getting knocked off by side hits. All the benefits of MagSafe wallet with zero bulk, yes please.
He always goes with Mous every year and I’ve owned two of them for different phones. Never used them for over a week for the same reason, the edges are always sharp in the corners when holding your phone.
I own several Mous cases. They’re very well designed and protective plus their customer service is top notch. My only complaint is that they’re a bit on the slippery side. My phone has slipped out of my hands several times and always slips off the center console of my car when driving.
I followed mous since their first Kickstarter. Unfortunately my two most recent cases iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 11 Pro Max fell apart at the sides and Mous stopped honouring their lifetime warranty by ignoring all my communications. So I had to give up on them. Currently use a cheap Spigot (?) TPU clear case with all my phones. Even dropped my 11PM off my bike handlebars at 20kph and it was totally fine.
Lamicall Magnetic Case for iPhone 15 Plus is the best case I’ve ever used. Great grip all the way around the entire case, frosted back, lovely matte finish, ridiculously strong MagSafe magnet on the back, firm with very little give at all, and perfect lip protection on the screen and camera. And it only cost me like £14. Amazing case.
Mous would indeed be a perfect case if it had a charge port cover. Or maybe I’m just being paranoid about dust and lint getting in there while in my pocket.
Great video as always. For me, I’ve been using Rebel for my SE2 since the beginning and love the feel of exposed side. As I am used to the actual iPhone width, having other case is added bulk to the phone so it’s gonna be harder to transition to. May be the exposed side might be beneficial to release heat from the phone when heats up. Idk how other cases do and maybe that’s just a little to no impact after all?
Love these videos. Just a note, I’ve been using Mous cases for a while and I did notice the walnut one gets much more scuffed from MagSafe accessories than the aramid fiber one you showed. Ordered the leather backed one this time.
The Mod NX definitely NEEDS to be thicker. My iPhone 12 Pro's back glass shattered even with the back plate and I blame it on Rhinoshield shrinking down its size. But to be fair though I drop my phone quite often and the Mod NX did protected it for two years.
I've noticed that the bumper rubber with the Mod NX tends to loosen and give after about a year on the phone, so that could have attributed. I file a warranty claim when it starts to get easy to separate the sides from the backplate. They've replaced it 3 times since I got it and the phone, no questions asked. Just charged shipping
Great video as always! Btw do you think you can go over sapphire screen protectors like the Benks ultraglass and Hoda? They are quite a bit cheaper than Shellrus so I’m interested to see if they’re as scratch resistant as Shellrus
Aquatic Biologist here whos iPhones get put through the ringer. I had a MOUS on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and after getting dropped into 500 rivers its always survived (with a screen protector). I'm ordering the 5.0 for my new 15 Pro Max. Thanks Aaron!
Yes!!! I got the mod nx ahead of time and it made the list! Yes, I have noticed the improvement in the finish, and it feels better in hand. Also love the customizability still being able to use a clear MagSafe back or just the bumper, as well as swap out the buttons! Still, my favorite MagSafe case of all of these because, you can see the full color of the phone! And it pairs absolutely amazingly with my Popwallet!
I just got a 15 Pro (Black Titanium) and the perfect case - Spigen Thin Fit. It’s the perfect amount of chunk and slimness. No extra branding. Perfect satin black finish. Check it you guys, you definitely won’t regret it!
Aeron thank you so much for your videos. Because of these review videos I finally upgraded to the iPhone 15 pro max from an iPhone 7 Plus. I originally got the mous clarity 2.0 case for my new iPhone but I feel like there isn’t much protection for the camera lens. I love my new color blue titanium and want to show it off but I changed my mind and purchased the mous limitless 5.0 for extra protection. In your video though they don’t make the castify ultra impact anymore for the iPhone 15 pro max. They only have the bounce and ultra bounce cases available for purchase. Thanks again for your videos and keep it up! I always trust your advice for my apple products and accessories!
Haha 😀 I’m making the exact same upgrade from 7 plus to 15 pro Max. Not sure how you survived the slowness and constant apps unloads from memory. It is really annoying 😂 congratulations with the upgrade! I hope you are enjoying it 😊
I love your style. It almost felt like you’re a friend just giving me advice with a great sense of humor and a lot excellent detailed information. 😂 Thank you for all the effort you put in to making these videos 🥰🙌👍
I got the casetify ultra bounce and it feels grippy and nice to hold with the protruding bumpers, and the thing feels like a tank. Really good build quality.
My casetify ultra bounce does not feel nice in the hand the edges are like sandpaper the case is huge and does not feel good in the hand at all. The edges are not a nice smooth tpu. They really dropped the ball on this $130 case
Im a bit amazed that you have Phone Rebel in your lineup since I don’t see anyone else talking about them. Ive been using the carbon fiber Flex from rebel and its amazing! I call it a naked case since the sides are exposed so you still feel the sides of the phone and its so minimal you forget it has a case mostly. I dropped my phone on concrete a few times and my phone is still flawless. I’ll definitely be getting another one for my 15 Pro max when they come out soon. If i end up not able to sell my case maybe I’ll send it to you to check out.
I love casetify cases and I’m definitely looking forward to all the new designs they have I’m leaning towards the ultra bounce I think it’s the coolest case I have ever seen I know the corners look huge but what other cases look like them none it’s different and I like different can’t wait to see the video. Always appreciate your best cases videos have been watching them since iPhone 5. 🙏🏻
@@cynthianees8225 perhaps but I was unhappy with one case I bought and they sent me out a new replacement so can’t fault them for doing that for me. But if you prefer Otterbox and loopy then stick with them. To each their own
I used both a Speck and a Mod NX for my iPhone XR. Both were good, but the Mod NX with the backplate added showed a lot of dust/debris getting into the cutout for the camera. I currently use an iPhone 13 with Apple's now-discontinued leather case.
Bought the Mous after watching this review (thank you) and the company’s videos. I have to say, it is an amazing case and exactly what I was looking for. I got the Apple FineWoven with my phone and liked it but after 5 days decided it didn’t offer enough protection. This Mous case is far better.
Honestly, Casetify does offer the strongest case in terms of dropping and protection. However they just wear down so quickly! Especially their edge, I’ve bought it last year and the edge of my case just fall off without doing any damage to the case. And this is a well known problem in the community already. It’s good to have them made it with environment friendly materials, but they just don’t last, and I’m not spend that hella money on a case that cost over 50 or even near to a hundred dollars that won’t even last a year.
Sadly I went through two Mous Limitless 5.0 cases in 11 months - the TPU around the volume buttons ended up warping and sagging. I hope that their iPhone 15 design fixes that, but being a problem that I’ve also read about on Reddit I think people should be aware of it
@@ALE_POS I guess it's not something that happens 100% of the time, and factors like ambient temperature and phone heat could increase the chances of it happening. It is still something that is useful to be aware of (for example, Amazon could give better buyer protection than Mous website, which only replaces the case once if faulty)
👍Aaron, like always the best reviews, thx for your insane work! Hope, the Mous Limitless 5.0 for the 15 pro max fits better than the 14 pro max case, for the first time with a Mous case I was somewhat disappointed, as the corners are so loose, that the case comes of the upper corners by just grabbing the phone at the upper corner, also, where the volume keys are, the TPU part is so loose, that it has a gap of about 2 mm to the phone. Very disappointing
More clickbait. Maybe he's used over 200 iPhone cases over the last 15 years, but not 200 iPhone 15 cases. Can anyone even name 200 iPhone 15 cases that are even available at launch? Even if there were that many cases what kind of review could someone have done on them at this point? It's just dishonest
There should be a menu on the left side that you can check off there different styles I think I always found it on the left side it’s kind of like filters I think. Try going to the site maybe on your computer might be more noticeable hopefully that helps
You are right just noticed the ultra impact is gone wow I didn’t notice that the last time I checked too bad I always liked the ultra impact oh well I plan on get an ultra bounce so doesn’t bother me
Ive been watchin this channel for years and through multiple accounts. This is the best place to get the best case reviews and i pretty much always end up at his top pick. PLUS hes jacked and that is major pro not to be taken lightly.
I love how quick and to the point you are. Where do the dbrand cases fall in this ranking? I think they updated their grip case and the ghost case is a new one.
The problem I’ve had with the MOUS cases for the 14 series has been around the volume buttons. The material has stretched out to the point that I could fit the tip of a lightning cable between the case and the phone itself.
Great case review! Just to clarify, however, that the @catalystcases Influence case actually still has a rotating mute switch for the non Pro model devices, because those still have the physical mute switch. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max however replaced the mute switch with a programmable Action Button, so the rotating dial no longer makes sense on the cases for the new Pro model phones.
surprised the ol’ gripmunk from smartish isn’t on here. they’re pleasantly thin and i haven’t gotten a screen chip or phone scratch in the 5 ish years i’ve been using them. also they only cost $20 soooooo
This man’s has got a personal vendetta against phone rebel. I’ve been using my phone rebel case for my iPhone 14 pro max and don’t have any ring from MagSafe (which I use everyday). Not to mention, I have the flex series and it has protected my phone in every drop. Also, let’s not forget that Phone Rebels pricing is so much better than all the “mainstream” cases.
I did an extensive review with my purchase of my 13 PM… the best value was probably a Spigen Tough Armor which I had on my previous iPhone (XS). But I decided to spend a bit more for some better materials. Mous Carbon Fibre was intriguing but some reviewers liked the Caudabe Sheath and Pitaka Aramid Fibre better. Not as bulky and a lot of people are moving to minimalist designs. You just never have to take the case off. I went with a Pitaka MagEZ because of the new designs and the strength of the MagSafe. I will do the same with 15 PM… it’s bulletproof and there’s literally no wear or damage 2 years later despite multiple drops and daily use. I’m not sure why it is not included in this review but I would buy it over anything.
Yes agree completely they have new improvements for their cases which I would like to see. A video showing the differences between gen 5 clear frosted and arimid fibre
Is there a high quality iPhone 15 Pro Max case with a wallet style cover? I don't care about the MagSafe back wallet attachment, I want something that folds over to cover the screen. I have found some cheap ones from Tuch or Smartish but want a high quality one. Otterbox has not yet made a wallet style case with a cover.
I just got the TORRAS Slim Fit Magnetic Stand for iPhone 15 Pro Case, [Compatible with MagSafe] [Camera Ring Kickstand], Ultra Slim Thin Anti-Fingerprint Matte Cover for iPhone 15 Pro…. It adds very little bulk and is probably the best value in iphone cases you will find anywhere… I got this one on Amazon for just 28.00 and it arrived with free same day shipping via Amazon… Hard to beat this case!!!
I’ve been using a Grip on my iPhone 11 for a long while now, pretty tempted to pick up their ghost case. Was hoping it would be on this list. Haven’t seen any reviews of it at all. :(
I been using I Blason cases for a few years for my iPhone 12,13,14,15 pro maxes. I have dropped my phone numerous times no problems.i have also used supcase ( same company) for my Samsung fold 5. Heavy duty build. These cases come with a front plastic screen cover for the front. I am very happy with these cases.

Love love love your dog!! He/she is so sweet and modest. Does he/she like sitting there?
Great video as always! Btw do you think you can go over sapphire screen protectors like the Benks ultraglass and Hoda? They are quite a bit cheaper than Shellrus so I’m interested to see if they’re as scratch resistant as Shellrus
I would like to see that too
Aquatic Biologist here whos iPhones get put through the ringer. I had a MOUS on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and after getting dropped into 500 rivers its always survived (with a screen protector). I'm ordering the 5.0 for my new 15 Pro Max. Thanks Aaron!
what screen protector?
best tech reviewer 10/10
Been getting Mous since the iPhone X. Just can't go wrong with their stuff. Thanks for the vid!
I bought the Caudabe Sheath case because of your recommendation, because I want a thin case for my 15 pro max. Great video, keep going!
I’m not a dog person, but this dog I would trade my cat in for with that tie and collar. Love that little guy 🤙🏾
I’m sorry but Casetify’s cases would look so much better without those stupid white letters. It’s just so obnoxious to the eyes.
I love Monty. He looks at you with so much love ❤😊
I got the casetify ultra bounce and it feels grippy and nice to hold with the protruding bumpers, and the thing feels like a tank. Really good build quality.
My ultra bounce feels like sand paper the edges don’t feel nice but I’m hoping they get softer with use
My casetify ultra bounce does not feel nice in the hand the edges are like sandpaper the case is huge and does not feel good in the hand at all. The edges are not a nice smooth tpu. They really dropped the ball on this $130 case
Do you have a video of only leather cases for the 15 pro?
what's your forearm workout my man? do a video on that lol
But their warranty is straight crap. Otterbox and loopy have the best warranty
@@cynthianees8225 perhaps but I was unhappy with one case I bought and they sent me out a new replacement so can’t fault them for doing that for me. But if you prefer Otterbox and loopy then stick with them. To each their own
@@cynthianees8225arron used to love loopy cases too and now they never get a mention
Do you know if this makes the camera module or LIDAR sensor worse?
I wanted to cover the camera on the 15 and the Junotone is amazing. Fits like a glove
I have never had a casetify case breakdown never they have excellent quality of cases.
Hi, I hope you can make the drop test video for the Cases you have recommended! All my love to you and Monty
Sadly I went through two Mous Limitless 5.0 cases in 11 months - the TPU around the volume buttons ended up warping and sagging. I hope that their iPhone 15 design fixes that, but being a problem that I’ve also read about on Reddit I think people should be aware of it
La mia 5.0 in noce non mostra alcun problema di cedevolezza attorno ai pulsanti.
The phone rebel gen 5 for the iPhone 15 has not come out yet.
Those cases are for the 14 pros.
È difettosa la tua cover del 14 pro max. Ti garantisco che non sono allentati. Avresti dovuto chiedere il reso.
Would love to see actual measurements of the magnetic strength and how well (how fast) the case supports wireless charging.
@4:59 when he dropped the phone Monty looked like what tha!? That phone isn’t cheap!! 😂😂
Is it just me? But I can’t find the ultra impact case for the iPhone 15 pro max anywhere on the casetify site? It’s all bounce case.
There should be a menu on the left side that you can check off there different styles I think I always found it on the left side it’s kind of like filters I think. Try going to the site maybe on your computer might be more noticeable hopefully that helps
I think they discontinued it and replaced it with the bouce lineup would be my guess
@@Paa375 ok will try that. Thanks.
@@brndncho ah that’s too bad. Thanks for the reply.
You are right just noticed the ultra impact is gone wow I didn’t notice that the last time I checked too bad I always liked the ultra impact oh well I plan on get an ultra bounce so doesn’t bother me
It’s likely that adding the chapters don’t help with this type of review, but I’m so grateful!
Ive been watchin this channel for years and through multiple accounts. This is the best place to get the best case reviews and i pretty much always end up at his top pick. PLUS hes jacked and that is major pro not to be taken lightly.
Have my mous case for my Iphone 12 for almost 3 years, did fall several times and never had a break or something...
I’ve been using Smartish cases ever since the iPhone 12 came out and they’re great! Surprised I’ve never seen them here
I love how quick and to the point you are.
Where do the dbrand cases fall in this ranking? I think they updated their grip case and the ghost case is a new one.
Mous carbon fibre is my go to case. Jacked forearms bro i see u
The problem I’ve had with the MOUS cases for the 14 series has been around the volume buttons. The material has stretched out to the point that I could fit the tip of a lightning cable between the case and the phone itself.
Same here.. my volume buttons fell out and ended up having to superglue it to fix it
Why would you. You have warranties for that.
I been rocking the mous cases for years… best cases I’ve ever used
surprised the ol’ gripmunk from smartish isn’t on here. they’re pleasantly thin and i haven’t gotten a screen chip or phone scratch in the 5 ish years i’ve been using them. also they only cost $20 soooooo
Where do you find the ultra impact for the 15 pro max? Cant find it. Is this an error?
Finally longer videos :)
Your the best case reviewer that can always be trusted when looking for the best case for iPhone.
I am not paying much attention to the display of phone cases ,my focus is the dog with a tie 😂 so cute 🥰
Just wanted to say I got the mous case yesterday based off your previous review and love it! thanks
Update?
Nice video! Great to see the Caudabe Sheath. My go to case for years now.
I would really love to see a dedicated review for the new PhoneRebel cases! Please consider doing that in the future 😃
Yes agree completely they have new improvements for their cases which I would like to see. A video showing the differences between gen 5 clear frosted and arimid fibre
People like you and ProjectFarm are great. The consumer reporting John Stossels of our time.
I don’t even see the ultra impact available for iPhone 15. How can it be number 2. I only see the impact on their site
I’m really interested in the d brand case. It looks like a solid choice for an iPhone case that most people don’t know about.
I’ve been using a Grip on my iPhone 11 for a long while now, pretty tempted to pick up their ghost case. Was hoping it would be on this list. Haven’t seen any reviews of it at all. :(
Where does Otterbox’s Defender XT with MagSafe fit?
I been using I Blason cases for a few years for my iPhone 12,13,14,15 pro maxes. I have dropped my phone numerous times no problems.i have also used supcase ( same company) for my Samsung fold 5. Heavy duty build. These cases come with a front plastic screen cover for the front. I am very happy with these cases.
How strong are the magnets on the mous case?
