Moringa powder is made from the dried leaves of the moringa plant and is a rich source of nutrients. Some potential benefits of consuming moringa powder include:
High in antioxidants: Moringa powder is high in antioxidants, which can help to protect cells in the body from damage caused by free radicals.
May have anti-inflammatory effects: Moringa powder has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects, which may be beneficial in reducing inflammation in the body.
May lower blood sugar levels: Some studies have suggested that moringa powder may help to lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity, which may be beneficial for people with diabetes.
May have anti-tumor effects: Some research has suggested that moringa powder may have anti-tumor effects, although more research is needed to confirm this.
May improve skin health: Moringa powder is high in vitamin C, which is important for the production of collagen, a protein that helps to keep skin healthy and youthful.
May improve brain function: Moringa powder is high in a type of flavonoid called quercetin, which has been shown to improve brain function and memory.
It's important to note that more research is needed to fully understand the potential health benefits of moringa powder. As with any supplement, it's always a good idea to speak with a healthcare professional before adding it to your diet.

Yes
In Malaysia we called “pokok Kelor”, this traditional food and medicine for old generation but nowadays so many super traditional foods are forgotten, young generations only love to eat modern food and processed foods
Pokok kelor. That sounds so cute. How do you guys eat ? I love Malaysian cuisine. Super curious.
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA We make it tea like you do and we make it Ulam-Ulaman, you can read on google about ulam- ulaman if you haven’t heard about it bcause i dont know how to explain for detail 😅 but yeah the traditional way we eat ulam-ulaman
so happy to know about pokok kelor, in India /Bharat we have been using moringa in our everyday life. It's in our ayurvedic practice.
@@exclusivelyforyou yes it like Multivitamin
I'm also from Malaysia. In my hometown (Terengganu),we call it 'pokok mungga'. I like to put it in my eggs (only the shoot- new leaves) . Eggs + salt , chilli powder / fresh chili (chopped )+ chopped shallot + mungga leaves ( stir all until combined) -> cook like omelette. Very delicious
Can moringa leaves & flowers dried together & made powder ? Is it good to do so?
Please enlighten me!
I never tried drying flower, simply because i rather enjoy eating the soft and tender pods. So I keep flowers for pods. I would love to try sometimes next season!
Thank you
Very helpful, thank you
Thanks for washing the leaves prior to drying them!
Yes… it might have some bugs and dust…
Yeah, i miss eating the soft and tender pods too haha

When using moringa powder, how do you make herbal tea? Do I have to let the powder infuse with hot water for 10 minutes?
yes, here is how I steam my tea. simple.

Good work 👍
Very nice
Dr. Sebi Said it has lots of iron, good for the body. Actually it has more iron than Spinach
This moringa and molokhiya are two favorites in northern Philippines for longevity!
Same here! We are harvesting molokhia like crazy now!
What is the best mesh size to powder moringa dry leaves as a supplement (the highest amount of nutrients) and for filling capsules?
Please answer my question, it is very important for me.
The size of strainer mesh? Hmmmm i wish i know. Maybe 1mm? Please understand this is a family hobby, and we don’t do this for professional sale. And I don’t;t capsules, i just use as powder.
For a normal person half spoon
If you are taking for medicinal reason then 1 to 2 spoon of powder
Nice ❤
Awesome !!
Is that distilled vinegar?
What is it? They don’t describe what they are doing.
@@jamieperkins119 It's moringa branches. They put them in water, added a little distilled vinegar to kill parasites, let it dry and then crushed it.
Yep, it would be great if they had at least put it in the description :).
Yes distilled vinegar, to kill bugs and such.
❤❤❤❤
Hello, what part of the tree to harvest the leaves? Also, why do you pour a bottle onto the leaves instead of using the sink?
I harvest any leaves, as long as they look healthy and clean. I pour the bottle of vinegar into a bowl of water so it cleans the leaves and get rid of any bugs if there are any. Vinegar makes any small bugs float so I use it for any veggies that won’t be cooked.
Espero ke ayude la moringa para aprender a cortar las hojas 🍃
is it can eat as a tea
I like it on soups. 😊
Me too!
I eat morniga dried leaves instead of powder because it's nutrition and as a jaw excercise because little hard to chew my question is can moringa leaves stored in fridge for 15-20 days openly or in something Thanks 🙏
I tried keeping raw mornings in fridge but i rather cook right away. I also don’t’ keep dried ones in fridge since it gets moisture. Hope i answered your question.
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA yeah you answered thanks 🙏
What are the uses of this powder. Plzz do reply
Make tea.... its good for Diabetes
We make a clear sup moringa, boil with garlic, red onion, salt and a few drops of sesame oil.
Sounds great!
Love growing foods and meds.
I agreee ❤️❤️❤️
How to dry it?
@@novitaratnasari3807😂😂 just keep it in the sun
Hy i gotta ask , like in drying process will it make the leaves less nutritional ?
Definitely takes some nutrition away in drying process, but still better than not consuming at all. The store bought moringa powdered probaby have better way they preserved professionally, I believe. But we have way too much moringa leaves, so we try every year.
If the leaves are not dry enough after 5 days in a shelterd area, can i extend the drying up to 1 week?...will it affect to its nutrients if you dry it longer?
I’m not sure how longer drying time will affect nutrition, but up to 1 - 2 weeks should be fine ! Just make sure it doesn’t get mold in the process. Enjoy
Wot is dat liquid insyd dat bottle u use to wash it
Everyday i boil moringa and drink i feelhealhty🎉
🙌
Super nutritious
Yes!!!
Ye kha se milega...
Does your powder turn brown after a few months? I made some capsules 2 months ago and the powder turned brownish…. Have you experienced that?
Really? No I never had the experience. But it might be because I live in super dry weather, and I dry them naturally till it’s fully dry. Do you use dehydrator?
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA I don’t use a dehydrator :/ I think it’s because I kept it in a bottle and didn’t use an oxidizing pack….
What's the name of the liquid you used to wash the Moringa?
Clean Water🙃
@@souvikmitra8
Thanks for answering
Alkohol😊
Do we need to expose them to sunlight or not?
For drying process ? You can dry it in the shade. But if you live in a humid area, sun exposure might be better …
Very good leaf
what is the benifit?
Moringa is like centrum,,, complete from A to Zinc
Check google
we don't have to remove moringa tree in the plants 😥
Great job
Now I'm in Melbourne n just a few days I visited the Victoria market n found out a kg of moringa leaves costs aud48.99.
In philippines we call it malunggay
I used to live in karratha western Australia
Wowww n I can't believe how expensive it is😮
I have planted so many of this amazing tree
Its easy to growing
It can grow or strike to shoot from cutting but a good mature branch or from matured dry seed called drumstick
They're so delicious with chicken ginger soup (the leaves ) my fav..❤
I’m sure you can grow in Melbourne too, glad you found some. If you like fresh mornings, it’s sooo good!
Does it help to grow up and increase hight..?
I wish i know the answer…
Why not take the leafs and leave the branch for the next season ??
More branches you cut, more will be produced next year. It grows agressive in a right condition.
Did you wash with vinegar?
No need
I wash with vinegar, but it’s only optional
😊nice😊🌿🌿🌿👍🏻
Thank you !
Hi 😊 how long shelf life of dried moringa?
I don’t add any preservatives, but since we live in Arizona ( dry) I would say 1 year. If humid, it shelf life might be shorter.
Beautiful,How do you cook this?
I add to soup, make tempura, or drink as tea, but my kids’ love Tempura the best.
Please what did you use to wash the leaves, hydrogen peroxide or vinegar?
Vinegar !
How to dry the leafs
Don't dry moringa leaf under direct sunlight, that is what I used to do😊
Malongai or marongai leaves
I just started growing moringa from seed about 6 months ago. My tree is now about 7 feet tall and skinny. I’ve been loving the leaves but after harvesting, they only grow further up the trunk. How do I get my moringa tree bushy? I have a small porch and I’m growing it in a pot about 18” in diameter. I live in growing zone 10a if it’s any use.
I had same problems. Check my short here, if your moringa looks like this, it might be due to planting on container.
ua-cam.com/users/shortsgoLYYot9wto?si=ialDbOEM7uc8_sFW
The problem of planting in a container is that root of the moringa is so unique that it has to simply grow deep. And moringa root does not brunch out, meaning it wants to dig down. By placing in pot, the trunk and branches can’t grow the way it’s supposed to do.
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA wow, I had no idea. Thank you so much for sharing!! I don’t have an option to plant in the ground now. I really love having the moringa tree though. Is there any way to salvage what I have and get it to still produce? (It is still producing, but just one long trunk about 7’ tall…. I’ve eaten most of the leaves up to the 5’ mark already. I’m afraid it will hit the roof of my porch in just another month or so since we live in such a tropical area.)
@@crystallaine28 cut the trunk, soak in water for a week and plant it. I grew mine from two trunk cuttings, after soak, i stand it on the soil till the roots come out, then i plant it.
Cut the trunk, and it will grow many branches.
Tree kaha milega
What kind of taste of fresh leaves , can anybody tell?
Bit tangy, and sour if raw. Fried or dried it looses tanginess flavor
I need a moringa tree
If I make 100g powder everyday, Can Tree survive ? I mean can it produce enough leaves for daily
Moringa will grow vigorously in one year. I harvest twice a year, and let it grow in between. If your tree gets mature, it will produce to a point where you can’t catch up harvesting ! My tree in this video is only couple year old but I know people have 10 year old tree that produce tons
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA Thanks for the info
Wow
👍☺️
Im an asian.. just my opinion, i know if you pick moringa better consume it fresh and never to powder it.. just pick it and boil it immediately we can receive the complete benefits from a cup of tea..
I so agree! Fresh one is better. We produce way too much, so this is the way to at least save some…
Very good 👍
Which water u have been added please say please please please 🙏🙏🙏
You use plain clean water. Wash it twice or thrice if it has some dust
Regular tap water is fine, i just added vinegar for extra leaning. It;s only optional
Nice video
How to consume moringa powder

It's help in fat loss
Thanks for shearing ! 💪💪
Mam moringa seed kha se le
Best quality ka

Please what's the content of the bottle?
Powdered moringa leaves
Vinegar. I rinse them off with water after washing with vinegar
❤😊
It's of this rap the moringa leaves with news paper all leave it for 24 hours leaves will shed from sticks easily later you can wash and dry and make power
I have never done that, since wrapping leaves with news paper might cause mold to grow. But if you are in dry climate, why not? Let me know how it goes.
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA never use that newspaper because print ink very poisons so plain paper like Brown paper it's better idea i do the same method after 24 hours the leaves spread well 👍
I have that tree at my home
Great!
Sometimes there are warm under the leaves
Haven’t seen one, but i will be careful!
Tree of Life
Tree name of powder ????
Moringa or drumstick tree
Its drumsticks leaves?
Yes
In india we get it for free or we can buy it from shop for 40 cents
Wow good price! Here in USA it’s pretty expensive or we have to grow at home!
if any requirement for moringa product please let me know from india
Sundry?
Yes sun dried! Dehydrator would be nice too
@@MYDREAMGREENVILLA what are the uses and benefits
Hoy did ir dry?
We let it dry outside naturally, but dehydrated is better option.
nice
Thanks
It is not moringa leaf. But murungai leaf is correct.
Thank you! In What language ?
How do you get the seeds to generate
First seed, I bought on Amazon. This tree I harvested, is from that batch. They did great. Then my friends gave me more seeds, and I’m trying to grow seedlings. Try looking into local seed swap! You might find it there.
does it benefit for milk supply?
I read online that Moringa increase milk supply, in only within 24 hours of ingesting. I have never tried when I was nursing. Wish I knew it!
Sure it's high produce of milk.
❤😂🎉😊
Dry in shadow or sun??
Shadow !
😂 instead of cutting whole branch, you can take good quantity leaves from all tye branches in equal proportions without affecting plant that much.
Do you sell plants?
I wish!
