Something desperately needs to be done about the footage quality for future broadcasts. Not only is it blurry, but the constant freezing made this extremely frustrating to watch. Running is a thing now...it's so good to see crowds "10 to 15 deep" and described as "large as football games". This is inspiring for those wanting to run or coach XC. Getting kids into this sport is a challenge but things like this race, all the good XC movies (Overcomer, Patriots Day, Brittany Runs A Marathon, McFarland USA, Pre, etc.), and marathon coverage is a start...

Hard to believe this many kids broke 15min for 5K honestly.
Course is either short or downhill a lot
Look at times from regular season meets to this one you’ll see a big drop for a lot of runners. I get it’s a championship race but literally you’re telling me the top 70 runners could pretty much win Footlocker nationals. Uhhh no
129 girls ran sub 18min / The girl who place 102 in this race could have made it to Footlocker nationals in the West and Northeast Region, placed 15th in the Midwest and 22nd in the South. THE 102ND PLACE GIRL!!!!!!!!!! Here is just a handful of girls I did research on ------ Emily Lamontagne - Season average 17:53 and ran 16:53 here / Keeghan Edwards - Season average 17:53 and ran 16:58 here / Sydney Sundgren - Season average 17:32 and ran 16:59 here / Kayla Werner - Season average 18:44 and ran 17:24 here. SHORT OR DOWNHILL! Some people have the race of a life time but when the entire field damn near PR's well below what they normally run, come on

He wins every race this season lollll So it’s not like he can’t finish fast or whatever. I think he still needs put in some work. To finish with the other teammates

Scary to think that the rest of the field only beat Newbury Park 26 to 29 if you used all other athletes vs their team. No way you'd know the correct 7 other runners to have chosen ahead of the race either so likely Newbury Park would have beat the All-Star team straight up.

Incredible race for sure. However, the 2 mile split of 9:41 and the finishing time do not make sense. To run a 14:04 5K, they would have run a 4:00 minute last mile or slightly faster. If that is actually true, then that is absolutely insane.
