I love these adverts, but they sold a lie to the masses. i.e. you could buy exotic sophistcation in a cheap bottle of wine. Wealthy people do not drink this stuff. I never have and I'm broke. Was going to try a bottle this xmas, but just didn't get around to it.
I feel a bit sorry for campari and cinzano! Both had brilliant classic adverts in the late 70’s/early 80’s, but the only one that makes you want to drink the stuff is the martini ads!!!!
It depends on how old you are , what part of the world you live in and of course income. Do what I have done , make a list of things you want to do and set aside the money and the time . I have flown a plane , a jet boat tour in the rapids of Niagara , a helicopter over Niagara , skiing in Lake Placid and Switzerland and so many other things .
Such great commercials unlike the underwhelming ones off today! That’s how to make commercials that told you something about the product. Now a days you watch a commercial and at the end you can’t tell what is being advertised !

Never in the history of the world was there a more fantastic ad than Martini’s skating girl. History being made there.
These were great ads, what a glamorous time it was in the 70's unlike now.

When I was a kid, I thought, due to these ads, that Martini must have been very expensive!! WHO KNEW!! LOL

It is out there but you just can't find Martini anywhere now. I loved Martini Rosso aged 14 swiping it from my parents drinks cabbinette.
