I love Zampieri from the first opera she gave in Lisbon D. Carlos, Portuguese fans were crazy about her... she gave many opera roles...La Scala no i don,t no why... Thank you for sharing, Greatings from Portugal.

What a great joy with this uploading of yours! Thank you. I had absolutely no idea Peter Dvorsky sang Pollione. I also should like very much to listen to him within a complete performance La Fanciulla del West. I couldn't find it so far. He portrayed Dick Johnson at Covent Garden in 1985, if I'm not mistaken.

I always wondered how long that Siepi sang in public. I had thought around 1988. I guess he retired officially around that time so imagine my surprise to have heard about this 1994 performance & to have now found it on UA-cam. Although the recording quality leaves something to be desired it is still worth hearing Siepi at this age (anywhere between 71 & 75 as some reports go) sounding pretty much in superior form. Thanks for the posting & now I will search for that last Siepi Parma recital whenever that was. Mr. Mohamed: Any chance you might download Siepi’s last concert in Parma onto You tube? It would be greatly appreciated.

La Zampieri piace o non piace, ha una voce particolarissima che non si adatta a tutti i ruoli probabilmente. Sicuramente dal vivo rapiva il pubblico ed era una grande attrice
