I just picked up a 24 FE 501s about a month ago. I have already added the GET ECU with end cap, that really woke it up. I just ordered new tires because the stocks are dangerous on dirt. I have also re sprung it for more weight as I am a father now. lol I have about 600 miles on it so far and love it the more I ride it.
501 cooks the gas, need to heat sheild it. The tank pick up is pretty dumb yea. But loving the bike especially with Best Dualsport Bikes power package which includes tuned stock ecu and an open exhaust tip among other things...65hp
Picked mine up from TacoMoto while you were there! It was awesome seeing you again in Moab! The 501 is an awesome bike! The ECU and Rekluse makes the bike so fun to ride over all different types of terrain. Honestly I'm in the traction control mode 80% of the time and the bike is still a screamer! No regrets and can't wait for more adventures with this bike
