- Tom Brady was roasted by a bunch of celebrities on Netflix in a live roast. There were some brutal jokes at Tom Brady's expense. Overall, it was a perfectly fine roast.

Tom Brady took it like a real man.
I saw an article trying to pin him as weak for the Robert Kraft thing. I respect him being defensive of the man though.
Shocking, considering he's a cheating douche.
No diddy
Like a gay man
@@matthewpresley8060 Im not from the States, why did it hit a nerve with him you think?
Norm was the biggest troll of them all.
They told him to roast expecting shock value, instead he opted for dad jokes.
Did the opposite.
Norm doing jokes from the 40s is great
In his day, Don Rickles killed every roast he attended.
Totally. He wouldn't have a career today. Hopefully the LEFT/Hollywood will allow comedy again
💯
@@travisjazzbo3490I can just imagine how the people of today would be crying over Don Rickles routines, I'm sure some would even try to sue him. He was completely ruthless. I loved him.
Norm Macdonald's roast of Bob Saget is the best! The audience didn't even know how to react to him.
I loved that. I've listened to it over and over
One of the balsiest things I've seen a comedian do. He truly didnt care.
the man was literally the best of all time. it aint even close.
I recently started watching the Dean Martin roasts with my parents, and - despite not knowing any of the context or celebrities involved (other than Dean Martin) - I find them to be really funny.
Oh, I loved the Dean Martin roasts. I knew who the people were. They were the best roasts, I think.
Report the porn bait bots, first report their profile, then their comments. If you report the comment first, it will dissapper and you will lose the profile to report it.
Some may seem like a positive comment, but it is a bot. Normally they have a profile picture of a woman in a bikini or something.
I always report them. There is also the occasional post about someone looking for investment advice followed by a bunch of posts of people answering them with a referral to someone they are trying to push to buy some financial garbage. I report them as well
Daily wire pays for them to up their comment count and further push them in algorithms.
I've never seen one that I know what are they?
The Comedy Central roast of Donald Trump was also hilarious I thought. It's probably watchable here on UA-cam. Of course, it was back when EVERYONE in Hollywood loved him, before he came out as a Republican and ran for president.
People are so petty and clan like. They loved Trump until he put a R in front of his name.
@@scottinnh88When he went from Donald to Ronald
I did not expect Julian Edelman to be the funniest person there😂 Tony killed it like crazy too
That "oh hell gnaw" joke was a thing of beauty.
I know nothing about football but I’ve been watching Julian interviews now.
1:40 Roasts have always been vulgar, tf you mean? Over the last 15 years most mainstream roasts have been absolutely censored and watered down, just like this one. Netflix had rules against them making jokes about real things some of these "celebrities" did. The roasts from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's were ten times raunchier. Richard Pryor and the gang are shaking their heads and the pathetic meta that is the comedy scene right now.
You either tell PC bits that align with the left, or you tell slightly controversial jokes that force you to be embraced by the right (they only like the raunchy/edgy shit because they know the PC folks hate it). Both sides are not enjoying comedy for humor and comedies sake, they are weaponizing it and forcing you to pick a side and a role.
Dana White was the best at Tom Brady roast going straight for the libs throats 😂
I really wish Norm could have been at the Tom Brady roast
I bet Norm does too😉
@sassynfree884 Yes, he passed too soon
"Huge cultural event"
I didn't know it even happened until this video.
👏
World must be small if Treytison1444 hasn’t seen a video
Well I at least hope it’s comfy in that rock you live under
I concur 🤣
Let’s be honest most people that watch the daily wire don’t pay much attention to anything outside politics
Nikki Glazer and Andrew Schulz had amazing sets
Andrew is a moron
Good for Tom Brady taking the hits and defensing those who merit defense.
Michael Knowles has the sense of humor of a door nail. I can’t believe anyone takes his opinions of comedians seriously
Andy Sandberg was similar at the James Franco roast. Just extremely horrible jokes, which made it awesome.
He was such a pro. Norm is my favorite comedian of all time.
My favorite line at any of the roasts is when Courtney love was asked how she looks worse than Kurt Cobain.
Hinchcliffe was the highlight. The long bombs at brown people joke and the diabolical giggle afterwards was priceless. interesting how it doesn’t make the cut on anyone’s highlight reel…
Him and Nikki were great
I love how you love Norm McDonald. 😊
Tom brady looks like a ventriloquist doll
My wife kept saying that Tom reminds her of something, not someone, the entire roast. You hit the nail on the head!
@@SignoreRock your wife was so right and as are you, Elkski84 hit the nail dead on the head. I think he has too much filler or maybe had a recent face-lift
You are 💯 correct about Norm! The Greatest!
Google Don rickles.. roasting people and Dean Martin's celebrity and other uncensored roast....
Sincerely from a gen x
Yep. Never be better. :)
You where the only DW who covered this 😂
The Tony clip you just played was a masterclass in roasting.
Roasts have always been that way. There have been even worse things said.
Comedians like Bill Burr and even dark comedians like Doug Stanhope has said that norm‘s roast was pure genius. The average person would see this roast as lame but in a comedians viewpoint norms roast was on purpose like that and it was just beautiful. They all said they would never have the guts or courage to do what norm did. But being that norm is norm… he just went for it.
This was a great Roast. I like the Dean Martin Roast too.
Don Rickles and Foster Brooks are the kings of the roast. There will never be anyone like those two again.
Brooks roast of Rickles was the all time best.
Netflix allowing this roast and these jokes this give anyone else hope in America at all it did for me
Id say Andy Sanberg was really different and subverted expectations at the Franco roast
Fun fact-Sandbergs roast of Franco was actually in honor of Norm
@@stevescott3735 wow I didnt know that. Thats a great tidbit. My overall fav roast is the Bieber roast, I was heaving laughing and Kevin was better roast master at that than the Brady one. Wbu
Norm is the G.O.A.T. still cracks me up. And no one in the crowd getting it is even funnier to me
For those that don't know they had been told and all agreed not to tell jokes about the massage stuff or about tom bradys kids.
Love it. Watched TB but heard you for first time. You are great.
Peter. ...BOSTON
nothing on don rickles 😂
Brady does look like he doesnt own a doghouse. Which is fine.
I understood that reference!😂
I’m sure his parents are very proud of him
This was a death blow to woke comedy. Take it for what it is
Tony hinchcliff killed it, you know it was good when Kevin hart couldn’t even get a sentence out after it because he was dying. Comedy isn’t and doesn’t have to be a safe space and I say that as a liberal
Tony is so funny. He’s probably a top 5 comedian rn. Kill Tony is such a good comedy show
Respect that Tom took exception to his dad.
His dad? The patriots owner
@@Thumper68 yes. They have a father-son relationship. His real dad's pretty awesome too
It was great that it wasn’t safe, politically correct, and woke!!! Keep comedy alive.
This was awesome. Truly. It was funny.
I'm 57 years old and I only understood 2 of Norm McDonald's jokes and only the Cloris Leachman joke was in the neighborhood of funny. Norm McDonald was funnier on SNL's Weekend Update.
Roasts are just about the only real comedy events anymore. Everything else is apologetic comedy.
Tom took it on the chin, like Giselle did with BBJ trainer
I did exactly the same thing as Michael; I immediately went back to the Norm one.
I missed the Roast..this needs to be yearly, Foreal..infact maybe even every Month....😂... Please Netflix do this More often..
Tom Brady killed it. . .
Guess I'm officially an old prude. Many of the jokes were just disgusting. For example, I care nothing for Kim Kardashian, but to say such lewd things about her while she is sitting in front of you was unbelievable. If this is our "cultural event" so much for the culture.
She deserves no respect.
@@brandons2825 I agree. But nobody should be publicly called out in such a disgusting way. Anyway, that's only one example. Kevin Hart starts out by joking about how a black light would reveal cum all over the room. Just classless IMO.
my favorite norm moment was the Saturday night live after OJ was found not guilty norm comes out and saids ladies and gentlemen it's official murder is now legal in the state of California norm is sadly missed.
The Ol Chunk of Coal could get pretty vulgar too😂 He got kicked out of Iowa by the governor for some raunchy jokes.
Its the same thing though...if you tell Norm there's certain things you just cant say or there's certain things you must say, he would say F that and break the rules.
Michael Knowles love for Norm McDonald is my favorite thing about him
Best one was definitely Andy Samberg at the roast of James Franco.
Give it a watch. Hilarious.
Tom Brady's roast was a zeitgeist moment culturally. And that's not to say it was Martin Luther, "I have a dream." But in today's overly hyperbolic, everything is politicized media addicted world. This felt like tonight the rules don't apply.
It was predominantly a bunch of guys just letting it all hang out and give each other shit. 😂❤
Personally I can't believe Tom Brady sat there and just took it. But after 13 years of Gisele 'Hippie Queen' Bundchen he was probably used to it. 😂❤
The biggest thing is that they make it unbelievably clear that if they’re offended, they will ruin their public image. This is made clear to them before they start and they spend a week in self flatulation in order to not get offended 😂
@@Shermoose Like a WOKE deprivation chamber 😤😳😂
What you said about comedy is the truth about life.
Mike you nailed it. We need to make being normal normal again. Winning strategy and it's how we take things back
It was one of the funnest things I have ever seen! I loved it! They were all sooooo funny!!!!
I don’t get this at all. Not sure who convinced Brady, an unbelievably talented and dedicated great of his sport, to go on this and be ‘roasted’ by a bunch of fat, overrated, plastic faced losers - but it was a bad idea.
This American tradition of roasting is really contrived and odd, speaking as someone not form the USA.
Tony's jokes were a result of comedic suppression lol. He had to cut every throat there to get the point across. And if you watch Kill Tony, you'll know there are no barriers when it comes to comedy and he was trying to bring that back to the mainstream. I knew Tony and Andrew Schultz would be the best in my opinion.
Keep fighting the craziness in your country, it's becoming rediculous.
Don Rickles for me was the best at roasting
I loved it. These were amazing. Tony killed it.
people keep saying that but that was actually a joke too. and a great one. Robert craft joke.. when tom stood up.
This absolutely had to be done live or this never would've aired
Trad life is great🥳
I used to love roasts going all the way back to the 70s, but in the last few years, they've become vulgar fests. Comics don't even make jokes anymore; they're just rude, nasty, and shocking as you can be. That's it. Norm is the last great comedian. He's what comedy is about: risk and fck the reward. He didn't care. He was the anti-comedian, the funniest guy in the room. Why? He was always willing to take risks, and by that, I don't mean be vulgar, but to go after the status quo, to mock the powers that be, even those that could cancel him and all who dared to step on any toes. He was a master and is missed greatly.
Compared to the days of the Dean Martin Roasts, today's slag-fest swills in little more than a gratuitous demeaning filth salad intended purely for the shock value spewed up by 'celebrities'' that live in glass houses and who shouldn't be standing up naked in the bath. At least Martin's roasts were genuinely funny and without the smutty college attempts at humour which those interested enough to tune in are subjected with today!
"Bert Kreischer is the king. He looks like if the Tiger King f--ked the Liver King while eating nothing but Burger King and had a liver that looked like Martin Luther King got beaten up by Rodney King."
I assume will smith wasn’t invited 😂
Patrice O’Neal had a great performance at Charlie Sheens Roast
Holy crap. I remember watching Bob Saget’s roast. The footage looks so old now. I feel old now.
im a stand up
norm is a god
TB is strong and sport!
Title should be Reacts to Tony hinchcliffe then talks for 15mins
Me thinks Brady doth protest too much about the Frost joke 👀
😂
I kind of understand why he did what he did there. I appreciate he did that actually. Sure, Frost did what he did, but Tom is really close to him so I get it
Andy Sandburg tried to do the Norm MacDonald thing on a roast, but people don't talk about him doing it 🤷
Did Michael just make a small jab at Ben…? Did anyone else notice that or was it just me?
I missed the time when this was a Reaction Channel 🤭
At the end you described Canadian conservative leader Pierre’s ‘common sense’ platform. And he’s smashing the polls
um. sure buddy. your opinion is ALSO valid on comedy, sure. /geezus
Best roast ever was Andy Samberg on James Franco and you can't change my mind.
I kept waiting for you to just say trads versus rads. You need everything to be in slogan form.
Awww Brady had to get up and defend daddy Kraft
TONY IS A REALLY GOOD BALL BUSTER.
These roasts haven't changed that much the only thing that's changed is the soft frail little people that record themselves and put it on the internet are now watching this stuff and then recording themselves talking about it
I think left vs right still remains valid.
tony killed it!
I was there. It was amazing
Nikki did an awesome job!
Niki rocked it, awesome
Niki Glaser was the best roaster!!!
roasts back in the 70's were just as vulgar. people are just more sensitive today
The German AfD has the theme "Germany. But normal."
Wow . Good video
Norm was Brilliant but you have to understand his humor ....
Nikki Glazer was hilarious
How is Tucker Carlson's economics left-leaning? Thats a genuine question.
2 examples:
For one thing, I think I remember him talking in interviews about how he thought a UBI (universal basic income) was a good thing, and that he was for it. Please anyone, correct me if I'm wrong. I don't follow Tucker that closely.
But I also specifically remember Ben Shapiro's Sunday Special interview w Tucker, where Tucker was advocating for the government to intervene in the free market.
Specifically, Tucker was very concerned about the potential for hundreds of thousands of truckers to lose their jobs due to new driverless trucks replacing them. He believed that the government should intervene and outlaw driverless trucks. Shapiro was arguing that throughout history, people have always been able to adapt to new technology, that truckers would find other jobs, and that it wasn't the government's place to interfere in the free market like that.
Actually, I think they discussed UBI in that same interview.
To be clear, it is more of a liberal/Democrat/left idea to want the government to intervene and regulate, in the hopes of fixing problems.
Whereas it's more of a conservative/Republican/right idea to leave the government out of things and to let the free market correct itself, because we have lots of examples from history in which government intervention doesn't help, but only makes the problem worse. Or it helps, but creates new problems in the process.
UBI is a liberal/Democrat/left idea for the same reasons!(Government intervention would either not fix the problem at all, or if it would fix the problem, it would just create more, new problems in the process, so conservatives argue it's best for government to stay out of it.)
Hope that helps!
@@gwynthegnome2050 I did not know he had those positions, I must say I disagree with him their; but generally he's good.
