- I'm finally back on the bicycle. It feels good to be out bikepacking again.
I can't believe how hot it is out here. Some of the temps are hitting 38c and this week it's supposed to hit 45c. I'm not sure if my Canadian blood can even exist in that kind of temperature.
Mikoto and I have been mostly travelling by night. It's the only way. I tried doing an all day ride and I just got dizzy and with all these storms it's been pretty humid, so sometimes it got hard to breath.
Anyways we are trooping through.

Damn, that’s a tough break with the trailer!
Please don’t use soap in water sources. Even biodegradable soap does not biodegrade in water. Please use a plastic bag, or Sea to Summit kitchen sink and wash 50 meters away from water sources.
Also, please pass this information along. A lot of bicycle travelers appear to be unaware of this.

It's beef tallow soap is perfectly fine and safe to use in water.

Tbh I hate it. It handles terribly. Especially when she stands then lays down, then decides to stand again.

I was getting pretty discouraged on one stretch of the road. I also used my air pump so many times it broke. I had to replace it yesterday.
