I keep buying cheaply made spray bottles with 1 thread and have to pick it up low or the spray part comes off and the bottle hits the floor and spills and/or the cheap sprayer doesn’t work etc. can you recommend and workable spray bottle with 2 or more threads lol. Thanks
I've always found "brake cleaner" to work rather well! It almost removes any build-up gunk and dirt without scrubbing. It's also not corrosive like water is. I just spray it in and take a brush to it. Then I wipe it off with a rag. I then apply a very thin coat of wd40 to the blade, and it's good as new.
I do the same to my table saw blades and router bits too and use diluted pink simple green. Completely agree how well it works, and I use regular brush with plastic bristles which is enough if you give it half an hour of a soak. And clean blade is much better. not extra tears out and burning marks.
That's interesting Steve! My grandfather used granular Tide with bleach to clean the moss off his roof. Interesting to hear liquid detergent works for cleaning blades. Thanks
Thank you for another very helpful and informative video. You are a great teacher.

The ones at Home Depot seem pretty good. Thanks
Amazing stuff. And it's so nice to have all your blades clean.
Thanks

For 30 years I have used liquid laundry detergent, works great ...

I still see some pitch/resin on the blade
It's a well used blade, and as long as the teeth are clean, it's ready to use. It's the best cleaner I've found. Thanks.
