I'll pull it out in the morning, the problem I think is the plate between ABS and Master Cylinder the one you had on your video with a broken screen. But they don't sell that, I'll try to tighten it, I lose about 4 oz every few weeks, and it shows below on the frame.

I removed my abs unit from the 4 runner and discovered that it was a unit removed from another car, that is, it is old.. who then I replaced it.. the car is 2021.. I understand that they replaced it, since the spare part is expensive.. but I took it off and will go through it and look for the reason.. the engine often turned on and the pressure dropped, the hydraulic accumulator is not to blame.. some kind the valve lets pressure through..thank you..I’ll open it tomorrow.

For your case it might be a stuck open valve or an electrical issue with the module that cause the original unit to be replaced. So find the source of the reason of replacing it to a older one and maybe then you will see the true reason. 👍
Hi I have you did something great.There is something missing the cotter pin between the master cylinder and the abs unit you didn’t show us where’s located?
I'm sorry for not showing where it comes from, but that holds the pistons in place inside the master cylinder. It not suppose to be inline with any of the holes on the ABS unit I hope that helps
Hey, how did you repair the damaged mesh in the filters? My 2001 prado is leaking brake fluid from this electric booster, but no lights are on. The brakes however is a bit tough to press when stopping. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago.
Thanks for your comment over there in Trinidad 🇹🇹 👍. The mesh that was damaged was put back as is, reason for that Is I can't locate internal parts for the assembly. I did a proper cleaning of the whole thing and put it back together. For the leakage that you are having, can you see exactly where it's leaking from? 1. It could be leaking from one of the 3 seals for the brake fluid reservoir. 2. The master cylinder itself could be leaking 3. It could be leaking from between the master cylinder and ABS unit 4. It could also be leaking from one of the pressure pipes as well. I would recommend to have the whole assembly wash up and clean so you can pin point where exactly it's leaking from.
did you ever find out where the little metal rod came from? i took mine apart and dont want to put it back yet till i know for sure its in the right place
Hi, when you removed the master cylinder, did a small metal rod or dowel fall out from between the master cylinder and the ABS unit? I just pulled one apart and a metal rod fell out, but I am unsure which hole it belongs in, as it fits in multiple. Thanks!
I know the metal rod your talking about but am not remembering where it came from, I'm watching back the video to see if I could see it but I don't. But I'm going to see if I can help you figure it out
What codes and symptoms did you have prior to removing the abs actuator? Did you have to do anything specific for pressure bleed to remove air lock? Was the dirt and blockage the cause of the issue?
For the codes I don't remember but what I do know is that the ABS, TRC lights were on and there was a beeping sound along with the brake was very hard to push it was tough. The dirt I blew out was a contributing factor to the problem as well, those passages allow brake fluid to pass thru to go various places in the ABS motor so any blockage is a problem.
There might be a internal leak inside the unit, the reason why the pump comes in is because the pressure would go below a certain range after using the brake pedal a few times, so the pump would bring up back the pressure for when you need it again. When it's coming in and out very often, that means the pressure is continuously leaking off and the pump have to bring it back up so when you need to brake pressure is present.
@@patricenjims74 I would say the easiest and cheap thing that you can do is to give the brake system a good bleed and then watch it to see if it's still doing so. If it's still coming in often then I would recommend buying a motor, pump and accumulator assembly and get it installed. If that does make a difference then the whole unit would have to be replaced but it's not cheap. Some ppl would say hey buy the whole entire thing and replace it, they are not wrong but the price is not that easy to come by like that. So trying in stages is what I recommend and leaving getting an replace as last.
Can I ask you a question if there’s no pressure in the line only two line has pressure the red line from the pump and the front passenger line the other lines no pressure when you hold the brake pedals. The brakes pedal still hard no fluid comes out. What is the problem?
So the red pipe is the main pressure line coming from the master cylinder pump to the master cylinder itself, the pump controls the rear wheels mainly so if you are bleeding the brakes, the rear wheel cylinders will spray continuously when pressed and hold the brake pedal. The regular bleeding method is done on the front wheels by pumping the brake pedal and open the bleed nipple
I would recommend doing a complete bleeding procedure on the vehicle to see if pressure starts coming. If not your problem might just be the master cylinder pump and motor. Maybe the motor is not working so the pump can do its thing
The pump is working when I open the red line it’s full of pressure it’s when I pump the brakes I told the person to hold it I open the line there’s no fluid comes out the pedal is still hard it’s supposed to go down and fluid coming out from the nipple.

@@ZubairAli-uj4ux sorry for the late response, OK 2013 camry, Can you see any brake fluid leaking anywhere around the Anti-locking braking system assembly (ABS)? Also you have to look and see if the wire are in good shape and there aren't any broken or pulled out wires in the connector. That's the first thing you have to do visual inspection, if all looks good then it's going to be more technical where that someone with the knowledge of repairing those things have to take a deeper look on the inside of the whole assembly. I am located in jamaica 🇯🇲 I'm not sure where you are from? But if I was close by I could take a look at it for you. What are the symptoms your experiencing?
