Best method I've found to winning is customer cards. I got 4 uniques last game I played. Life Lifter, Gingerbread Jerry, Cold Stone and Tim. Always take customer cards and combine them.

So that pretty much tells me that youre relying on getting good luck with uniques to win, rng is not a strategy.

No.5: Staff stilll sronk, but I agree that the torch was kinda excessive. I believe it triggers spikes and shields as it's a melee weapon, also uses stamina on it's own so moon shields could be a problem. Also without it you could speed the staff more (more space, more gold)
Errybody playing magic staff and here I am losing with round 1 shovel
both torch and staff scale by two damage when torch has one star, but torch costs 1 mana while torch costs 3, so for torch you are paying the extra 2 mana for +6 damage and to be a ranged attack. That's why I like scaling a fortuna w/ mana torch with arrow and a more defensive build with crowns steel goob, and moon shields w/ stoneskins for the mana. also transitions easily into a insta lamp if you see the opportunity.

Magic staff is just not your playing style. You verbalize everything you missed, playing the torch, skipping the fanny pack, etc., and just brush it off as not caring, then wonder why your staff sucks, like bruh you know why you said it all outloud lmao
