Yet another Slacksouls story. First time I found my way to Sif, I had no idea what was there. Going through the forest and get invaded. I bravely run away, and apparently the door you have to open to go into the grave area isn't there when an invasion is happening and Sif's intro cutscene can't be triggered either. So I'm hiding behind the grave (bravely) and eventually the invader gets bored and leaves (my big brain PvP strategy is to waste as much of their time as possible), but then I'm immediately thrown into the fight with the goodest doggo in the entire series. And one shot him. To be fair I think I was much deeper (and higher level) into the game by that point too since I was way too cheap to pay the souls to open up that area as early as you did.
I've just been using OBS so far. Doing a campout with Noah and friends today, but I'll try to stream next Saturday. We'll see if I'm brave enough to drop a link 😅
@@AphraelPilotson Dark Souls is not quite masochism. I’ve been watching reviews of an old jrpg where you are required to wander around a dungeon for four hours before you can move on in the story. I’m glad that time gates as a mechanic are not a common trope
@PresidentFoxman I was thinking more of trying to figure out Dwarf Fortress and Better than Wolves. Although I am a little interested in trying The Longing.

Is this just a game to you?
She said, Yes, and you are playing my game”

@@PresidentFoxman well I know what you're singing at the campfire 😉
Have you practiced "Rejoice"?
@@AphraelPilotson no 😢
I’ve been listening to too much Chromakopia, I’ll start practicing my songs
I didn't realize you had TLC shopbtalk going on as you played 00:21:48
15:34 I'd recommend not letting him hit you. Then hitting him with your sword until he surrenders.

You should open up a stream yard as you're playing and have people come in and talk...

@@AphraelPilotson I have a game that may be good for virtual couch gaming. I’ll mention it at camp
OBS,... havent use that too much but that sounds interesting
When you are doing pvp with a developer, you better hope they are benevolent
@PresidentFoxman I dunno, based on my game choices I tend towards masochism 😅
