Maybe this is a good time to reveal this video's origin - long story short Steven Frailey was taking a nap with the TV on. He had a dream that Darth Vader was a train-hoping hobo and when he woke up, the miniseries Roots was playing & it sat in his head for years till we started collecting materials and hence began a seemingly endless process of putting a story together. We had no idea what to do with it, then suddenly boom- UA-cam appears....

Robert Mendez Yep they way he dismisses the two officers at the end. clutch. and obviously this guy took his time with every frame. PS. "bubbles in the bathtub" with Tarkin just staring at him like "i did not party in college".
+Robert Mendez Yep, the whole video is amazing, but that section and 7:05-7:25 are easily my favorites. The dialogue choices for those scenes were flawless.
Many have tried, but this still is the best riff on Vader hands down. It's clever, funny, changes tone, and really tries to play with the scenes, as opposed to just jumbling in ton of sound bites into garbled nonsense.
Bubbles in the bathtub haha ha it’s the look on Grand Moff Tarkins face he looks like he’s so uncomfortable listening to the story of his wife who was probably the greatest kisser he had ever had

Whether he realized it or not, James Earl Jones’ amazing voice contributed to one of the best videos to ever exist on UA-cam, and the first video I ever favorited way back when the site was new. RIP to a legend.
I have watched this so many times and it cracks me up each time! One of my favourites is when he utters "Oh God" when he sees Princess Laeh come along, also, when he talks about being the "champion of the world" and how everyone scatters at the same time when he is finished - at 1:15 I think.
I remember seeing this video when I was really young I think in middle school or grade school when UA-cam was still super young I still can’t believe James Earl Jones is gone he will never be forgotten by any of us Star Wars fans I know there’s been a lot of division in the community lately, but we can all agree on one thing. James Earl Jones is a legend and always will be and we all love him and will miss him dearly
The ending is even funnier when you view it as Vader getting increasingly apathetic and annoyed with his crew, and decides to just blow up the Death Star himself and peace out.
One of the best made videos ever, an all-time classic! Rest in peace to James Earl Jones. 1:21 "oh god" 3:00 "daddy is the bread winner" 4:43 "big son of a bitch" 6:38 "shut the fuck up ... that's right Sall!y"

Had to come back and watch this since the news hit. I admit this video was one of the first things that I thought about when he died. I still get some laughs and chuckles from this video to this day. RIP, James Earl Jones!!!
16 years later, still holds the crown. Lot of great contenders, but Vader Sessions is steadfast.
one of the best; too bad he was forced to lower the resolution
my downstairs neighbor showed me this 10 years ago. he knew how much i loved vader. this video never fails to make me laugh.
It gets funnier as it goes along. The editing of this video is genius. Masterful use of sound. All in all, would pay for a feature length version.
@@Hellaframes It never gets old. It may have they keys to everlasting life.
Absolute pure genius. I love the Obi-Wan Kenobi scene, "Vader.. if you strike me down, I'll become more power..." "SHUT THE FV

This is still easily one of the top ten best UA-cam videos ever created.
Agreed, although I think it actually predates UA-cam.

This was the second video I ever posted on MySpace...

So funny. I could probably watch it every day.

Second time I’ve watched this in 24 hours. Felt appropriate. He will be missed.
Still can't get over how totally perfect the "Guys, come in here" is. Like, it's so well placed, it's hard to imagine it not in the actual movie
