Welcome to "Nick Cave week" on Tiny TV 🖤 @nickcave
In this week, I will give you some of the best questions and answers from the first Nick Cave interview in 5 years! It took place as a press conference at The Royal Danish Library, November 2020. I was there representing The Danish Broadcasting Corporation (the radio channel P6 BEAT) and Tiny TV.
By the end of "Nick Cave week", I will upload the entire press conference.
In this first excerpt Nick Cave talks a little bit about the coming album "Carnage" and the process of writing lyrics and recording music during Covid-19 lock-down. The interview was filmed in December 2020 and nobody knew that Nick Cave & Warren Ellis would release "Carnage" two months later. Nor did we know the title of the album.

Carnage is so good. I stand on my balcony with my newborn son and every morning I tell him with Nick, "This morning is amazing and so are you."

Carnage is such a great album. Already one of my favorites of the year. Nick Cave's brilliance only gets more refined with age.

I have no clue how I missed this when you first posted it. Its probably because of the strange times we are in and the lack of expectation in Lockdown for anything like this to happen. I am upset the whole thing isnt still there but whats left is great. Great questions and brilliant, thought provoking answers as ever from Nick. Thank you, I just had to subscribe as I am sure theres lots of other things on your channel that will be as delightful as this.

No unfortunately not 😔 I guess it might be Nick Caves record company/management who owns the rights to the full press conference.

@@niaane8567 yeah, the press conference itself was. But not the recording. And the recording was not made by me but by Nicks own team. Therefore, they own the rights 😊
Hey, why is the interview edited in the wrong way. The first video shows the end of it ? Why is the full video out? You should post it fully. It totally jeopardized the interview
