Hello! You are so sweet and I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your makes with us. Blessings,
Hi Jingyi! Stash is my usual yarn shop, it’s so nice to hear that you were able to check it out! Custom Woollen Mills is just outside of Calgary (~45 minute drive) so if you ever make it back out here you should check it out. They use some really cool looking (and very old) carding and spinning machines. I knit the Woodfolk sweater by the petite knitter out of some yarn from custom wooden mills just last year. Excited to see what you do with your yarn!
Wow this is so cool to learn! I will definitely checkout Custom Woollen Mills next time!! I love Petite Knitter's design and cannot imagine how pretty your finished object is🤩!! I will probably use mine for the Seasons Cardigan by Ozetta.
You are so darling😊. I can’t wait to see what you are knitting in your future episodes. Hugs.
Thank you so much🥰🥰
Congratulations on your 1st episode 🇨🇦
Thank you!🥰
G’day, I really enjoyed your 1st podcast, well done 👍looking forward to future episodes 🇦🇺
Thank you🥰
Love your first podcast! Your tank top is beautiful.
Thank you🥰
There is always space for more knitting content. Welcome! 💐
Thank you for your comment and welcoming me! 🥰
Congratulations on your first podcast! Your camisole fits you perfectly. Your notes are very detailed. Looking forward to see future ones.
Thank you🥰! Ep.2 is on the way!
Hello, I shop lot on line at The Woolly Thistle. They are in New Hampshire and carry Retrosario yarns. Might be cheaper shipping charges than coming in from Canada. Nice first you tube!
Wow they also have unspun yarns I want to try out! Thank you for sharing❤️
A wonderful first video I enjoyed it :) your camisole looks great on you, such a pretty color. I look forward to seeing your next podcast episode💜
Glad that you enjoyed it❤️ and thank you for the support🥰
Hello 👋 I enjoyed your podcast and learned a few things about the yarn you bought. Thank you for sharing.
I’m currently working on socks and a top called Tip Top Tank by Maker Maker. It’s still pretty warm here in Texas so my daughter will be able to wear it.
Congratulations on your new podcast channel. 🎉 I really enjoyed it.
Hello😄! Glad that you enjoyed the content! That’s my goal of sharing❤️
Tip Top Tank looks so pretty from revelry! It’s also warm here in Cali. Guess we can enjoy the camisole season for a little bit longer😂
Absolutely 😊
Your first episode is lovely. Congratulations. Looking forward to your next one already. The camisole looks very pretty on you
Thank you for your support!❤️

Yay to starting your first podcast! I uploaded my first podcast episode too! I hope you had fun in Calgary!
High five! We’re both newbie UA-camrs😆
I’m very happy for your podcast @ that you had a lovely time here in Canada. Thank you for sharing your beautiful projects 😃
Thank you for your comment! I will definitely visit Canada again🥰
No such thing as too many knitting podcasts! Great first episode 😊
Yay, thank you🥰
So excited to have found another Bay Area knitter! I can't wait to follow along with your projects -- I love how classy your color choices are. I'm working on a cabled test knit in Nutiden :) Also, if you want more Mondim in the Bay, Busyworks carries a ton of colors!!
Yeah I also got to connect with knitters in Bay Area! I been wanting to try out Nutiden for so long! Thank you for the yarn shop recommendation and glad that you like my color choice🥰
I really enjoyed your 1st podcast! i'm in Pacifica, just a couple cities north of you. Thanks for sharing your LYS, i was not aware so i look forward to checking it out. We have a great LYS in Pacifica, it's The Royal Bee Company. Looking forward to your podcast!
I’m in East bay so we are very close! Thank you for your recommendation, and I am adding it to my list of yarn shops to visit😆
Your knits are lovely! ❤
Thank you🥰
I am very happy to fing your channel, the video is very nice to watch and inspiring! I started to knit my first pair of socks, because I find it funny that I manage to knit a sweater but cannot knit something as small as a sock :D
I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed my video🥰, which give me confidence to keep on sharing! Regarding socks knitting -- I also found them harder to knit than sweaters cause socks have so many techniques happen in so little space... but you will learn everything you need once you finished your first pair😆
Congratulations on Episode 1! Really enjoyed it. Great idea about buying yarn when traveling. I'll definitely do that next time I go somewhere.
Thank you! Let’s all have yarns as special souvenirs🥰
I'd never heard of the musk ox fibre, very intriguing! I'm working on a test knit cowl in colour work!
I also didn’t know musk ox fiber before this trip, thinking it might be interesting to share! Glad you enjoyed the content!
I’m currently making a bubble shrug in bulky weight yarn held together with mohair and two sweaters for each of my grand daughters! Would love to go to Banff and Calgary some day! Great first video! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Cathy, thanks for your comment! A chunky shrug with bubble -- that sounds so lovely!! I am sure your grand daughters will love them🥰.
Wow that off white and light brown go really well together!
Yay! So happy you also love this color combo🤍🤎
Really enjoyed this, and fabulous ending! I’ve just completed the calm down cardigan by Lily Kate France, loved it so much I’ve just purchased more BC Garn Loch Lomond yarn in a different shade to make another! Look forward to seeing what you do with those sumptuous yarns 😀
Glad to hear that you enjoyed it❤️! Omg calm down cardigan looks soooo good! As a cardigan lover I will definitely make one, with the yarn you recommended!
really enjoyed your podcast Jingyi, thank you!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it!🥰
Congratulations on your first video!!!! It was a pleasure to watch 💚🧶💚
Yeah!! So happy to hear that you like it!
Hi, love the colour of your square neck camisole! It's one that's on my to-knit list for next summer I'm thinking and now I'm definitely wanting it in this blue colour
Thanks for your comment! Glad to hear that you love my color choice🤝
So happy you started a podcast! I enjoyed your first episode
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it❤️
Congratulations! You did great! Looking forward to seeing you again 😊
Thank you for the support!!🥰
I was knitting a baby blanket that’s going to be a gift for my teacher and watching this video: I can’t wait for episode 2!
That’s so cute! Thank you for your support!
Congratulations on your first podcast! Beautiful beautiful projects! I look forward to your future episodes!!!
Thank you for your support! I hope I can have enough content to share soon .... most likely early October🤞
As someone who enjoys watching knitting podcasts while knitting, I think there can never be too many knitting podcasts!
And I completely agree with getting yarn as a souvenir on trips. I’ve been doing this for the past year, and it brings me a lot of joy to knit with those yarns because it reminds me of the fun trips and experiences that I’ve had.
I’m currently working on a pair of socks in the Farmer McGregor pattern with some pink hand died yarn that I got in LA on a visit to a friend.
Great to know that you enjoyed my podcast! Thank you so much!
Yes that’s exactly why I love visiting local yarn shops when traveling! Now we have one more excuse to buy yarns🤣
Thanks for sharing what you are working on! This sock pattern looks soooo pretty, and such a great fit using hand dye yarns. Happy knitting!
Congratulations on making your first podcast! I really enjoyed seeing your beautiful projects and look forward to the next video. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡
Thank you so much!! I am very happy that you enjoyed❤️
Beautiful work especially the camisole and I love the colours you have chosen!
Thank you!! 💙💙
So great to hear about your trip to my country Canada! And love the Canadian yarn you picked up here!
Thank you for leaving comment! I will definitely visit Canada again!!🥰
Lovely to meet you. I went to nursing school in Calgary but live near Vancouver. Just made a tea cozy from my Custom Woolen Mills wool
Thank you for your comment🥰 A tea cozy!! Can’t image how lovely it is🫖
Hi and welcome to the podcasting world! The first one is the hardest. I hope you enjoyed your visit to Canada. I live on the other side of the country in Quebec. Loved your first episode! Best wishes from a Canadian knitting podcaster!
Thank you for your support! I enjoyed visiting Canada so much that I am planning my next trip already😆, and Quebec is on my list!!
🥰
Lovely first podcast, Jingyi! I have visited Banff and Jasper many years ago. It is so beautiful there and I loved seeing your footage. You will have amazing knitted souvenirs soon with your acquisitions.
Thank you❤️ I heard Jasper is also very beautiful. Will definitely visit Jasper one day (maybe wearing my knitted souvenirs😆)!
I enjoyed watching this while I work, good job!
Glad you enjoyed it❤️💼
Hello! You are lovely and I enjoyed your first podcast. I am a Canadian living in Japan and my daughter went to university near Calgary so I am familiar with all the places you spoke about. Actually Custom Woollen Mills is close to Calgary so next time you go you should visit the mill! I am knitting on the Stockholm V-neck sweater by Petite Knit using Woolfolk Stra and the fabric it is creating is divine. Looking forward to your next podcast :
Thank you for sharing this! I didn’t get the chance to check out the Milll but will definitely do so the next time (maybe wearing garments made out of custom woolen mills yarn?😆)
Wow I always wanted to use Woolfolk Stra! The fiber content and the look of the yarn is quite unique. Enjoy knitting!
Well done on your first podcast! Your camisole looks great, the colour is so nice. I'm working on a summer (the Sailor Swift Top by Veronica Lindberg) that I'm trying to get finished quickly so I might be able to wear it at least once before it gets too cold!
Thank you Rosie! I’ve been eyeing on this top for a long time😆! Wish you will finish this soon❤️
Congratulations on your podcas!. Your podcast was recommended to me so I definitely wanted to check it out. I thought it was really cool that you came to visit my hometown Calgary. I hope you enjoyed your stay and loved visiting Banff National Park. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I am currently working on my third garment, a Ranunculus. I began knitting four years ago and mostly have knitted socks, but wanted to start knitting sweaters. Happy knitting!
Thank you!! I also found it very cool to be able to connect with people from Calgary. I enjoyed my trip so much that I am planning the next to Canada😂! Happy knitting and enjoy your Ranunculus🥰!
You are obviously a very talented knitter, your work is lovely. I LOVE the wool you got, all your info was so interesting! Keep up the good podcasting, I really enjoyed it, and I'm happy to subscribe! What I've been knitting is the Melides Camisole Top by Ines Santana de Oliviera, in fingering weight cotton/linen by Woolyknits in an indigo color. I love it, but the applied icord edging in a very non-stretchy yarn is really hard on the hands, and I've had to give up knitting for a week to let my right hand heal. Enjoying your podcast is a lovely way to take a knitting break :- )
Thank you for your comment and sharing your project! I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed my podcast🥰! Taking time to rest and stretch our hands is important😆
A lovely podcast! Congratulations and good luck on your new endeavor. The qiviuk yarn is beautiful! I have never seen that before. Thank you!!!
Thank you!! Glad that you loved my first attempt of filming🥰
I’ve started knitting on qiviuk now, and the experience is soooo nice!
@@knit_by_Jingyi we are spoiled as knitters!
I’m knitting the basic cardigan by Cleome Smith. Thank you for your very enjoyable podcast. 😊
Basic cardigan is all we need for this season 🍁🍂
You are so welcome!🥰
Congrats on your first video!! I like your style a lot, and I'm so happy to see more Chinese knitters on UA-cam.
Keep it up! Looking forward to seeing more videos from you, and maybe some of them can be in Chinese 😀
Thank you!! I will for sure post content in Chinese❤️ 谢谢你!
Your square neck cami looks so good! congrats on your first podcast!!
Yay, thank you!!
Knitting a polo sweater! Love your video!!
I haven’t knit any polo sweater but it’s definitely on my list! Thank you🥰
!
I am making a crocheted cardigan, stripes
Sounds fun! Enjoy😍
Did you take that cool train trip around that part of Canada?
I was road trip on car the whole time. What‘s the train trip? Seems I missed something fun😅
I have some precious qiviut, I have been searching for a neck kerchief, I think I am going to knit Gudrun Johnston of Shetland traders snaraness, as I have the book, but it’s a toss up with scarf#1 by my favourite things, or hyo bandana by aegyo knits, still deciding. I think I will go with snaraness, as I have the pattern, and it is the laciest one, as mine is 100% qiviut, so I want a pattern with lace. It is so precious I want to love what I make, any ideas for yours? Glad I found you, I am enjoying, from B.C. ,Canada.
Wow 100% qiviut is such a precious yarn! All the patterns you mentioned are lovely, and hope you will love what you make! I knitted I Love Stripes Bandana with mine, and gifted it to my mom. You can check my podcast ep.2 and ep.3 for more details!
@@knit_by_Jingyi thanks, I am going to look that pattern up!
Hi , you made a very cute camisole and the color is one of my favorite.... I'm making my elisabeth blouse by petiteknit...see you the next podcast....
I am happy to hear that you love my color choice💙. Thanks for sharing your project! Happy knitting🥰
