We just increased the size of our pond. Now it's time to add some fish. We added 100 bluegill and 100 crappie along with 5 lbs of minnows. Fish fry in the future!
I didn’t have any luck with them. Never caught one. The bluegill have done great. I’ve that about the crappie, but that wouldn’t bother me if they got too plentiful! Thanks for watching.

You bought crappie? Go catch a dozen adults with a single hook jig at your local lake and throw them in.
That’s a good idea, because I haven’t caught one crappie yet. The bluegill did great.
How's it going with crappie in a sutch a small pond? I've heard that they are not good for small ponds bc they reproduce so fact that they take over.

How much did the digging cost
Free, the contractor got the dirt and I got my pond enlarged.

The work on the pond cost me nothing. They used the dirt on another project.
