I'm old enough now not to be surprised by the let down, disappointment, and blues that sometimes come with change -- even when it's something we anticipated with joy. It's usually temporary. And it comes and goes. Maturity has its blessings, and that's a big one. "Cela aussi passera."

Janice, after this chat, I believe you are more courageous than i thought before. I too am 69 years old and feel I have another chapter or two left to write. I live in the coastal area of Mississippi and am a retired R.N. I have been watching your videos since the beginning and really admire your adventurous spirit. I also adore your fur babies and enjoy seeing them. I have enjoyed all of your videos to date and why not mix it up like you have been doing? I think it is nice to see your surroundings in and out of your apartment as well as your addressing different subjects.
Wow I thank you so much for that. I was very concerned about this video. I thought well people want to see more France but also this is part of living in a new country whether it’s France or anywhere else so I took a chance and I do appreciate your kind words

When I was 20 I went to the USA as part of my training, for 4 months. From London to California, I cried all the way, cried for 2 subsequent days when I got there, and then, I was ok and didn’t want to go home! But exhaustion and a huge upheaval can cause chaos with your body. You are wonderful, so many wouldn’t do what you do. I love the videos, you are true to yourself. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Oh my, yes, I had anxiety and panic attacks too that started when I was 21. I am 54 now, but still have anxiety at times and panic. I hope that it will get better. I am trying. Anxiety and depression go together for me and I have to be careful not to get over tired and not to have too much commotion around me.
You might not call yourself brave, but you ARE courageous! My husband passed away just about seven years ago, after we had been married 47 years - a major change for me, as not only did I lose my best friend, but I had never lived alone before! Many major changes come after one becomes a widow, and none of them are easy! So it takes courage to have a dream, make it a goal and then proceed to carry it out....we all applaud you! Your courage makes me more courageous. BTW, you LOOK French - your style is chic, and the way you carry yourself and apply make up and wear your hair, tells one 'this lady is French"! So - well done, you! I am thoroughly impressed!!!
Yes, completely agree on the etiquette for travel. We all need to be sensitive to cultural differences. The ugly American stereotype is real. I know we can all do better when traveling!🇺🇸❤️

I am British and I live in France. It's possible to spot an American from miles away. First, you can hear them. Loud, rude , disrespectful and abrasive. Why do they insist on shouting at people, instead of just talking? Then, their appearance. French people do, now, wear sneakers with dresses. As, especially in Cities, they need to walk many miles. (women carry smarter work shoes in their bags They change on arrival at work.) Americans seem to think it's obligatory to 'advertise' their presence. Sandals, Trainers, Scruffy 'too long' shorts, Loud coloured Shirts or Tee shirts advertising their Cities, Sports team or University ( whether they attended or not 😂) A baseball cap and backpack....sorted, no matter WHERE they are visiting. They attempt to take over, wherever they go. Sorry, I've been to the USA and hated every minute, there, too. Not for me. Never again......
Omg, Janice! I love you more and more each time I watch you. I MUST address the comment about Americans. I 100% agree with you!! I, myself, am American, and I was born to an American father and Japanese mother and raised in Japan. I’ve been living in the U.S. since 1993. My father chose to live in Japan because he could no longer tolerate American ways after experiencing life in Japan. I often cringe at our behavior!! We can be selfish, rude and obnoxious! I try to teach my children to not be abrasive. I love your philosophies!!! Stay the way you are!!!! ❤️
Thank you very much and I think also because when you travel more you see more and I think you have a little bit more of an education about how people are. I wonder if I could say more one more time lol

Wow, thank you for being so candid. I think one of the hardest things about aging is how easily overwhelmed I become. I honestly find it quite frustrating. I used to like the feeling of being able to juggle multiple things at once and now that just causes anxiety for me. It's inspiring that although you were overwhelmed and anxious you powered through. I think that's just what we have to do sometimes if we truly want to live out our dreams and have adventure in our lives. If we let our fears control our lives then all we would do is sit home on the couch watching tv. Good for you! And, btw, I LOVE seeing your animals in your videos! I find it very comforting.
I met you just recently and this video got me liking you even more as I appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. What you’re showing is that you’re human as the rest of us. Moving from one country to another is not as easy as it sounds. You’re one very strong and brave woman, your videos inspire me greatly. I can very much relate to you. Thank you Janice!
I have panic attacks. And I haven't died from them. I appreciate your candor on this. I'm gettin' out there and I'm gonna try to live beyond them! Thanks Janice!
I hope so and if you have a panic attack or you don’t seem to be able to work through it you can always email me PM me on my Facebook page call Janice in France and I’ll be happy to talk to you
Janice, don’t discredit your bravery and courage for making this big move. It’s truly inspirational. I also have a lot of anxiety and when I first made the move here I was depressed for about a year until it truly felt like home. Always enjoy your little chats and definitely enjoy your fur babies.
Another great chat! Thank you for your honesty! I had a couple of panic attacks at 19. I then found out my mother did as well. It seems it’s pretty common at that age, and for some, it continues. Good for you, arranging your life to be as positive as possible! 💐
So on a good note, you must've reached celebrity status when those recluse keyboard warriors are criticizing you. Take it in stride and as a complement. You be you, MARVELOUS!
Hi Janice, please continue the coffee chats. They are very helpful. Moving my cats to France has been the biggest reason I haven’t done it yet. It’s overwhelming to think about. Thank you for being honest about initially being depressed. You and your pets seemed to have settled in nicely. I hope you have a wonderful day. ❤️
Janice you are so brave moving alone to Paris and you are right remember to say no not please everyone with age we learn to recognise our limits It is also easy for me to be anxious so I really feel with you I lived In Paris myself for many years with my two daughters so many beautiful memories Love your corage
Thank you for your honesty and transparency! I am the same way and it helps so much to hear that I'm not the only one. Love your videos! Your place is just adorable!
You know, feeling anxious and isolated upon your arrival doesn’t make you less brave. In fact it makes you human and admirable that you stuck it out and things got better and will continue to improve as you settle in to your new life in France🙂🐶😻
Karen absolutely correct. Believe it or not after three days I was fine and then after my daughter left I was even better because it had been here a week and I felt like I was home
Janice, I am 66 and I think it is our generation, especially women who feel the need to people please. I am trying to change that about myself as well. I am widowed now for 10 years and recently dated a gentleman for several years. I love to dance and competed a few times. He did not like to dance and I let him stop me from doing that. How stupid was that to give up something I love. Well, no more! I broke it off with him and I'm dancing again. When my house sells this spring, I am going to dance my way to Paris, lol! Actually, I'll fly. Truly hope to meet you sometime. You are an incredible lady.
Please continue to share whatever makes your eyes sparkle. I've watched every single video you've made and I look forward to the next one. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Janice a new viewer here. Something about your sense of integrity caught my attention. The fact you both admit and laugh at your mistakes makes you so real. Got a totally unrelated question: do the Europeans, especially the French, coupon like some professional couponers do here stateside? I have one gal out of Atlanta who can coupon like none other than i have seen. She will weekly, of course getting what has coupons, even better if on sale as well, total at the register $150 +/_ and after all is said and done will spend about $25 out of pocket. Keep up the great work 👍.
My mother and late brother dealt with depression. I thank God I am the total opposite. I am an chatterbox extrovert. In2020 when we started working from home I got anxiety. Not knowing what it was, I thought I was dying. Due to Covid, I couldn't see my doctor in person. She was such a sweetheart and ordered all sorts of blood tests, including a head scan. Once I realized all was well, I started feeling better. ASMR videos on UA-cam helped tremendously. Thank you for sharing your story.
Really interesting vlog, keep doing and showing what you want to show, ofcourse you show your beautiful pets, they are part of your family and as a pet lover myself I totally enjoy seeing peoples pets on their vlogs,
Yes, you need to keep up coffee chat. Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned more about you. Forget about the animal haters!!! As you said, there are always those you can never please. I adore seeing your sweet furry roomies and the joy they bring you❤ You aren't alone in dealing with anxiety and depression. Thank you for being so open about your experiences with it. You are a joy to watch and thank you for just being yourself.
I've enjoyed your content very much. You're doing your own thing when so many other people on UA-cam are all just making the same videos as each other. Thanks for being yourself. It's so refreshing.
Thank you for your honesty. You are entitled to your opinions and don’t let any negative comments deter you. Please talk about your life in France in future videos, as you will never please everyone. Take care, Ralph
Great, very interesting and very honest video....I can relate. You are who you are and that makes all your posts and videos so wonderful. Thanks for sharing and please keep doing both videos and posts. Most of all thanks for the subtitles for those such as me. Take care...hugs and prayers always.
Hi Janice ( @Janice In France ) ❤ I so appreciated you being so honest about your panic attacks. I so identify with you! I’m going to be 64 on June 11 and I was 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 diagnosed with panic attack/anxiety disorder when I was 20 years old after going to every doctor and/or specialist for a one year and a half!! Back then, around 1978-1979, panic attacks were talked about and most GP doctors didn’t know anything about them, especially the older doctors. I was the same as you with feeling like I couldn’t swallow and went from 118lbs to 102lbs in 1 year. I saw ENT doctors, Gastroenterologists, heart doctors for those horrible fast and pounding heart palpitations. I wore a Holter monitor several times. I was finally diagnosed, after I just collapsed in a heap and couldn’t stop crying, and my long suffering GP checked me in to our largest hospital’s psychiatric unit. That was a wake up call 👀! I was barely out of my teens and I was with all ages who had mostly had their first psychotic experience or with teenagers who had tried to **** Anyway, a new Psychiatrist from NYC had just returned to her much smaller hometown to partially retire and she dx me immediately. I’ll stop this “book” now 😂 but, I would love to email you. Not with horrible stories of panic attacks but, just to be able to write more personal. Did you say you enjoyed getting emails? I know you probably get a lot now! I’m not sure if I know your address but, I’m sure I can find it (that is, if you’re still okay with emails). I really admire you immensely 😊. Anyone who’s ever suffered with panic attacks (even though they can be controlled by medication now Thank God 🙏🏻) who’s as brave as you are is my heroine ❤
Love your channel. When you talked about your depression when first arriving in France I want you to know that is completely normal. I was a full time military wife and I noticed as I got older and we got stationed in southern Italy I went through the same thing. You're changing your whole environment, time changes and culture shock. It's very different to travel and visit a different country but totally different to actually go and live in one. It passes thank goodness though.😉
I just love 💕 you. You make me happy 😊. I just turn 60 and life hasn’t been easy for me. I so wish I was as brave as you, I want to live my next year in joy.
Ohhhh Janice its so great to be part of your new life in France.I love the coffee chats.Today you touched on something that its really close to home ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS.My husband is suffering with these at the moment. We are following it up with doctor but it really affects our lives.Thank you for your honesty.
I have so much admiration for you! I'm Croatian and having been living in Canada most of my life, but always dream of going back and living in Europe. Again, I think you are amazing to make this kind of transition in your life! You are inspirational!
Love the Janice chat videos as much as the Janice out-and-about videos! It keeps things real and grounded. Love your candid replies to questions and sense of humour 👍😀❤️
What you described about arriving in France is very true for many people including myself. The beginning can be stressful and unsettling, which can bring on panic attacks, which I also struggle with. It takes time to settle in and get comfortable. However, once you do, it’s worth it! Kudos to you. You are very resilient and brave.
OMG!!! PLS.... JUST BE WHO YOU ARE!! You are perfect. I lived in Europe when I was in my 20s. From there I went to NY and when the weather became unbearable, I moved to CA. I'm in Paris/Amboise every year. Lets just live life while we're alive. You are an inspiration. Thanks
Thank you for your sincerity, dear Janice, it is so refreshing 🙂! And I would like to hear more about your everyday life: how often you go grocery shopping, about planning your meals, cooking etc...thank you in advance!
I just found your channel. Delightful. Thank you for your candid thoughts. I m 61 and I can totally identify. I especially appreciate your pleasant humor. More please.
Your honesty is very much appreciated. So much of what is shown on UA-cam comes across as ultimate perfection....and doesn't make an individual feel that they can relate as a human being. I too had panic attacks in my twenties and thirties...suffered from depression and anxiety in different strengths depending. So thank you for being you!
Well I do believe that we need to come across as being human in fact we are human. We are not robots and there has to be a reason why we’re doing this. And I just follow my gut when I do these videos about what I need to say what I don’t need to say or what I just want to say. Thank you for your kind words
I could listen to you for hours, you are so engaging, open, fun and honest. I'm an American looking to move to France and your videos are really insightful. Thanks so much for posting!
Thank you for sharing about your attacks. I got my first one at 48. I thought I was dying. I find that my body could get over stimulated by being around busy areas, even though I am from the city. I, too, am thinking about moving to France but not sure yet. I've been to Nice many years ago and I loved it. I am concerned about taxes with my modest income (heard about 30%). I don't know if I could afford living their with my 3 little dogs! I need a place with mild summers and mild winters. Any ideas where in France with this mild weather. New to your channel and thanks for taking the time for doing them. Peace to you.
Hello! If you are looking for mild summer and mild winters, I recommend Saint-Jean-de-Luz or Biarritz. These coastal towns in southwestern France are beautiful, vibrant, and won’t often get above 80° F in the summer or below freezing in the winter. I admit they are pricier than most parts of France, but most places in the South will be.
I think there would have been quite a sudden drop in adrenaline once you reached your flat ….coupled with exhaustion you were bound to feel a bit depressed . So happy that your daughter took care of you for the first few days settling in . Bravo chapeau 👌👌👌👌👌
Hi, JANICE, Loving visiting with you every day, thank you!! Your way of doing the little tours and the day-trips is so refreshing and relaxing. It may be because I'm older, I get a lot out of your comfortable approach. Others are too high-powered and fast-talking! I also want to LOOK RIGHT, rather than jogging! BTW I only go online on my PHONE, nothing else; love subscribing to you!! ❤❤
Janice, you ARE courageous. You are living your dream. Sometimes it’s not pretty and sometimes it is. The important thing is that you are doing what is important to you. ❤❤❤ Keep on keepin' on!
So true! Thank you Patricia! I discovered a new word that describes me to a T. I don't think I am as courageous as I am hard headed or contrary. LOL Thank you for following me.
I just read a short piece on Flaneur. The French way of wandering, sitting, etc to just enjoy instead of being to busy to enjoy. You addressed this with your friends visit on doing a little too much. I think this is a lovely French way of doing things. Sometimes less truly is better. I’m always amazed at how people want to dictate what a UA-camr should put in their videos. If I don’t like the content, I watch someone else. I was one of those who had a few questions. You answered them so graciously and I thank you for it.
Bonjour, Janice! I love all your videos. You inspire me about living life. I'm planning a trip to Paris next year. This is going to be my first time. I haven't been to Europe in 13 years, so I'm excited. Thanks again for sharing this video. I have a cat name Nylah, she's as cute as yours. I love dogs and cats. 😊😍😊😍
Moves, even small ones are incredibly stressful. I made an Insterstate move about 8 years ago and I ended up with Shingles from the stress . I was only moving 500 miles away but I was also travelling back and forth to interviews before the move and driving in horrible weather. It's a lot which is why I commend you on making this move.
Empaths are typically people pleasers and suffer with anxiety and panic attacks. I know the terror of panic attacks they never get easier - you are indeed brave Janice x
Sometimes the commercial part can lead to different directions. But as I can see you are a very truthful person. I hope you keep that way and enjoy your life fully there. 😀
Absolutely! I will never ever have an ad that is something I wouldn’t wear or purchase. I was fortunate to be given the purse but if I hadn’t liked it I would have returned it!
Such a change creates choc in our minds. I understand that very very well…you need lots of courage to do what you did! Such bravery I do not think I could do it. Continue as you do. Honesty is always a winner and I would stay far away from too much poisoned gifts 😁😁😁
Keep on doing the chats. Ur charming, a great story teller, and so sincere and honest. I'm almost 86 and thinking about visiting Nice for several months. Have friends from U.S. who just moved there in March; however, plan to stay at an apt. while there. I keep praying that I'll be able to make the journey. If I don't make it now, I never will. I'm so jealous of ur making France ur home now. In the short time that u've been there, u have acclimated beautifully.
Dolores, don't be jealous just try your best to make it happen. Nice will love you and your friends can pamper you and show you the sights. Let me know what happens. Thanks for following my channel and for supporting me by subscribing.
Janice, just listen to your heart. If it seems good, then do it; if it turns out to be not what you thought or want then stop it (whatever it is). 😘 coming to you from Virginia
Your honesty makes your videos even better! Why? Because it lets your viewers know (who might hesitate making the move) that yes, even if one experiences anxiety or another medical issue, moving should still be pursued as you are proof that accomplishing goals while managing illness is definitely worthwhile and surmountable.
LOVE your vlogs, I have just discovered you, I am an English, a Londoner, ex-pat living in the US, and I love your observations. Please always be honest, sincerity is always so important. I too suffer from anxiety and panic attacks since I was 23, I am now your age. I still get them. So, I understand completely. You were depressed when you finally got to the apt in your new life because it was a sort of anticlimax, I have had that so many times. You deplete yourself beforehand, with all the preps, and concerns, when it all over, its often a crash landing. Thank you so much for sharing all this with us. 😍
You're 70 years old and you've earned the gumption to do whatever the heck you want. Your platform is your personality and we enjoy it. So there. You do you! 🤍 Sharlene in Texas
I love hearing about your experiences in France of course....but whatever you talk about, you make it interesting and relevant..you are a wonderful communicator..so I vote that you talk off the cuff about things that matter to you..
You go!!! Speaking up takes COURAGE! Your authenticity is REMARKABLE!
Thank you so much
The older I get the less I care what people think. I love it. Love you love your pets always do what makes you happy
Thank you Janice

Thank you for all your kind words!
Wow! Thank you! Those are very kind words!
I have panic attacks. And I haven't died from them. I appreciate your candor on this. I'm gettin' out there and I'm gonna try to live beyond them! Thanks Janice!
I hope so and if you have a panic attack or you don’t seem to be able to work through it you can always email me PM me on my Facebook page call Janice in France and I’ll be happy to talk to you
I love seeing your pets! Keep on doing that! I liked your apartment tour video. It was great!
I certainly will and thank you so much. I love doing my apartment tour
Janice, don’t discredit your bravery and courage for making this big move. It’s truly inspirational. I also have a lot of anxiety and when I first made the move here I was depressed for about a year until it truly felt like home. Always enjoy your little chats and definitely enjoy your fur babies.
Thank you so much and especially your kind words
Hi Sam - nice to see you💌
Another great chat! Thank you for your honesty! I had a couple of panic attacks at 19. I then found out my mother did as well. It seems it’s pretty common at that age, and for some, it continues. Good for you, arranging your life to be as positive as possible! 💐
I’m still trying thank you for your kind words
So on a good note, you must've reached celebrity status when those recluse keyboard warriors are criticizing you. Take it in stride and as a complement. You be you, MARVELOUS!
Thank you so much I do appreciate your words

Hi Janice, please continue the coffee chats. They are very helpful. Moving my cats to France has been the biggest reason I haven’t done it yet. It’s overwhelming to think about. Thank you for being honest about initially being depressed. You and your pets seemed to have settled in nicely. I hope you have a wonderful day. ❤️
Thank you when you get ready to bring your pets over let me know maybe I can help you out a little bit
@@JaniceInFrance thank you Janice. If I move I’ll take you up on that. ❤️
❤
Janice you are so brave moving alone to Paris and you are right remember to say no not please everyone with age we learn to recognise our limits
It is also easy for me to be anxious so I really feel with you
I lived In Paris myself for many years with my two daughters so many beautiful memories
Love your corage
Oh wow you must tell me what it was like then. Thank you for your kind words
Hi Janice. Loved the chat. You really know how to tell a story. Im enjoying going on this journey with you and look forward to your next vlog. 🌹
Thank you so much
Thank you for your honesty and transparency! I am the same way and it helps so much to hear that I'm not the only one. Love your videos! Your place is just adorable!
Thank you I appreciate your kind words
Well, when you get to Paris, let me tell you about a place in Paris that they go and dance by the seine every Saturday night it is fabulous!
Thank you so much for your kind words
Please continue to share whatever makes your eyes sparkle. I've watched every single video you've made and I look forward to the next one. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Thank you so much French
The true mark of a fabulous teacher is the ability to fly be the seat of your pants!!!!
You must be a teacher
Janice a new viewer here. Something about your sense of integrity caught my attention. The fact you both admit and laugh at your mistakes makes you so real.
Got a totally unrelated question: do the Europeans, especially the French, coupon like some professional couponers do here stateside?
I have one gal out of Atlanta who can coupon like none other than i have seen. She will weekly, of course getting what has coupons, even better if on sale as well, total at the register $150 +/_ and after all is said and done will spend about $25 out of pocket.
Keep up the great work 👍.
Thank you!
Thanks for being a new viewer.
No coupons
I like the variety of both chats and info about living in France. After all, variety is the spice of life!
It’s interesting that you mentioned ASMR videos I’m getting ready to do one myself but it’s going to be a little bit different than some of the others
I’m so glad I found your channel! I love your spirit, and hoping to get over there before too long.
Thank you so much for your kind words and I hope you get over here soon too
Really interesting vlog, keep doing and showing what you want to show, ofcourse you show your beautiful pets, they are part of your family and as a pet lover myself I totally enjoy seeing peoples pets on their vlogs,
Thank you so much!
Janice you are brave, transparent and inspirational! Despite your anxiety, YOU did it! You followed through with the move. Super cool and courageous!
Yes I did but you know if you have ever had a panic date you know it is an easy but thankfully I had my daughter
Hi Janice, please continue your Chats! Thank you for sharing! Kathy
Yes, you need to keep up coffee chat. Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned more about you. Forget about the animal haters!!! As you said, there are always those you can never please. I adore seeing your sweet furry roomies and the joy they bring you❤
You aren't alone in dealing with anxiety and depression. Thank you for being so open about your experiences with it. You are a joy to watch and thank you for just being yourself.
Thank you for your comment and I do love to have coffee chats and I really do want to get back to doing more of them
So many people are distanced by miles or emotions from family, friends and community. Your frankness and sharing is much appreciated. Thank you! ❤️
You’re very welcome Sheri thank you for your kind words
I've enjoyed your content very much. You're doing your own thing when so many other people on UA-cam are all just making the same videos as each other. Thanks for being yourself. It's so refreshing.
Thank you so much I’m trying to stay authentic
Thank you for your honesty. You are entitled to your opinions and don’t let any negative comments deter you. Please talk about your life in France in future videos, as you will never please everyone. Take care, Ralph
Thanks Ralph
Great, very interesting and very honest video....I can relate. You are who you are and that makes all your posts and videos so wonderful. Thanks for sharing and please keep doing both videos and posts. Most of all thanks for the subtitles for those such as me. Take care...hugs and prayers always.

Love your honesty, Janice--and your hair!
Yes, great haircut!
Thank you
Get your sponsors and keep it going!! I'm enjoying following what you are doing so much!!
Thank you
Hi Janice ( @Janice In France ) ❤
I so appreciated you being so honest about your panic attacks.
Thank you so much and I still have them every once in a while
Love your channel.
Absolutely Jennifer you are correct
No, don't stop! I love hearing what you have to say!!
I just love 💕 you. You make me happy 😊. I just turn 60 and life hasn’t been easy for me. I so wish I was as brave as you, I want to live my next year in joy.
Puppacino I hope you do…. Just take one step at a time.
I hope life is better for you now! 🌻😊
Love this honest, warm and friendly conversation! Thanks so much!
Keep talking to us from your heart.
There’s no other way to do it. Thank you so much.
Janice, you are a tonic! Thanks for keeping it real and revealed… I’m learning from your journey and look forward to my own French living adventure x
Thank you
I loved your live video! I think you should keep doing them.
Then I certainly will
I love seeing your blogs Janice.... Always just like sitting with a great friend having the craic...Thank you so much, you are such a gem 💍 💕💗💕
Well that’s a whole intention and that’s what I started this to be like is if someone was sitting in my living room when we were just talking
Yes it does! If you ever need to talk, please reach out to me.
I have so much admiration for you! I'm Croatian and having been living in Canada most of my life, but always dream of going back and living in Europe. Again, I think you are amazing to make this kind of transition in your life! You are inspirational!
Thank you for your kind words! Well if you truly want to move back start making small plans. I wish you the best.
Keep the chats they are great! Thanks for sharing your panic attacks I have same problem but with daily sertraline no issues.
Janice, I love that your fur babies are a part of your videos!
Thank you
Janice thank you for your chats and sharing your life in Paris . The mixture is great it gives a idea if one moves too France 🇫🇷
I love your coffee/tea/glass of wine chats. Still an inspiration for me. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much
Love the Janice chat videos as much as the Janice out-and-about videos! It keeps things real and grounded. Love your candid replies to questions and sense of humour 👍😀❤️
Thank you this is good to know so that I can keep on doing them at least every end of the month
Here with my tea 🍵 so let’s tea chat 🙏🏿💗.
I love your nails 💅🏻.
Ok
What you described about arriving in France is very true for many people including myself. The beginning can be stressful and unsettling, which can bring on panic attacks, which I also struggle with. It takes time to settle in and get comfortable. However, once you do, it’s worth it! Kudos to you. You are very resilient and brave.
But I’m not sure how brave because I’ve been lost many many many times it’s just finally I have it down.
you hair is gorgeous! thank you for telling us your story.
You are very welcome did you ever hear the story of me adopting my daughter

OMG!!! PLS.... JUST BE WHO YOU ARE!! You are perfect. I lived in Europe when I was in my 20s. From there I went to NY and when the weather became unbearable, I moved to CA. I'm in Paris/Amboise every year. Lets just live life while we're alive. You are an inspiration. Thanks
Thank you so much for your kind words
Thank you for your sincerity, dear Janice, it is so refreshing 🙂! And I would like to hear more about your everyday life: how often you go grocery shopping, about planning your meals, cooking etc...thank you in advance!
Katarina, I’m getting ready to do something similar to that but I’m waiting to get my haircut on Tuesday because right now I look like a sheep dog lol
I just found your channel. Delightful. Thank you for your candid thoughts. I m 61 and I can totally identify. I especially appreciate your pleasant humor. More please.
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching. Were you able to subscribe?
Please keep this up. I love you and everything about you and your new life. I’m 75.7 and your inspiration is exactly what I need for my next chapter….
Thank you so much, and I certainly will
Your honesty is very much appreciated.
You’re very welcome stay tune I have some information to you about me going back trying to get my residency
Thank you so much for your kind words
I’ve enjoyed listening to you…and yes. Keep doing the videos

Hello there👋🏻👋🏻😄
Nice Comment..
@@christopher4326 Thank you
I love your authenticity - just being yourself and being honest about who you are. You go!
Thank you
Thank you for sharing about your attacks.
Try the south of France! Will be doing videos to answer your questions soon! Keep dreaming… make it happen
Yes Mrs. Shaw I am thankful for her also. I never thought about the drop in adrenaline but you are correct about that
Hi, JANICE,
Loving visiting with you every day, thank you!! ❤❤
Thank you so much Paul for your kind words and thank you so much for subscribing to me
Dear Janice, thank you for your honesty and transparency. Take care.❤️
Thank you Shirley
Janice, you ARE courageous. You are living your dream. Sometimes it’s not pretty and sometimes it is. The important thing is that you are doing what is important to you. ❤❤❤ Keep on keepin' on!
So true! Thank you Patricia! I discovered a new word that describes me to a T. I don't think I am as courageous as I am hard headed or contrary. LOL
Thank you for following me.
You are very welcome
Bonjour, Janice! I love all your videos. You inspire me about living life. I'm planning a trip to Paris next year. This is going to be my first time. I haven't been to Europe in 13 years, so I'm excited. Thanks again for sharing this video. I have a cat name Nylah, she's as cute as yours. I love dogs and cats. 😊😍😊😍
Hopefully you’ll look me up when you’re here and we can have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine together
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with anxiety & depression. I have struggled too.
Yes it’s always with
Moves, even small ones are incredibly stressful. I made an Insterstate move about 8 years ago and I ended up with Shingles from the stress . I was only moving 500 miles away but I was also travelling back and forth to interviews before the move and driving in horrible weather. It's a lot which is why I commend you on making this move.
Yes, it is. Thank you so much.
Empaths are typically people pleasers and suffer with anxiety and panic attacks. I know the terror of panic attacks they never get easier - you are indeed brave Janice x
Thank you
Sometimes the commercial part can lead to different directions.
Thank you I appreciate that Claudine
Thank you buttercup from Virginia
Your honesty makes your videos even better! Why? Because it lets your viewers know (who might hesitate making the move) that yes, even if one experiences anxiety or another medical issue, moving should still be pursued as you are proof that accomplishing goals while managing illness is definitely worthwhile and surmountable.
Thank you
LOVE your vlogs, I have just discovered you, I am an English, a Londoner, ex-pat living in the US, and I love your observations. 😍
Thank you so so much
You're 70 years old and you've earned the gumption to do whatever the heck you want. Your platform is your personality and we enjoy it. So there. You do you! 🤍
