Hi my fav traveling duo! The markets are one reason I want to visit London…cheese heaven! Look at that salt beef sandwich!😮so many different foods in one marketplace. Food coma central but worth it! What is that sausage roll? Looks appealing…What no tartar sauce for fish and chips? Do I need to bring tartar sauce along my arsenal of hot sauce in my bag now?😅Awesome to see all the people in the market enjoying themselves seems almost back to normal…thanks for sharing! I’m so basic when I go to borough, roast sandwich and bread ahead donuts them to neals yard for cheese. I used to work on park st so had to go through the market twice a day, so much temptation. Glad you found some tasty treats.

That's the thing with the Food Halls in London. Not a lot of seating. It's all designed to do you daily/weekly lunch and/or dinner shopping. You take it home and you've got a ready made fabulous meal!

Just back from London too went to borough market and bought the fish and chips and the sausage roll as welll as other bits, oh and tried the mushroom risotto , so glad you enjoyed ❤

I love a good old fashioned sausage roll. Heavy on the pastry and medium on the sausage. No need for anything but the pork flavor, fat. The best!

Really enjoyed this video and seeing all the different foods. The fish and chips looked very good, surprised such large pieces of fish every time you have had it on this trip. You have to go back again soon! Have you seen any memorabilia out and about for King’s Coronation?
Agreed, huge Fish (& Chips) compared to what we typically get here around us. Didn't see anything related to the coronation, at least in the areas we were at.

I want tartare sauce even if its not needed. I prefer haddock too as I feel that cod tends to make the batter slightly soggy.
nice. really liked that sausage roll and the fish at the end. variety of fun offerings and unique to that country and what is available there. fun way to spend time. also, unlike usa food courts, those offerings all looked to be private venues and not a chain.

I had to laugh when Bill thought rhubarb was a berry. Being from Iowa, it’s plentiful in the spring and summer. Love it too. I’m sure I’d be the same way on different fruits and veg. not grown in my little part of the world. I’ve learned so much from you two .

I'm with you on the oysters Bill! I loved the chargrilled in New Orleans at Drago's so that made me brave enough to finally try them raw in the steakhouse on a cruise. Nope. Nope nope nope. Like an explosion of slime in my mouth. Didn't exactly taste bad, but that texture..nope. nope nope. At least now I know! I didn't make it to Borough Market yet, but on the must do list for next time. Looks like a foodie paradise. I grow rhubarb in my back yard. Comes back every spring.
Yup, no raw oysters for me either. lol At least you gave it a try.
I love Dragos its really good. I typically don't eat Louisianian cuisine at restaurants because my family and I cook all of that, but dragos is good .
@@kekeindi Agree...one of the best bites of food I've ever had really. I tried them at another restaurant in NOLA...no good. (looking at you, Creole Cookery). I see Emeril's on the Excel class have them, curious to find out if they're any good!
