Strangely this would've been the only Austin Powers game to not be another game repainted then sold as an Austin Powers game. It's a real shame greed quickly killed the video game business for this franchise.

I think I adore these simply for the fact of how novel they are, how they never would have been made in ANY other time period than the brief window they came out in, just before smart phones.
There absolutely is something to be said for these existing in a pre-smart phone world. I just wish they spent as much time on the proper games than they did the PDA style functions.

The Austin Powers gameboy games, according to Issue 12 of Total Gameboy Color magazine rated Oh Behave! and Welcome to my Underground Lair were rated at 97%! Nope, there is no decimal point.. this game, according to that magazine, rated higher than any Pokemon game..
@@loadcartoons They're very similar and by the same devs, but I'd argue Kiss is worse 'cause they didn't even bother to license any of their songs for the soundtrack.
The main mini game 'kin evil' I thought was pretty fun, definitely a good challenge, I know I got pretty far and there was some definite frustrating moments

I mentioned this in the stream once but the most baffling thing is that on the back cover of the box you can see that it says "Collect all 4!". It looks like they actually first planned to release two more games from this collection. Who would have gotten the treatment for their own game? Fembots?

I knew about one of these Austin Powers for years, I kinda forgotten which one to be honest. I loved the movies myself, I never got to play any of these games. It doesn't mean I didn't play another famous unholy license trilogy, South Park. Now I'm kinda glad I didn't lol. Let's hope Limited Run Games doesn't bring either back. Sadly they previously done so with some famous bad games.

Ugh, glad I hadn't heard of any of those. The only good way imho for them to have made a game based on Austin Powers would've had to have been something like Goldeneye 64 or GTA 3/Vice City but with a comic edge for that matter. Might've worked imho

Played doctor evil gbc game after my second GBA only twice i tried to sell it 6 times before I tossed it as someone who hates destroying physical media from a property that I enjoy it hurt but licensed games are made wrong nearly every single time
