A wild Hank appears ETA: Hitting the story beats in an adaptation is so important. If Beth lives, it's not Little Women. ETA2: Kitty as a cat is my very favorite thing.
I always assumed that Lydia gave a ticket to Jane, because Jane would come to be supportive of her sister, and Lydia would be happiest if she was hanging out with both of her sisters.
Mary in this series is so great and having Kitty be Lydia's cat is literally perfect. I can't believe they were never intentional because they both just make so much sense as what they are
I agree with you Ashley that it's better to be acting a different character than being yourself on a video especially with an audience. I'd hate being me on camera with an audience but to be a character I'd be fine
I think I discovered The LBD around that time. I search “Jane Austen” on the search bar and it was one of the top results and I started to watch. I had no idea who Hank Green was.
Episode 26 will always be special to be because it was the first one that I was watching in real time after my friend introduced it to me and we binged it the weekend before...and then I was obsessed and watched them as soon as they came out and got into interacting with Socially Awkward Darcy on Facebook and writing fic about Darcy and Lizzie 😂
I am loving this series so much! I remember watching these when they first came out not being able to wait for the next episode. And here I am again 10 years later feeling the same way about the look back diaries! I also have a strong memory of a very short video made of Lizzie meeting Hank for the first time but I can’t seem to find it. Did I make that up?
There's a playlist called "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries - A Complete Playlist" by a user called "starlight" that has all the Q&As in it as well as all Lydia and Gigi's videos :D
I have the randomest fact about this video that I cannot help but share. At timestamp 1:08, on frames 19 through 23 of that second, Lydia's Vidcon badge is visible on screen and so has been whited out to conceal the fact that Mary Kate didn't have a fake "Lydia Bennett" badge. HOWEVER, on the 11th frame of that same second, you can just barely make out on the very bottom of the frame an "M" on Lydia's badge. *gasp!* Totally ruins the suspension of disbelief! I'm also interested to know how much of an additional hassle it was to get not only a fake badge for Ashley, but also one for Max that said "Rick Collins" (a character whom we had not previously met).
Jane's line about needing to keep things respectful always took me out of it a bit - maybe it's a cultural thing but I don't think it would be disrespectful if Jane and bing shared a room haha. I do like that you kept the Netherfield plot line though!!
Is it really so weird to have five children? I have 3 siblings so that is 4 children and I am not alone in circle of my friends who have 3 to 5 siblings. I mean, yes, part of them are christians just like me but part of them are not. And good for you that you added Mary and Kitty. The actress who plays Mary is amazing and I liked her character so much. And she had perfect chemistry with Lydia. But I admit I was always surprised that Mary and Lizzie are not better friends because they looked like they would at least on paper very similar and I would presume that they are very close. That was kind of surprising to me. I also do not know Hank and find this through looking for adaptions.
Haha, yes, there are five kids in my family, and the number of people who get that shocked look on their faces when they hear that number is so funny, but to me, it feels so normal and natural and how could I even imagine my life with less siblings??
No shade to other actresses who've played Kitty in different productions, but we know Rosie Wiles is The Superior Kitty Bennet
I'm so glad we ended up getting Mary! Her and Lydia's dynamic was such a wonderful part of the LBCU (Lizzie Bennet Cinematic Universe)
Whoever's doing the subtitles - I love and appreciate you.
I will make sure she sees this 😊
🥺 😊
I second this! Loving the running commentary in the captions, too! She says what we feel, and it's perfect!

i assumed charlote did organise 3 tickets for she lizzy and jane often get togeather and jane was ment as the support
Thank you to Sophie for the subtitles, so that they are now disentangled from the captions on the original episodes 👍
you are welcome! unfortunately, i don't have much control about where youtube puts them, but i hope they're not too confusing.
@@starophie I really appreciate it! Anything you are trying with the captions is great. Thanks for making these videos more accessible
ok but getting ambushed anywhere in OR near the bathroom would freak me right out, like damn people, is nothing sacred? XD

Neither did I, before I got hired.
Okay, please turn on the captions, they're very funny!
i try my best

No you're not making it up! It's in a QnA video

Oh and Maria Collins's too!

Literally unwatchable! *FLIPS TABLE*
I wondered if the others had fake badges too or not!
I love the comments about people not having 5 kids because I am actually one of five kids. It’s okay, I know my parents are weird lol.
Hank: it's weird to have five kids
Me, the youngest of five: he's right, it's too many 😂
I went to Catholic school so I knew several bigger families…

@@MoonKent exactly, you sum it up perfectly...
