Thank you for understanding our car culture, Hank. I couldn't have said it any better. I've had some really fun moments in traffic (spontaneous dance parties), and generally, if you are using your (auto)body language to signal and assert that you are going to make a left turn with 6 lanes of traffic, people are usually super cool and will spot for you and wave you on when its safe.
It's so weird to hear you guys talk about Kroll and Mulaney and Birbigs before they were famous because that NYC underground comedy scene was such a magical time and so many people came out of that, but its wild to think about people outside of that bubble looking in when it was just a bunch of people doing $5 comedy shows in the East Village and LES. First time I ever saw Nick do stand up, no one clapped for him so he proceeded to thank the audience sarcastically for 7 straight minutes. I miss those days so much.
The sentences that come out of Hank's mouth in regards to the guy from his hometown that owned a lumbermill gave me such whiplash I feel like I got comboed in a fighting game
I was making chai tea when they mentioned chai tea in the dinosaur bit, and I was about to play the game Portal when they mentioned aperture laboratories. Strangely immersive podcast episode for me
Just to mention - in the UK you don't have to get your license in a manual (stick shift I think Americans call it), but if you don't then you are only allowed to drive automatics. The vast majority of people get a manual license, including me despite every car I've owned being an automatic
Hank saying the thing abt the la drivers is so true cause like they drive SO MUCH most of us are good drivers but there are so many that there are more bad drivers in comparison to a smaller town

I'm not a close follower of Hank, I knew he lived in Missoula but it's just crazy hearing someone famous talk about this relatively small town from my part of the world. Missoula is beautiful and definitely a place worth visiting!
1:32:24 "a little fraud-curious" was such an underappreciated joke and i need everyone to know that
Flyana Boss coming in half way through was CRAZY lol not on my bingo card at allllll
The boyz AND Hank? Wonderful Friday treat
THE FLYNABOSS AND SAD BOYZ CROSSOVER 01:01:21 🔥🔥🔥
love to see hank as always, and holy shit the flyanaboss surprise was wild
HANK GREEN ON SAD BOYZ?? ON MY BIRTHDAY??? wow... what a blessing
happy birthday!!
@@Me-vn3gz thank u sm!!
Happy late birthday!!
The fact I have watched, now 4, podcast episodes with Hank Green as the Guest, in one day, blows my mind.
was literally watching this just smiling and nodding along to the banter when Jarvis brought up that they all had the same birthday- and then said friggin May 5th! I have never met someone with my cinco de mayo bday and there they had all three of them together. I got way too excited knowing some of my fav nerdy crushes share my bday, so thanks for that!
I cried on the day I found out he had cancer, I’ve been following hank for like half my life, I was so very impressed with the way he handled it and educated people about it throughout the whole process. I think the Greens have really impressive character as individuals and I’m glad that they’ve been in my life. I really did not need Hank dying on me in 2023, glad we get to keep him for a while.
jordan is so fucking funny, especially this episode. i seriously can’t handle it
This ep was awesome, it reminded me of times I was chilling a bunch of my funniest friends and we just all couldn't stop laughing
I don’t know why I’m still so astonished when I see Hank Green in any context that isn’t SciShow. Maybe because I spent so much time in high school binging SciShow and now it’s kind of like that feeling you get when you see your favorite teacher in any context other than the classroom?
It’s a fascinating combination of shock and delight and I really should stop being shocked because Hank obviously has a wide range of interests and has become famous enough to go out and play with all the different areas of interest and let us come along for the ride when he wants and that’s pretty awesome
I loved seeing flyana boss learn that in this ADHD-ridden podcast you have to cut people off alot to get a word in (everyone has a million words at any given moment) IT WAS SO FUNNY
As someone who is also trying to study for drivers permit and similar age to Jorden, I appreciate y’all talking about it. ❤
Love the sleepover energy when all five of them are there.
I loved this episode! I absolutely lived for Bobby and Folayan's energy, and it was great to see Hank doing well during his remission. Very insightful content as always! :)
god this episode was so good, just such nice vibes all through out. may be my new favorite
Fully didn’t expect flyana boss to come on, what a cross over. Listening as I walk to the train station with a weird smile on my face 😅
this episode was so chaotic, im delighted
HANK GREEN??? (in the style of "BEYONCE?" Tiffany Pollard meme, upon getting this Sad Boyz upload notification)
Ive just made the internet venn diagram where one circle is Hank and the only other is Ify Nwadiwe - as Hank shows up in a corner of the internet i was expecting to see Ify first since Jarvis mentioned they know each other 😂
insane collab
Thank you for understanding our car culture, Hank. I couldn't have said it any better. I've had some really fun moments in traffic (spontaneous dance parties), and generally, if you are using your (auto)body language to signal and assert that you are going to make a left turn with 6 lanes of traffic, people are usually super cool and will spot for you and wave you on when its safe.
Never in my life did I think I'd see the hank green jarvis collab
But I'm so glad 😭
when y’all said “special guest” they were not who i was expecting but my jaw DROPPED i was so excited
Love watching this the day after the Safety Third episode with Mr. Green. Hank Green podcast guest content turns out to be exactly what i needed lol
he should be a guest on dear hank and john, the 3rd best brother podcast
It's so weird to hear you guys talk about Kroll and Mulaney and Birbigs before they were famous because that NYC underground comedy scene was such a magical time and so many people came out of that, but its wild to think about people outside of that bubble looking in when it was just a bunch of people doing $5 comedy shows in the East Village and LES. First time I ever saw Nick do stand up, no one clapped for him so he proceeded to thank the audience sarcastically for 7 straight minutes. I miss those days so much.
Hank Green Sad Boyz AND Flynaboss??? This is my favorite episode in a while
The 4 lane merge with no signal is called the New Jersey Slide.
It's called a Tokyo Drift in the East
Flyanna Boss!! Wth! I love them sooo much they had me up on stage at their SXSW Sydney Show 🥰
I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO TANGENTS ALL DAY AND THEN GOT BLESSED BY THIS
The sentences that come out of Hank's mouth in regards to the guy from his hometown that owned a lumbermill gave me such whiplash I feel like I got comboed in a fighting game
chinasaurus has gotta be in one of my top 5 SB moments now lmaoo
Y'ALL GOT HANK FREAKING GREEN, WORLDS ARE COLLIDING (in the best way!!!)
I have never been this excited for a collab in my whole life so far. This is as iconic as Bill Nye swearing.
Hank saying the thing abt the la drivers is so true cause like they drive SO MUCH most of us are good drivers but there are so many that there are more bad drivers in comparison to a smaller town
Omg Hank Green from my favourite recently completed season of D20,,,,,, (
Jordan would be so chaotic on game changer.
Dinotopia was created by James Gurney and he still makes UA-cam art videos. He was friends with Thomas Kinkade, the famous cottage painter, and they worked on the Ralph Bakshi & Frank Frazetta film "Fire and Ice" as background painters.
this ended up being an incredible panel in the middle of the episode, what a meet of the minds
Seeing Flyana boss was a surprise as all hell. Loved seeing them though! Very strange podcast! Nothing short of entertaining.
Hank saying that the flat earthers are "doing the best with what they have" is the sweetest and wittiest roast
