- The F-250 has received some changes from Ford for 2023. One the outside you will discover the blackout pkg, 20in wheels and fixed running boards. On the inside you will find an integrated infotainment system and plenty of interior room. Under the hood is the 6.7L turbo diesel V8 that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2023 Ford- F-250 Super Duty XLT a new truck WORTH the price?

76k for an Xlt is ridiculous, all of fords trucks are pretty much 70-80k no matter how you spec them, we need to stop truck companies from price gouging us, this is enough😤

People in other countries don't get to have trucks like this. Truly a monster. How many people need to tow 40k lbs? That's a lot of stuff. 8000 lbs weight and this isn't even the F-350 or 450. Truly trucks have grown so much in capability that they are approaching big rig power. Nice fat tires. These things last a long time. The F series is Ford's key product, and they have been paying attention to what people need and want.

76K (probably along with a markup) for a XLT trim!?!? At this point you got to practically sell your soul to afford one of these trucks and still live.

Honestly the best value trim is the STX. you get blacked out trim, body color bumpers, rear parking sensors, 360 degree camera package, upgraded wheels and a few other things for under $60K

It doesn’t matter what value you get for $76k, it is still $76k and most people cannot afford that today.
Until the manufacturers realize they are well above the affordability ceiling, these trucks will sit. Can’t feel sorry for them or the dealers as they have been gouging us consumers since Covid and are still using that as an excuse as to why prices are high.

Joe, this F-250 *IS NOT* towing 40,000lbs.
That would be the dually
F450 can Tow almost 60,000 I went to a dealership a few weeks ago test drove one with a 5th wheel equipment package so Joe is right it can Tow 40,000 with a Gooseneck Package Equipment . You ask your local dealer for the proof

I don't have a new 2023 model I was guessing a estimate as a figure of speech my 2021 F450 can Tow about 35,000lbs I surely don't have that 6.7L H.O that has 1200lb of Tourque that for Sure she good for 2 years old. I only used it for hauling my Classic 1971 Ford Thunderbird 4 Door (Suicide Doors) with a 429 SC JET V8 no rust after retirement of my 1985 Ford F350Lariat had for 35 years

Very nice truck. I'm considering buying a similar spec to haul a truck bed camper, except I'd get the 7.3. The powerstroke is absurdly overpriced and totally unnecessary for my needs. Truth is 99% of non-commercial superduty buyers don't need the diesel, but that doesn't stop a lot of them from blowing $12k on it. Great review!

Don’t like that front end or lights.. last yrs headlights look sooo much better … looks like these have loopy loops around each light.. naw.. GMC and Chevy front ends looks way better imo.. just a farm truck , but does farm trucking well, rust and all lol

@@introvert4everfreddy656 I like the King Ranch, Platinum and Limited as well only in the F150 Package in 2024 there no longer a Limited in F150 but you get in a Platinum Plus if I want the F250 -450 Super Duty I stick with the 2020-22Models which I have the 2021 King Ranch Edition with the Tremor Package

I think ram and Ford are the best trucks I have on both, but they’re so darn expensive these days for a truck they are nice, I have a new ram 1 ton I love the truck but I’m so scared to put a scratch in it and I use it for work But these trucks are getting close to $100,000 in the base models are getting close to $80,000 it’s totally insane, I try to keep my trucks for about four or five years and then I get a new one so it’s under warranty I wish they could build a work truck that has airbags adjustable electric mirrors that move in and out for towing easy to clean interior etc. etc. at an affordable price it’s really getting out of hand, how can the average hard-working guy afford these trucks? They are nice though!! thanks for the video👍

I bought one too. Well a F350. Very impressed. This is my 8th new truck over the years. It is by far the best one so far. Just seems huge compared to other years.
They have gone price crazy on these new trucks and they dont even outlast the note anymore

A XLT was 50k to 58k max in 2021 with the same things ( used to work at Ford)

That's not a base XLT. A lot of the stuff not available on the base XLT. It's got over $6300 in options. The headlights, the 12" sync are all not on the base.
Hmmm... 40(k) lb towing capacity sounds nice... but is it enough to pull the amount of debt it's going to take to finance this thing? Also, the major downside of a truck this big is that it's harder to hide from the repo man, as it probably won't fit in the garage at your rental apartment.

Pretty sad that the big 3 are selling trucks at such high prices. Wait until it needs to be fixed. An oil pan gasket (20ish dollars) replacement requires half the truck be disassembled to the tune of 5K. Sad but true! The Godzilla has lifter issues leading to catastrophic engine failure. Keep your service log guys! Ford is my go to brand, but I'm really turned off by what I hear/see/read regarding recalls AND I'd pay 76K. In my opinion, it's not worth the price or the hassle to buy a new truck.

My 2021 F-350 Carbonized Grey STX FX4 7.3 V8 is paid for with only 22K miles . No thanks 😊 Geez at least in 2021 I got a spray in bedliner 😮😂 Diesels today are so plugged up they don’t make no diesel sounds . The only sounds they make is a vacuum cleaner sucking sound from your bank account when the EPA crap goes out after warranty! 😂
