Hey everyone! Yes, some of you might have seen this already elsewhere, but these next few months I'm gonna be trying out some new things in new ways, and that includes clipping out segments from the most recent TOP FIVE video to see how they stand on their own.
Long time subscribers might have noticed this video isn't titled 'A LITTLE LOVE FOR' like previous under-ten minute videos have been: that's because this is likely a one-off run of individual videos to bridge the gap between major 20+ minute WHY I LOVE videos in 2023. I have no intention of continuing these super short videos beyond the next few months, and I don't plan to bring A LITTLE LOVE FOR back either. This is happening just to pop something up that I'm proud of that's gone by quietly until the heavy hitters start rolling in soon.

To be honest, I was skeptic about this new shorter "videoessay" (?) format, but loved this one! You shared your enthusiasm in less than 5 mins, and your point about Aloy being in love with the gameworld making us more connected to the game is spot on.

well done. 100% agree. This series is very near and dear to my heart and is such a special series. Like you, everything about this series, the universe, the characters, the messages and the themes - just clicks just right with me. In the span of a year (since I first played ZD last Feb), this has become my absolutely all time favorite game series. And Aloy is my favorite game protagonist now. The series does not get the love it deserves.
Bailey, I agree, but you need to play Devil May Cry 3 to fully experience what video games can do.
Looks gorgeous, still on the fence as open world fatigue is definitely a problem for me rn.

Cap! Yes, its beautiful and has better gameplay. But the repetitive, dull, unispired, monotone and/or ridiculous story plot, side quests, characters (especially Aloy) are so bad.
