@@paulrawsonjr.2423 That's very true, but I feel like if I ever yell *it's laser time boyyyys* while playing a table-top RPG my virginity would grow back, my wife would leave me, my glasses would grow thicker, and all bullying in the world would become retroactively justified.
I will never forgive this show for ending in the worse cliffhanger possible: The Corporation gets a chip that makes all of their normal robots self aware, which was their whole objective from episode 1 and eliminates ZZ's sole advantage. And then the series ends.
A downer ending for sure. Of course, self awareness opens up the RM bots to rebelling against the bad guys. ZZ could have been thwarting his own means of victory all along. Or they take a third option, and the RM bots turn on ALL humans.
It's funny to me as much crap as anime gets for this kind of stuff, american shows especially cartoons did it constantly. I hated when shows did this especially after 40 freaking episodes.
I am pleasantly shocked we've gotten to Bots Master. It gives me hope for other odd gems from the era deserving the spotlight, because at this point being featured on Toy Galaxy is an immediate and definitive stamp of approval as something special.
King Arthur and the knights of justice would be another good one. And i know a Conan the adventurer episode would be hilarious like the rambo or robocop ones just because of the source material and how non kid friendly it is

Captain Simian! I'd forgotten about that one. Pole Position was also mentioned in the video, another great theme tune, has there been a video on that one? Conan also had a great tune. Prince Valiant and mysterious cities of gold were also favourites of mine.

I remember getting ready for work in the mornings back in the 90's. And watching "Bots Master" and "Xuxa" before I left. Coworkers wondered why I always had smiles from ear to ear, and I was to afraid to explain why. I could hum a tune from BM and mentally picture what I saw on "XUXA".
Bots Master is some AMAZING cyberpunk. Sadly, the first season ended with a great cliffhanger finale, but...that was it. We never got the planned second season. :(
YES! Thank you Toy Galaxy for this video. I loved this show and wish it was available to purchase. I only ever had a ZZ figure and he was always at the forefront during playtime. He now sits proudly on my desk.
I loved this series as a kid, we definitely didn't get that many episodes over here, the BBC seemed to keep cycling the same few episodes, and the 3D glasses prompts were edited out but still, cool robots fighting evil robots? What's not to love?

I know that he worked onthe openings animation for Cat Dog and Angry Beavers and worked hard on the confetti for the Hunchback of Notre Dame CD game, which surpassingly was reused for the film (copy/paste to save production time I guess). Also worked in the Ace Ventura CD game.
This was the best child cartoon of the 90s. I always got hype to watch this before being dragged out the door to school. Very suggestive, with Zip Zulander, being the greatest voyeur protagonist ever, lol. this show needs to be rereleased on dvd

Tch! One of the most fun toys and tv show from that time. Im from 84.. i grew with transformrs,tmnt,saint seiya and zz. I was a lucky kid and had a endeless toy/magazine colection of all those series. This toy line was the best one! They wore perfect in everyway! ❤❤❤

Even though I was a bit old for this show, I still liked it in grade 9, and would watch it early in the morning before school. I liked anything with robots in it!

First Turbo Teen and now this. Another chapter in "Did that show actually exist or did I make it up." Also I never had the glasses but always wondered how the 3D effect was supposed to work since it didn't look like the typical red/blue 3D used everywhere else.
Being unable to find the figures when I was a kid, I remember researching 3D effects and just wound up doing the single-lense sunglasses trick. Take that, Toy Biz! 🤣
