Had no idea that the common eco-friendly themes of the time were a result of government regulation. Makes a lot of sense. Even as a kid I remember thinking all the shows had a similar theme, and now over 25 years later I know why.

I mean, the Clintons were in the White House during that period. If modern day Hillary is why would indicator, they just loved being in your face about how “humanitarian” they were.

In 1995/1996 when I was four, my local supermarket had a book display that was filled with these short hardback books for various cartoon series - my mum bought me one whenever she got paid and we would always read the book together when she got home. I collected all six books of the Biker Mice from Mars series this way. They were only simplistic adaptions of key episodes of the TV series but I loved them at the time and they definitely had a positive impact on my love of reading. Damn, didn't expect this nostalgia trip. I feel like calling my mom all of a sudden. Damn you ToyGalaxy.

...and that's not including the plethora of various Batmans and vehicles, Toy biz Marvel stuff, and the Real Ghostbusters Ectos and Firehouse.. (I'm not even gonna start on the Power Rangers toys/Zords)... but I digress.
Yeah having them crossover was standard like the Marvel or DC universes.. We even had the traditional "everybody meets each other for the first time and starts fighting each other" episode.. Slammu was kicking ass till Raph kicked him in the dick! XD

*The best thing about this show is you know Dan runs off screen giggling to go play with his action figures.*

That reminds me I have one of those biker mice from mars action figures where you pull the cable and the bike goes running. I also own the video game :P

Videos like these are the reason why I subscribed to your channel. 😊( nostalgic sigh) The 90s were a good time for kids growing up.
Those anthromorphic cartoons you mentioned, I remember thinking up crossovers of those shows. I used to imagine the TMNT, Biker Mice, Swat Kats, Street Sharks, & Extreme Dinosaurs teaming up against some common enemy or something. Never thought to write it any of it down though, I didn't know there was a thing called fan fiction back then.
And the funny thing is, Avenger Penguins was aired here in the Philippines. I watched it but don't remember much about it except that: it was British, they focused more on comedy than action, and the theme song, which was really catchy.
Really, it's playing in my head right now as I'm typing this. 😅

Not as good as Rock 'n Roll Racing (which used the same format), but still a solid racing game on the SNES.

I was into the original series when it was on TV (later in my country, I'm pretty certain it's either '95 or '96). I didn't see the complete series bc school, and because we didn't have a VCR player/recorder. I never knew it was rebooted, thank you!

I love that franchise. It was more than just a TMNT clone (which made it better than Street Sharks). The toys were cool. I like how the series evolved when it came back. It's a shame those never fully aired in America. I do like that they are committed to keeping the show on UA-cam until a DVD happens--which is long over due.

And I would love to see new series with Biker Mice from Mars one for kids and one for adults

Edit: Plutarchians, plutocrats, I finally get that now.
Growing up in the 90's I had so much hope that humanity would get it's act together with environmental protection. Now it's 2021, I'm depressed and jaded, California burns every summer, and Texas is frozen.

Holy Space Balls! That Throttle Blazing Cycle took me back. I begged my parents for that thing for my 10th birthday and was so happy when they got it. Not even a week after my birthday I took it to school and was trying to show it off. Well I had it on a bench outside and I ripped the cord. It took off off the bench hit the ground and snapped the head right off. I was devastated but tried to act cool like it was no big deal so I laughed picked it up and went about my day like nothing happened. Being a kid is a weird time lol. Thanks for the memory Toy Galaxy.
