Thank you so much for this video, it gave me the confidence I needed to just do it. It worked perfectly. I used the same 2 wires from the bose amp but grabbed them from under the rear passenger kick panel. No need to remove that rear seat. Thanks again
Yeah it works. Up to you on the ANC. I think if you want the best sound you should buy it. I noticed a difference with the stock sub Bose but if you turn down bass on stereo and turn up your aftermarket sub you should be fine without it.
I’m not sure what I did I followed instructions as instructed and for some reason my radio won’t come on it will light up but won’t show anything on the screen
I have a 2016 Sierra with the stock Bose and subwoofer in the front console and am getting the jl Stealthbox and keeping factory head unit. As far as remote wire goes, you’re saying you don’t have to run any remote wires from the front to rear at all? Not even to the amp besides the remote out going from the lc2i to the amp? I have the lc7i and the subthump harness for the stock Bose amp.
I just used the lc2i and send the power signal to it and I didnt run a remote wire. It has a setting where the lc2 can turn on the amp whenever it has power such as a door opening, etc. Since the stereo turns on when the door opens, I don't think it makes a difference either way. Its just up to you how you want to do it.
Hey one question to hook up the lc2 would u need a remote or no ? And also do I use the remote on the lc2 to turn on the amp for the subwoofer or is that another wire ?

Did you buy a t harness?
@@DennisHudson9 nope just an old scosche speaker audio lineout converter
What colors go with neg - and pod +
Glad it worked out!
i’m not getting any power running through it after plugging in the lc2i
Going to try this method its a money saver. Should i buy the active noise cancelation harness?

I have mine hooked up the same but bass won’t start kicking in till about half way volume is up ?
Sounds like a signal issue or amp/power problem. Try turning up your amp
So you didn’t use a t harness?

It could be a software issue with the stereo. Maybe check forum for version
Does the LC2i need its own power or does it get power by tapping into those Amp wires?
Did you run the remote off of the factory harness/amp?
Could I connect an Amp for my door speakers and another amp for my subwoofers with that set up ?
2 amps should work fine. You prob need to find the actual speaker leads though for your door speakers

There's a setting on the LC2 (GTO) that it will get its signal from the Bose amp. You will need to run a remote out to the subwoofer amp
So you directly hooked up the RCAs to the negative and positive from the stereo harness ?
no. you need a line out converter. it takes speaker/subwoofer signal in and converts it to rca out for your amp......
Did u use a converter for the stereo ?
Nothing more than what is in the video
I think this won't send a signal below 30hz
Possibly. That’s pretty low. For most people 60hz is acceptable
