Lennox was great, it's a shame they didn't make him a regular. Even if he was just a Nag's Head occasional character like Mickey Pierce and his friend.
My children discovered Only fools on horses a few years ago, at one point they were effortlessly reciting the lines. I needed to persuade them to watch a couple of classic episodes, and then they were hooked. You don't get comedy like this now. Simply pure Gold.

...and then theres Boycey with "Mickey Mouse has a Roderny Trotter wrist watch" and my personal favourite when Del and Roderny try to chat up two tennis yuppies and one asks roderney which he prefers, grass or astro turf, and he replies "I dont know Ive never smoked astro turf..." Well, the title of the show does imply that none of the main characters would choose to do a day's work if they could think of any alternative scheme to make a few bob :)
Absolutely fantastic comedy. All these years on and it still makes me laugh out loud. The writing, delivery and characters all combine in such a wonderful way
Love the respect Lennox has for del and vice verca the connection with Lennox's mother. dels character he has real people skills a real geazer that gets on and has time for all people

one of the only shows I can watch many times and never get bored of it, always makes me smile and laugh unlike today's garbage... this is quality... legendary... classic... pukka.
I love it as it's so different from the other episodes, not only is all filmed entirely away from their flat but the hilarious Vas Blackwood makes his one & only guest appearance, as does the late John Bardon who a lot of people know from EastEnders :)

One of my favourite episodes. Good plot, and some hilarious lines. Uncle Albert: "You'd better let him answer the phone, son. It could be his wife." Rodney: "Yeah! She's got entrecôte rioja!" Lennox: "Oh. I'm sorry to hear that." xD
To be fair OFAH used to get repeated so often that it was losing it's shine, even to fans. But yeah the last decade or so they've gone the opposite direction and you never see it on the BBC schedule anymore.
the BBC recieved so many complaints that the Ombudsman was involved and the BBC charter was reviewed. now instead of re-runs we have reality TV. So in short the older generation gave the TV to the youth.
It's a small world, I remember seeing this guy working as a manager in McDonald's in the early 2000's in the west 12 shopping centre when I was at Peacocks. No one recognised him.
Not possible...because that would have to have been after ‘Lock Stock & 2 smoking Barrels’ which was in the 90’s, it would have made him too famous to be working in McDonalds in any capacity.
