Great Video. That Utah Sand will wear you down. Down in the Swell Area, I took the GSA. I was beat the next day. The sand in Utah seems softer. Thanks for taking us along. Looks like a fun ride.

great ride, I was thinking that if you lay down that bike on one of those inclines, you are done until someone helps you to pick her up

Great vid! Thanks for sharing...hope to see that in person one day...not sure I'd ride it BUT I would definitely drive it or hire a driver so I can just take in the views.

It’s a mistake to crawl through sand. Speed is your friend in sand. It doesn’t have to be crazy speed, but enough you don’t sink so bad.

Thanks for sharing your video. It goes a long ways to knowing what I will be up against. It looks like standing is mandatory for a lot of the ride. Could you recall what percentage of the time you had to stand on the pegs? Thanks again for your informative video 👍👍

Glad it was helpful! I would say about 60-70% but I was moving a bit faster as I was unsure how long it would take me to complete.
I could have greatly reduced standing by moving a bit slower and still completing the route by sundown.
Take your time, fantastic ride with amazing scenery!

Hello, and great video. I really need to do this. Definitely a bucket list ride. You mentioned “registration”. If my bike is registered for street use, I assume I do not need a permit to ride off-road? Is it the same in AZ?

Unfortunately “White Rim Trail” requires all vehicles traveling to have plates.
It’s in a federal park so they make all kinds of rules up to make it difficult.
Things may have changed since I filmed this a few years ago.
They limit 50 vehicles per a day and you can only register 24 hour prior to your trip
      This is in Utah

Very cool to see it all in one go like this. That sand/powder, doesn't look fun. One day I would like to go do that ride, and maybe camp part way.

It’s a great ride, camping halfway would be fun.
The sand is what wore me out.
