I'd love to see a comparison vid of the Victory arrows ( any of them) vs the cheapest Chinese arrows they sell on Amazon. That should be fun! Nice rundown Steven. Thank you.
I like confidence & practice with purpose. Do u understand that if a cheap arrow explodes as u release the string & it goes through your arm what the best case scenario is? Best case is that u don't hit the large bone in your forearm & the arrow exits which leaves u with 2 holes in your arm. When trying to attempt to hit targets beyond 70 yards with a recurve u need 1 thing. Better carbon that is lighter with a higher proprietary in performance & durability.
If the Pandarus are heavier and slower causing them to drop and hit low on the target why are the knocks on them pointing down? Surely those shafts should have the knocks pointing high.
I highly recommend to visit Anthony and his YT shoreshot archery. Hes done alot of testing on vanes and also different arrow shafts. He's videos and conclusions are very educational.
@@mrpickles3479 Although I’ve never used spin wings they look kinda flimsy to me. It would be an interesting comparison if Brady would compare spin wings vs. helical at 70 meters.
Yeh and no one knows why. If they tested they would struggle to see a difference. I'm talking vanetec fita or similar. 0.3" high, 1.5-1.7" long , 5-7 grains in total 3 vanes. Or Aae recurve wave vane, 5.1grain in total 3 vanes.
@@garymickus6412 from the small testing i done myself. My straight fletched catched alot of sidewind so arrows drifted far as 5 or 4 ring on windy days. But helical makes the arrows stay inside 9 in calm days and inside 8 on windy days without adjustments. Also changed arrows from 325gr to 260grain. So fps increased from 180+ to 200+ .
Hi Steven. How about testing the Pandarus against the Skylon 3.2mm ID arrows, for recurve. I always had better results with non barrelled arrows. I now have a Chrono and will be testing both VAPs and Paragons with Uukha limbs and some new Nika limbs I just got.
I for one am very interested,in seeing the overall results from the panduras arrows....it's time the X10 had some cheaper competition... Steven keep up the great reviews ...🙂
The Victory VAP's along with the Blackeagle X-Impact's which come standard in the .001 tolerance is what I'm waiting to see. I was able to make up a few of the X-Impact's to compare to my VAP's. They r hunting arrows with alot of weight up front but the X-Impact's with a 250 spine weigh about the same as the VAP's do with a 300 spine. VAP's aren't offered in a 250 spine. If Steven was to shoot both those arrows with a 400 spine from his recurve things could get very interesting 🤔.
I have had the x10 Protours for about a year and half of them are bent from shooting into foam targets.I am never shooting an aluminum wrapped by carbon shaft again.Carbon either breaks or it is straight. The aluminum carbon arrows will bend and you won’t know it.
Watch this back bud when your shooting the victory arrow you threw one out and high right if you watch thr shot was You completely different your hand did not flow straight back underneath your chin It explains where the arrow was gonna hit high into the right but the other shots are just fabulous bro you're doing great men looks real good I really think you could be a serious competitor at the Olympics or anything I mean you are really good
Sorry but what is the issue with not shooting spinwings? To many amatures trying to mimic the gear of Olympic gold medalist's. X10 weight 325grain and my current carbon arrow 260 grain. 65 grains added weight has huge impact in arrow flight then any recurve vane will ever cause. No spinwing will ever fix that arrow drop at 70m
I shoot Paragon off my compound bow and think about get a set for my recurve. My main grief with the Paragon is that they make the hand quite dirty with carbon dust. Significant difference to the ACEs or x10s I shoot, too. Bad (no?) coating i guess. How is that with the Pandarus ?
I just made up a dozen VAP's so I hope you're not going to trash them! How do you determine how long to cut arrows for compound? If I have to put them all in the gold before I move back, I'll never get past 18 meters.
Good luck for the tournament tomorrow Steven 💪🏹
Best product review on YT! Great attitude “testing, never take recommendations”

Do you understand almost all arrows are made cheaply in China?

Nearly all the Olympic archers I’ve seen use X10’s and spin wings. Interestingly Jake Kaminski shoots plastic vanes with an extreme helical.
I use helical plastics, I don’t like those spin wings as from what I’ve seen they are as strong as egg shells….

@@mathiashammar1 let’s do a test comparing all the helicals vs. same amount of spin wings. Use a shooting machine to eliminate the human element.

Hi Steven, I tried Skylon Paragon arrows on my bow and they were wonderful. Please do the same test between them and victory VIP arrows.

Although I can't afford the aluminum carbon clad shafts, I thought they can bend as any aluminum arrow would.

Steven try Brady Ellison's Spider vanes, tested them before against XS wings and spin wings, Spiders were better than spin wing
What specifically about them did you find was better mate?
i use pandarus x10 with spinwing to shoot 70 mts is a really good arrow 🙂
