Allies getting more victory and slowly liberating many countries as well as Europe. Nazi are losing battle. They began using Sungewehr(Sungun) to stop Allies advancing in Africa, Middle East and Europe. They don't care if they hit civilians populations. In retaliation, Allies launch a nuke into the space to destroying Sungewehr. With no more option, the Nazi activate a portal to escape a dying Earth(escape their mess). Half of German populations try to relocate into other dimension to escape Allies. However, the world that they open is not our(timelines) Earth but Hell dimension instead. Yes, Hell from DOOM. BJ fought Esdeath/Hitler in hell including other demons. BJ destroy the portal, trapping all the Nazi(including half of German populations) in Hell. Demon: Oh, look! A human soul for Argent Energy. Nazi: Uh oh...... And that's how WW3 end. Post/Aftermath? We developed a lot of weird, strange, "futuristic" looking stuff in WW2. We just never did anything with it because it was either too impractical, had many flaws, or was too expensive to realistically mass produce. Much of which was simply too late in the war. USAF had a bomber with "hidden" wing mounted gun defense turrets and Allies were very capable of making jet engines (more reliable ones too) but it wasn't pursued as it wasn't seen as a necessity. For example the amount of .50 cal MGs on the bomber turrets, I can count 3 guns per mount in a quad mount. That's like, incredibly unnecessary even if it's very possible.
@Right sector The U.S. Had two P-80s in Italy During the war, that never saw combat, and the Meteor's service was limited to say the least. This is a reference to a STUKA that was shot down, seconds before the plane exploded on top of the Rhine the paratroopers literally jumped out of the plane with parachutes, they put their hands up immediately after landing on the ground.

It's an alternate history setting, not an actuall WW2 game. It's pretty solid, set in a world where nazis have taken over the world and you're a member of the resistance.
Like Pootis Pencer said this game takes place in an alternate timeline where the Nazis used advanced "secret technology" to win WW2. The game itself is somewhat heavy on the sci-fi so it's very detached from real history.
Actually, at least a few prototypes were produced, subsequently found and tested by the allies. One airframe remains in a museum, but I couldn't tell you where off the top of my head
What I especially love about this game is how some scripted events happen as if i was still gameplay, mainly how when something explodes nearby or someone stabs BJ, he actually loses health and player has to find a medkit after a cutscene.
In Youngblood it is revealed that this game takes place in another dimension. Where Axis won the war. Kinda like in the Man in the High Castle. The difference is that in the High Castle all Axis powers governed their territories in peace. While in Wolfenstein Germany betrayed Italy in 1949 and Japan in 1952.

An extended period of controllable helplessness as the enemy absolutely shreds you and your forces to pieces, until you finally make it to the enemy and can start giving some of that punishment back. I think controllable helplessness kind of describes the entire opening. The whole attack force is wiped out, most of BJ's squad is killed, and BJ himself is wounded and rendered comatose, leaving nobody left to stop the Nazis from conquering the world.

We need a Wolfstein game based solely on the Daa't Yichud lore. Set timeline to before the Great Flood with a technologically advanced human civilization. Then explain how survivors of such cataclism founded the Daa't Yichud.

_In Wolfenstein: The New Order: Shrugs off multiple volleys of 30mm shells from a flight of Horten Ho-229s, and getting crashed into by another B-17, and yet still manages to stay in the air._

The plane segment at the start reminds me of all the D-Day missions that have been made for various WWII games, mostly Medal of Honor Allied Assault and Frontline.
