If you haven't already, go download the free PDF I made about my rig. It took me too long to write for people not to read it 😂 www.chrisbuckguitar.shop/gear/
Chris, I saw you and heard you for the first Time in Paris. Your performance as a band and as guitarist was awesome. The band is quiet young but already promised to have a long path. You have impressed everybody in the venue. Whish you a big success and pleasure.
Always love when Chris offers a rig rundown, but then I remember that he makes absolutely everything sound fantastic. Love the story about needing your rig to lose some weight. That's the life of a touring musician.
Hi Chris, I saw you and Cardinal Black in Cologne on Nov 22 as support act for Myles Kennedy and it was amazing. As Myles stated later, you are one of the best guitar players out there. Even a broken string in the first song couldn‘t distract you. Thank you and your guys for the beautiful music and for putting a smile on my face.
@@alexcrouse Fender has stated they will not repair ToneMaster series amps nor supply replacement boards. They will replace entire units if under warranty, if not under warranty they are headed to the landfill. FWIW, I've been building and repairing guitars and amps since 1979.
@@TwangThang57 Only if they go faulty. Mine is over 4 years old now, been gigged regularly. Would have probably spent a couple hundred on tubes by now. If they were going faulty a lot we would have heard about it by now after nearly 5 years since the first deluxe reverb tonemaster came out. Every Fender tube re-issue coming out of the factory , has the cheapest IC caps which are destined to fail in a few years, and none of the hardwear is tightened from the Factory making reliable grounds. Nothing is what it used to be.
The more the years goes by, the more i love your touch, sound and everything that goes with it. I'd love to try the fuzz with the 2 amps simultaniously, must be so crazy. Thank you for posting
Chris, you are such an inspiration. I really enjoy listening to your solos - the feeling, the tone, the vibe… you got them all. Please tour in France, Bordeaux!!!
The Pannucci came across on your video as more expressive for that song than your playing with the Revstar, albeit that was great as well. Wonderful stuff Chris!
That Tonemaster sounds great! Much better than I expected. Please bring the Concert to The Tramshed though, and that new Victory, let’s have 3 blasting!!!
Amazing feel and touch . Reminds me a little of Garry Moore but definitely your own thing going on , your playing is instantly recognizable as it is with all the greats . 💪
Hey Chris! Incredibly rewarding to see/hear you trusting and playing the ToneMaster Bassman! It is the final statement that, if approached without any prejudice or bias, the ToneMaster amps, and especially the Bassman, are great tools to make music, with their flexibility, absence of tube manientance, reliability and ultimately, TONE. The Fender guys will go crazy! And me personally, super happy, since the Bassman uses our beloved Jensen Alnico P10R speakers! Thank you!
Wonderful! Thank you Chris! Very interesting and good to have the comparison of these two amps. However it would also have been nice to hear them together with each pedal as well as separately. Btw, the youtuber “Millstap” also says the Super Reverb + Tweed Bassman are a great combination!
Thanks for playing as supporting act for Myles Kennedy in Cologne! Admired it! As I did when you played at the Luxor in March! Liked the sound of your LP style guitar. Didn't manage to catch a pick, but one off the crew members hand me your playlist for Cologne. Thanx for that.
Loved you Guys at 013. You are live as good as on record, a rarity. And that he lets you Guys play in as supporting act says everything about Myles, But also about you guys as a band.
Such a huge guitar sound, but it doesn't drown out the rest of the band--you can still hear the vocals, bass, drums, etc. Very nice, complimentary sound in all respects.
Damn! That new axe is BEAUTIFUL and sounds bad ass! What a build! The Bassman reissues are the best pedal platforms there are and they sound 3D. I’m sure the tone master is no different
I tried picking up a Tone Master Bassman with my little finger; I could do it, however it was a struggle ... and then I realised the attached price tag made it really hard to pick up, so I had to leave it in the store. But I really want one. I like the power level rotary switch on the back (it's a pity that Fender didn't make it a 'stepless' control and put it on top as a master volume knob).
Tonemaster fan, cream deluxe playing on the Gulf Coast under extreme heat snd humidity conditions. Never a problem and lives in the trunk of my car year round.
Hey Chris, it's the last Byron Bluesfest ever next Easter her win Australia and I do believe that you should be coming over and playing at it. Jus' sayin' !!!
I watched your first rig rundown just before the gig in Paris, while waiting in line outside of the venue. I knew there was something different about that amp and I was 90% sure it was a Tone Master (especially by how easily you picked it up with one hand).
Panucci Guitars are amazing. I know the builder (Angelo van Merrienboer) personally, he was on my guitarfair (the Noorder Gitaardag) in the Netherlands many times with his instruments! Nice guy, great guitars!!! I only wished I bought a '59 long ago, when they were still affordable! And he had this nice prototype guitar a couple of years ago that he didn't want to sell to me. 😊 BTW, love what you are doing, Chris!!!
Ah, but this is interesting indeed! I heard you say that your Fender concert blew up? Does the tone master in comparison meets your expectations compared with the concert or is it a whole different thing all toghether in combination with the Super? Anyway enjoyed Tilburg very much and best of luck with the rest of the tour! Cheers from Amsterdam!
Downloaded the rig PDF.. Another clue to the Signature is the development of your current pickups with Yamaha.. Like your sound out of Tone Master / Revstar combination..👍🇦🇺

Love seeing you back on the Tube 🎉
For me, Chris is still one of the very best expressive guitarists of today!
If not THE best...👍😉
@@geoffebuckle6754 👍
No one comes close....
Agreed. Such superb playing that it makes me feel inadequate 😂
100%. The Welsh are famous for their singing voices but how Chris makes the guitar sing is a beautiful thang!
That Tonemaster sounds fantastic. Very impressed.
These tonemasters will be in a landfill within 2o years. My 66 deluxe reverb gets handed down (for the second time)

Chris is the thinking person's musician! Great tone, he knows how he got to it and can clearly explain it! Priceless!
lol what does that even mean
That LP sounded freaking amazing live in Tilburg when I saw you guys. Great performance!
Today's playout was mind blowing!! It just kept getting better and better! Amazing!!
The success that is happening today to your group and to your career makes me smile
Really glad that beautiful people like you are succeeding
Rig sounds cleaner and more has more clarity. Really like the change
Always love when Chris offers a rig rundown, but then I remember that he makes absolutely everything sound fantastic. Love the story about needing your rig to lose some weight. That's the life of a touring musician.
Thanks for the clip and the jams man. Good luck to you and your band, you're doing bloody amazing.
Damn, Chris you continuously inspire and leave me in awe. You are my number one guitarist out there today.
New video, new amp, and I see you have new boots too!! Awesome seeing you again and hearing all that wonderful guitar tones!!
I’m glad you’re still making videos! Hope you make a truck load of money! Happy Holidays!
Sounds great and saves you from years of back pain!! Chris your phenomenal
Thanks for the last 2 updates Chris, always really interesting. Saw you all at Falmouth, superb gig and thanks for the pick.
sounds amazing!!
I have loved to see your bandmates' joyfully embracing every moment of your soloing at the end
Panucci sounds fantastic as does the rig
Outro - wow. Incredible licks. As for the tone master, sounding pretty bloody awesome

I been genuinely blown away with the tone master series. I haven't heard a bad word about them from everyone i trust.
Except for the fact they are unrepairable landfill fodder.
@TwangThang57 only if you don't know how to fix them...

@@TwangThang57 that's just a profit driven decision. They are not "unrepairable". Fender just chooses to not repair them.

WOW that solo and the tone. Great

Warm tones for a cold autumn morning !

Simply the best rig rundown ever! Wow mate that was fabulous!!!
I have the Bassman Tone Master and can confirm it sounds great !
Tied up in blue is your best solo and one on my top 3 alltime list. Glad you're showcasing that lead more and more on your channel.
That Tonemaster sounds great! Much better than I expected. Please bring the Concert to The Tramshed though, and that new Victory, let’s have 3 blasting!!!
Ha! Absolutely.
Well people I had the pleasure to go and see Chris Buck & Cardinal Black only a few weeks ago 🙈 absolutely brilliant. Thanks for a great night.
If ToneMaster is good enough for Chris Buck… it’s good enough for me!
I was going to say...Fender had to be popping champagne bottles when they found out he'd be using their Tonemaster.
2024 porsche 911 is better then 1970 porsche 911.. theres no question
I've genuinely missed these videos @Chris Buck. You should do a patreon at some point, I'd pay to hear random thoughts on gear from you.
Dude you are the GOAT!
Good thinking Buckmaster.

Love his solos
Fabulous as always Chris, thanks! 👍❤️
Wuau man! You play so good, really special and talented! What the honor and what the guitarist!
I just tune in to hear Chris play guitar. Then there is the tech rabbit hole of comments. Love it 😂
My home rig is a Vox ac10 and tonemaster twin and they work great together.. Pretty affordable fantastic sounding stereo rig. Cheers, sounds banging.
Thanks for this video. I have been considering Tonemaster. It is time.
Good Lord that opening solo was incredible!
Wonder which amp he was using?
Duuuude that Panucci is SICK! Now I feel like I gotta have an R4 style Les Paul. Oh nooo
Killer player, love your work man

Each good solo is also not possible without the band providing a dynamic backing, kudos
Awesome as always

Awesome man!! Rock on!!!
Killing it man!!!
Saw you in Bath. It was genuinely incredible ❤
That Bass-man sounds AMAZING.
New sounds and new boots! :)
Sounds great!
You are one of my favorite guitarists, that Bassman Tone Master does sound good, I am surprised at how good it sounds thanks Chris
Such a huge guitar sound, but it doesn't drown out the rest of the band--you can still hear the vocals, bass, drums, etc. Very nice, complimentary sound in all respects.
That super is incredible! 😊
That huge pedalboard must add 1/4 of a tonne to the van load 🤣🤣🤣.
Look forward to seeing you play again soon, with the lightweight set up next time👍
Umm.. yeah , I think it's safe to say that right totally rocks! Excellent clean tones. Great video on how to show a guitar rig!
Amazing show at Paris last Saturday 🤩🤩
Awesome combo. My gigging combo late 90’s was 72 super reverb paired with 1991 batsman reissue. Great sound. Still have that combo!
Great sounds!
I’m glad to see the HX STOMP XL I just bought one and I’m running into the effects loop of my tube and its awesome 👍
Dave Simpson did a great video of the Bassman he bought , it’s a monster !! Great end to a superb year for CB , all the best for next year !!
Damn! That new axe is BEAUTIFUL and sounds bad ass! What a build! The Bassman reissues are the best pedal platforms there are and they sound 3D. I’m sure the tone master is no different
Brilliant playing as always. Must say they Panucci Ox Blood tone is abs superb. It sounds so much better than the Revstar.
Always so tasteful, bro 🔥
That Panucci 😳🖤

I literally just left a guitar store after playing into that amp for the last two hours. What a great amp!
Lucky him! The guy you are touring with. Amps sound great but you know that. Thank you.
the bassman sounds great. i have a 59 reissue and love it.
Sounds awesome! I just got a Tone Master Twin Reverb and I was blown away with how good it sounded! Awesome amps. 🖤👊🏻👍🏻
Amazing playing…
Super sounds Killer!
Bassman kills it!!! I need one!
Great sound great taste!
Yeah, the super reverb still sounds so much better, imho...but the two blended together sound nice.
The Bassman has a tighter low end and nice definition and contrast to the Super Reverb that compresses more. Sounds great!

The Penuchi looks exactly like Becks before he put hbs in it. Sweet!
@3:13 Panucci, '54, '55 or there about. But is has '59 on the headstock :P. JK, just brilliant playing and rundown as always!
