When I was in jail I made myself a rosary and a St. Michael chaplet so I could keep up my daily prayers. One night during my first week a dude asked to see my rosary so I showed him and he was very happy that I had 5 beads leading from the crucifix (i.e., a Pater Noster, three Ave Marias, then a Gloria). He said he had a vision from Mary and she told him that the fifth bead was important and to always dedicate it to her honor. I think that was the story anyway, his English wasn't too great. Regardless, I always say a special prayer to Our Lady after that first Gloria and before launching into the mysteries since then. Always catches my eye when a rosary doesn't have the fifth bead. Anyway, this is a super cool project. I'm making one for myself right away! Deo gratias.
This is by far, one o f the BEST rosary making videos EVER!! The documentation, editing, explanation....all on point. You can feel the love being put into these precious spiritual talismans. MAHALO soo much! God bless all of you, makers, viewers and our world...
My Uncle has a birthday coming up soon and I was going to buy him a rosary, but I'm going to try making this for him! I think it'll be even more special since its hand made by me! Hopefully he'll love it! God bless you all!!!
For those interested, you can search for Our Lady's Rosary Makers. They have the tool used here and beads and various and sundry things related to rosary making, as well as instructions, etc. They're a non-profit that exists to support such work and they've been around forever.
For a slightly longer rosary, try using spacer beads, especially between each Hail Mary. Alternatively, a tiny knot between each bead to keep them separate. I personally find this makes the rosary easier to pray with because it makes each bead more pronounced than when they're squashed together as many wooden rosaries are. I find myself losing count. Also, I would discourage using a rosary solely as jewellery, especially if it has been blessed and/or made for the primary purpose of devotion. But that's just me. Nice video. I, too am "knot challenged," Isabella. I haven't made anything this good yet.
Great video! Well produced and well explained. You have inspired me to try to make some myself with all of the paracord sitting in my drawer! May I ask where to get the beads and crucifixes from?
It might be that the “stuffed paracord” is a bit to “fat” to use for these rosaries? Maybe the “unstuffed paracord” just makes it easier to make the knots, and is better at keeping the knots from coming undone? That’s my guess anyway.🤔🤔🤔🤷♂️
Hi there. What do you do when you want to put in a center piece for the Hail Holy Queen? Can you please show one with this? Thank you. Take care and God bless.
hello, is there a address to send the rosaries, i have a lot that I made and I would like to mail them out...can someone get in touch with me please...
I was born/raised catholic & understand the teachings of the RCC. This is what God writes in the Greek/Hebrew bible that's not deleted from or added to: Ex 20:4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth below or in the sea..." this is the 2nd command that the RCC removed from their bibles bec they turned from God's teachings in order to make up their own, which in this case, is to pray to a female creation of flesh instead of to God. remember Saul? the 'believers' wanted to serve a king of flesh instead of God. “For there is one God, and ONE mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Tim. 2:5.( RCC says Mary & 'saints' are) "Is God a liar"? Isa 6:3, "In vain, they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of MEN" Mt 15:9; God saw the false 'believers' in his own day who worshiped by 'tradition' instead of by the laws of God. Prayer that is repetitive that a person repeats the same phrase over and over as some sort of formula is not biblical. In Mat 6:7 Jesus says, “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words” Jesus considers this practice empty, devoid of faith. ‘empty phrases’ means to babble, or repeat the same things over and over mindlessly as the RCC teaches its people to do (with the rosary, Litany, Gregorian Chants) When God speaks it is to be obeyed "as it is in heaven" not 'as it is in the RCC. The bible does not say, "except for any 'appearance' Mary may make". God said: "Believers go to the grave at death, where they "sleep" until the resurrection" (I Cor 15). God never contradicts himself which means no one knows 'who' might end up in heaven OR hell. So WHY is the RCC praying to dead human's? That also means that (according to GOD) 'Mary' could never have appeared on earth. The Bible plainly says that "no man has ascended up to heaven" John 3:13 & "All have sinned" (Rom @, & "no one is truly righteous" Rom @. U teach RCC doctrine that contradicts God's word! Who did Jesus tell the Apostles to pray to? To "OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. Mt 6:9. Explain to me WHY RCC wants to pray to the dead, to a female, to creations, that may be on their way to hell? what arrogance! I was born/raised catholic, I understand the teachings of the RCC. I study from the Greek/Hebrew Bible that hasn't been added to or deleted from as the RCC has done w/their bible. I've read the truth with my own eyes & no longer can b fooled w/contradicting God. "Is God a liar?" Isa 6:3, or is man a liar? "No man can serve 2 masters for either he will hate the one, & love the other; or else he will hold to the one, & despise the other. You cannot serve God and the world too." Mat @...remember, the world 'will' pass away - the traditions, sacraments (that are all unbiblical), but "God's Words will NEVER pass away". Mt @. Pls, explain 4 me, what facts r u standing on w/the RCC that prooves that RCC teachings r above God's word?
I have watched a lot of rosary making videos and this is the best. No unnecessary talking and easy to understand instructions. thank you

Thank you for YOUR service!!! But, where were you back in 1970-1990?!? Again, thank you!!!
Does a 'round paracord' type material have the same method outline as the 'flat cord style' used in this video? Excellent tutorial btw ✝
Great video! Well produced and well explained. You have inspired me to try to make some myself with all of the paracord sitting in my drawer! May I ask where to get the beads and crucifixes from?

I am wondering why you are using gutted paracord instead of full strength military paracord?
Wondering that, myself?
Less thick, perhaps?
where is a good place to buy a large spool of 1000+ ft of good paracord from?

Maria W Good morning, My name is Teddy Molnar. By chance do you make custom Rosary's? That I might be able to buy.
Teddy Molnar what kind of rosary are you looking for?
Teddy are you looking for corded rosaries or the bead and chain kind?
Why's it called a ranger rosary ? I thought there was only one kind 🤔
It’s modeled after the Ranger pace count beads for land navigation.
@@fnsimple oh that's good to know. Thanks.
that doesnt look like paracord to me.
it was a little flatt looking for parachord but they might have taken the guts out and flattened the outer layer of the parachord
