Ive been a disciple of Jesus for almost 30 years now… im definitely not Catholic, but I’ve recently been going through a really rough, traumatic season of life… I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I cant focus, most of the time I’m barely holding it together. I found my grandmothers old rosary and I made up my own set of scriptures to recite that are meaningful to me right now for each bead, then I use the decades for different things to pray about… listing 10 reasons to worship, 10 people to pray for, 10 things I need to confess, etc… Ive found that it slows me down and keeps my mind from wandering off, it helps me to breathe.. its not hard for me to pray, it’s just hard for me to pray without hyperventilating or falling into tears or just forgetting what I was even doing. I guess you wouldn’t call it praying the rosary, but a liturgy of prayer using beads has been immensely helpful for me! I can keep it in my pocket or around my neck and any time I start feeling overwhelmed by life I have a simple way to ground myself and get my heart and mind back where they belong… It’s actually a really beautiful thing ❤

Thank you, Father. I enjoyed this. I'm considering starting to make Rosaries. BTW, the seat cut you made in the 2 pieces of the cross are called a half-lap joint. It is one of the strongest joints in the woodworking community.
I have a rosary bracelet to make it a whole rosary I've got to go four times around and then 3 beats it gives me great peace I actually am in the process of learning how to make them so if the worst should happen and it should ever get broken or need a repair I could do that but I'm very grateful for this piece I'm sorry you lost yours it's nice to see you make a new one too
Thank you very much for explaining how to make this has to help me very much have a blessed day❤️🧸
Very beautiful. Thank you Father.🙏🙏🙏🌹📿
Thank you so much Fr. Malachy! Brilliant Job - Double Thumbs Up!! God Bless You Brother and Keep the Faith!!!
It's the way the barrel knot created a halo above the cross while tying. There was something else you said I was like that is very magical
What a nice idea you gave us this morning you made my day more happy thank you and God bless you.
Beautifull, God bless you
Thank you, Father Malachy, you have shared a wonderful gift here - I am sure this video will help many people. I pray that you are safe and well! May God bless you always (and may He help everyone to remember to wear eye protection when using power tools!). 😊🙏
I love these rosaries. I use 10 mm or bigger and I’m making one that contains all the rosary mysteries and it could be up to 5 feet long. Thank you Father Malachi. I’m so glad to see you.
Thank you father sharing and may God bless you.
Thank You Fr. I am thinking about opening a online store selling home made rosaries.
Thanks for filming this. It was so relaxing and filling 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing that.
Is it a sin that I was more captivated by Father Malachy himself than his lesson on the rosary...? Dont get me wrong, I was inspired enough by his diy video that I'm now on my 7th rosary but Lord have mercy. This man is absolutely heavenly! ..Is he single?🙏
God is Great💙👣
He’s celibate and cannot marry..
All I heard was .."He's single"....yesssss
@@christinadow993 this is incredibly disrespectful
Thank you Fr Malachi. Brilliant work.
This is FuNn! Thank you! Gratias Padre!
God bless you
