    I love the design! And the reactions you got between colors is amazing. I haven’t been watching you for long but the first time you said you were done, I immediately thought “no you’re not” 😂

    Nice! ❤ As you stated, I like that the edges stay and are still pigmented vs transparent w/ vertical streaks. I’m intrigued that it seems thinner than epoxy, but actually covers the edges (didn’t see any of the fogging from undercoat. What’s the thickness/depth it self levels? Have you tried melded marble or chopping? Although I know those aren’t the designs you normally create, just curious. I think I’m going to try the SP as I still like WHITE marble with hints of gray! 😊

      I'm not sure the thickness after curing. I'll get back to you once we cut a finished piece. I haven't tried a melded marble. But I will. No need to chop anything though. It lays out like glass! Definitely give it a try!

      @@ArtisanDesignConcepts I liked the design chopping makes (not the bristles though), but that was also considering that epoxy moves a lot more….now that I think about it won’t get same effect anyway. I’ll do samples melding with hands, roller and/or bondo spreader. I look forward to your response on thickness because will now be a pour in place 😏

    Beautiful, will I be able to do my shower walls with this, if I chose to?

      Thank you! Absolutely!!! This would be killer in the shower! Our shower had the same colors.

    What pigments and powders do you use with polykote? On their website it says it can yellow if pigments are not UV stable. Thank you a lot!!!

      I use a combination of products. I love the Savage Patriot liquid tints. I also use any mica powders made for resin as well as pastes. Just avoid spray paint if it doesn't say UV resistant. Most colorants are safe to use as long as they were made for resin.

    How many ounces per sq ft do you typically use on an average poor, and for a dirty poor using poly?

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts
      @ArtisanDesignConcepts  3 місяці тому

      I'm using 4oz/sq ft for most designs but if it's something very simple like a Carrara or Calacatta Marble, I use 3oz/sq ft because I don't want it to move much at all. I no longer need to do exotic pours thanks to PolyKote! No longer do I need 8oz/sq ft to achieve the awesome effects I would get with an exotic pour. Saving money using less material. Plus no taping. No torching. No alcohol. Savings all around!! 😁
