The show saying that the cyanide pill is the most humane thing Vault-Tec ever made is so depressingly accurate that I burst out laughing.
Absolutely. It feels like a throwaway line but it absolutely cuts to the core of what Vault-Tec is all about (he says, while currently wearing a Vault-Tec t-shirt... hahaha)
I feel like I've seen this exact comment on a other reaction video 🤣
Another***
Plus it's banana flavored like it matters to a soon to be dead man lol
If you don't know Vault-Tec, it's a depressing like. If you DO know Vault-Tec, it's an even harder line.
I didn't realize it until I just watched an interview with Todd Howard and Jonah Nolan, but when Lucy walks up to that dude in what can only be described as diapers to ask directions to Filly and has her gun pointed at him, that's a wink at the games, since it's such a common thing in games to forget to holster your weapon, so you'll often start a conversation with an NPC while pointing a gun at them. That's the kind of subtle little nod to the games that I'm just completely here for.
That's a decent fan service
amazing detail
It's just works then
It works on multiple levels. Both a nod to the games, but also she's skeptical of everything out here, so she's making sure she's ready.
I don't even know HOW to holster the weapon 😂
The automated turret missing every shot at the beginning, is for a lack of a better word, accurate. Those turrets are woefully inaccurate, especially against moving targets.
Except when they are shooting at your character, then they seem to be pretty accurate.
Honestly I took it as a “Wilzig has Luck 10” honestly, but good to know that those automated turrets are inaccurate
95% chance to hit, still misses.
that guy was an idiot but also that wasn't a regular bear... it was a yao guai ... mutant bear very dangerous
its got nothing on cazadores, trying to shoot at it from 50m, next thing you know its right in front of you
@nuhrii3449 love them, new Vegas terrors... that noise and speed lol
@nuhrii3449 feckin Cazadores.
Screw you Big MT Researchers, Dr. BOROUS SPECIFICALLY AND ESPECIALLY.
8:44, that's actually the first reaction of a new player in fallout when you see something big trying to get you for the first time in the game.
Everyone's first experience with a Yao Guai goes pretty much exactly like that
Yeah but usually you don’t meet your first with a T-60 and a companion to back you up
@@tonydanatop4912 I mean fallout 4 throws a death claw at you pretty early while you're in t-45 with fire support from a nearby building, and a lot of people were still running around yelling "fuckfuckfuck"
22:16 Power Armor is powered by a Fusion Core and contrary to Fallout 4/76 that thing ain't running out of juice for quite a while
Also I bet there's fusion cores in that big pack the squires are carrying
@@DarksideGmss0513Almost certainly the case, yes!
But its also gameplay and story segregation at play, the Cores run out for balance. Not lore ingame
Its much the same with how the jetpacks work, gameplay is not how they function in lore. They arent supposed to be booster jump packs, but more like in the show here.
Not sure on the location of them on the armor though.. but thats whatever
@@xqzqcv7950 I think out of gameplay the things would last years, since it's nuclear fusion tech, it's long lasting. Would be useless otherwise.
@@chazo1367 Yup!
Thats the point afterall, would indeed be useless otherwise
And not a very good replacement for fossile fuel.
@@chazo1367meanwhile I’m over here lugging around thousands to power a single trip across Appalachia
During the gunfight scene I like the nod towards VATS with the slowdown lol
They did their homework
That was great
@Husky92223 the chick showrunner has played like all the games
@@BigCowProductions no doubts lol the Nolans are all nerds 💗💗
How do you figure? Lucy is the only one with VATS around here.
8:44 "this is a act of bravery" as he's running away like a b****😅😅😅😅😅😅
What I couldn't comprehend is that Knight Titus was played by Michael Rapaport. The showrunners did a phenomenal job at keeping that casting a secret. I was genuinely surprised when Maximus took the helmet off.
I’m not familiar with the actor and all I could think was “this guy sounds like Bill Burr, and a Bill Burr cameo would have been hilarious.”
The suit isn't useless, it just doesn't have as much protection from the back and the guy was running
The Ghoul appears to have an .45 revolver with a stock mod & VATS bonus, and explosive. Definitely modded hahaha
It's a revolver shotgun, specifically it is intended to be a MTs-255 12 gauge shorty. That is cut down into a pistol.
A rifled barrel so it can shoot AP .50 BMG sabots, or .729 caliber explosive rounds.
Intended to be a MTs-255 12 gauge as that is what his rounds are, but the barrel doesn't seem to match, so just pretend.
His lever action looks to be a cut down Winchester 73 with a .50 caliber barrel, but it isn't modified to load .50 rounds.
As someone who has played the games multiple times, this awesome show makes me want to play the games again. one of the best video game adaptions along side with Last of US
Yknow, the sinus thing: not having a nose actually causes CONTINUOUS sinus infection because the nose isn’t there to stop the germs.
ghouls radiate high amounts of radiation which should disinfect and kill all bacteria in their orifices.
they did the Fallout game series justice the scenes, small detail, game npc moments. amazing. I recognized exactly where they were at the end scene.
As much as I don't like animal violence... I think it's a stretch to call him a Jojo villain for stabbing a dog that was mauling him lol. He didn't pull a Dio who pulled up and morphed into Sagat to just Ex Tiger Knee Danny into a damn near coma lol.
Either the UA-cam Translator isnt working properly or i have to finally watch that Show after all.
@@davidklaube497which show Fallout or Jojo?
@@davidklaube497 Because if your shocked by what I said about Jojo it's a wild series and what I said doesn't stray far from what happens in episode 1 lol
@@Grimbear13 Tbh all i know about Jojo is that somehow every other Media in Existence seems to be a reference to it and that it has one of the most randome Fandomes i have ever seen.
@@davidklaube497 lol yeah Jojo fans are rabid (myself included in that) and it does a lot of wild shit and is a pretty old series so there's a lot of things you can say Jojo did it first.
But the real charm of the series comes from it's ability to perfectly toe the line of tongue in cheek silliness and leaning into (what became) meme-able moments (it's all done on purpose by Araki the author). To scenes that make you cry cause he's a master of getting you to care about characters in such a short time and then when he starts offing them you're like NOOOO not them they were my fave!
If you like the Doctor with the dog, watch Person of Interest. It's finished, and it's quite good. He's in it. Very nice actor
You know... A thought occurs to me regarding Lucy pointing the gun at the dude in the wastelands and saying "It's ok, Im just asking for directions".
I feel like that is a tongue in cheek homage to the games, where players don't holster their weapons when talking to NPCs.
Ma June's Adventuring career has ended, she took a bullet to the knee.
I felt so sorry for the scientist 😅 the old lady had a shop full of guns and stuff but didnt have a single stimpack? Or at least some drug for pain.. they just let him go with bleeding leg...
There’s a scene were you see a couple of stim packs under the glass counter. Either she wasn’t gonna give it for free or didn’t think of it I guess. As a shop owner I’d have them things ready just like the guns.
Ghoul was just defending himself in the case of that dog.
Going into places and finding human remains was always so common and morbid.... usually skeletons..
A pair of skeletons in a bed with a suitcase nearby...
Or fresher bodies like the sheriff and his wife in Primm.
But actually the most heartbreaking thing ive seen in a Fallout game so far:
In an abandoned 3 storey building near the southeast corner of the Fallout 3 map is a bunch of booby traps, like a collosal amount for the next-to-nothing in that building, leading up to a room on the 3rd floor where lies a dead female Raider you killed from outside the building when she opened fire on you.... in a makeshift room FAR more comfortable than a typical Raider hideout, where she lived alone... she has a safe with not much stashed in it and a bed that is in as good a condition as they ever get in the burned out homes, with a area rug on thr floor iirc.
Raiders are never found solo in my experience...except for this one.
YOU'RE PLAYING MASS EFFECT YES!
c:
Plz keep doing this series very hyped see y’all’s reactions to all these episodes
Ima point this out tell others take note. There's confirmed aliens in the fallout universe. Including a full on alien mother ship invasion. Please lord let us just get some hints at least of them in the next season.
damn I just jumped on to you from the first ep love the quick uploads
Same!
Noooooooo! They killed Harold of Person of Interest! Also, amazing to see Robotman's actor there. Or I am just crazy and it was only in my language and when he was inside the suit(Titus).
Amazing reaction, and now that I know of your gaming channel I will check it.
oh my god yes, poor harold!
How is he blaming Maximus for something he had nothing to do with?
Guy is a crybaby who got his ass kicked.
Maximus is a terrible squire tho
typical karen mentality
08:45
ok i was going to get mad at this but
that's legit what i do in game too. early game yao guai and deathclaws are deadly man.
“Are you a different animal, but the same beast?”
“The fuck does that mean, Kobe Bryant?”
love your guys jokes
Sounds like Philly hasn’t changed.
Ain’t no way y’all switched up on The Ghoul just because of the dog. Was he supposed to just let it get him?
Damn, Asheville catching strays. They call themselves the Paris of the south and Boom calling them a wasteland
you know, he kinda looks like the Bookmobile Driver in South Park too...
"Normal looking people if you go to Asheville"? I was about to protest on behalf of friends I have in Asheville but . . . you know . . . fair play, I guess.
3:48 exactly why so much coal exists
you guys are hilarious 🤣 this was bout my same reaction to everything in this episode too lmao this show is wild
They are nailing the Fallout dialogue so far lol
Apart from when they fly or open and close, those Power Armour suits are practical foam cos play style costumes.
17:08 She's not necessarily being racist. People are very wary of ghouls since they can become feral at any time and start attacking the first person they see, and majority of places don't want Ghouls anywhere near them due to that fact.
bro is still ben linus
18:22 Too funny! 😆
Ok so it wasnt just me noticing the okie dokie becoming darker
I never understood the whole dog lover movie audience thing, people who clap for murder but go gaga over hurting or helping a dog. I imagine you never had to defend yourself from a stray or loose guard dog or had one maul your kid or mom or pet or you wouldn't be so upset about hurting one in self defense. It's not even easy, like I've been surrounded by 3 riled-up guard dogs before, buncha dangerous aggressive sh*ts. My mom had to get leg surgery after one came after her while she was walking her small dog which nearly got killed too. You should have sympathy for the person being attacked by the dog, it's not a "fun puppy" when it's a rabid animal biting your leg off.
I think, especially in this case, the dog is just protecting the guy who raised it, and those other people all attacked the ghoul on way unfair terms, armed with guns and armor, 6 to 1 or so
Subbed this series is AWESOME!!!
22:15 i like the show but will agree with a nitpick that others mention. here when he was lassoing the hook cable and toss it look at the angle where the hoot launched onto maximus.
Ye that was the spot where I went “ok that effect was legit bad”
No arc on that throw, that heavy ass metal hook and cable basically shot in a straight like up 😂
I see you are new to Bethesda physics. The games are famous for fucking up the laws of physics.
@@wwaxwork fair 😝
Currently replaying Fallout 3 on my old 360 because of this show. Will replay New Vegas and 4 next. Hope this show rekindles some love for the fans of the franchise.
You said in the last episode it was a VATS shot? Nah, 18:00 and 18:53 are VATS shots
18:52
Whoever shot this part is a Max Payne Fan
The final episode is fuckn mind blowing best be prepared the Halo show gotta take notes
1:51 Have you guys thought about playing fallout 76 as a group? Could make it a series on your gaming channel.
Omg you guys gotta keep Patrick Star in your reactions
I love this series I am on episode 5
11:10 lmao
Knight Titus "He must be just an idiot"
Yeah, they finally wrote a character to fit Michael Rapaport to the letter.
An Idiot.
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of Fallout!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
2:52 ngl the turrets I have on my settlements aren’t that good either
Yes Please Watch Lost!!!!!

a bos knight losing to a yao guai who then dies with a single 10mm pistol shot grinds my gears
and the said knight being unable to administer a stimpak to himself is stupid af as well, these power armor were used before the great war and the soldiers didn't have squires then
There's speculation that Maximus is maxed out in Luck, so you know, I could see it. Thought it was two headshots though?
The snake-oil salesman is not the same guy as the "chicken collector" (as listed in the credits), though they have a similar overall look.
The chicken collector is the guy who owned the chickens. The snake oil salesmen is the chicken-f*cker.
Watch Lost!!
This is Gud show
Me likely gud sho
Deep in their mind everything you're seeing with the dog and everything else it's Enclave the man is working for Enclave the dog was bred in Enclave
.
Need to play fallout 3, more wasteland feel to it.
Can you please react to jackass movies
I just finished the whole season...i hate the beginning of this episode so much.
i need a link to that mass effect reaction lol
