for f4 there are 2 options 1. use a decoy and go to the top, kill the mobs using aoe the mage provides and kill enough mobs and then have a dmg class go and kill spirit bear and then shoot thorn, avoid the chickens 2. if you can survive just do everything in 1. but stay down below, its more risky, but if you can afford it, go for it
Here's the f4 strat: The way it works is that thorn circles around the area spawning mobs. You kill mobs to fill up the sea latern border around the arena. When it's 100% the spirit bear spawns. He drops a spirit bow with 1 shot that can damage thorn, it takes 4 hits to kill thorn but ferocity works and if it's high enough you can even one shot thorn. There are also healing circles around the arena, and if you try to enter the crowd spirit barts will spawn and destroy you. The crowd also has fairies that you can revive teammates with. To do this boss, you're gonna want to place a decoy in the crowd and camp near it the entire time. It would be best if people don't go into the arena and if they do they should aote out when they get half health to avoid any risk of death. Mages will be carrying this floor by killing the mobs. Eventually one person grabs the bow, aotes and gets ahead of thorn so they can aim, and shoots. This repeats a bunch. Don't kill the spirit bats because there is a limit to how many can spawn so you don't want more spawning. Oh. Looks like I wrote spirit barts instead of spirit bats. Not gonna be fixing that typo.
If you get to the portal that you spawn from, and get just above it into a small hole, you can stay there and attract animals to you, and the bats won't target you until about 20mins into the run.
You may or may not want to dungeonise your dragon armour at the start. Mage isn't THAT bad at lower floors, but it's not the best I agree. Although it'd be kinda lame if I just said don't play this until F5 and skipped to there.
If you are early midgame and low on money, everytime you see a superior lost adventurer you should equip a hound pet to kill it, it will drop double the fragments. (any rarity or level works)
I currently have full very wise dragon armor (I think it's close to full 5*) and a 5* ult wise 5 (and all the other enchantment table enchants) spirit scepter. Should I do the stupid process of grinding slayers to get them to higher levels and grind foraging for a stupid amount of time for strength? I just really don't know what to do next.
Most of the time, the answer is to grind catacombs lvls. If your cata is high enough you can do any of the floors in wise dragon armor with a good weapon. A happy medium between farming super high cata levels and upgrading your gear would be to do both a bit. Also maxing your fairy souls is probably going to be your second or third best way to get more stats aside from getting more talismans and more cata levels. I would upgrade weapon/talismans and accessory bag/fairy souls/and get more cata levels, cap your gear out with extra money in the meantime. Once you get to a high enough floor that requires a different armor set I would focus on your stats
For f4, kill spirit animals til lthe ring lights up full, kill the spirit bear use bow stand on the platform and shoot its muc heasier from the platform u need to do this 4 times to be the boss. Use decoys on the platforms to prevent getting comboed by bats
