everyone keeps forgetting about gloomlock grimoire for general healing in phase 3 which is an absurdly big buff to survivability (literally made me die 3x less often there), then ppl overrate raw damage gear, bosses die in a second anyways, 3/4 of clearing time is getting secrets and same applies to doing tasks in bossfight you can really easily do f7 with sceptre or juju, but it's really hard to do without actual items that let you deal with true damage, you can even be cata 50, but you'll keep throwing if you're not actually prepared for that also ppl heavily overlook practicing that floor, just immediately jump into S+ runs, you prob should do like 20-30 runs where you don't die a single time before you actually try getting S+
Honestly, speaking as a pretty high level mage lock, I used to use yeti sword, underrated as fuck weapon, its so good for its price conpared to Midas staff and hype
I'm pretty sure that turtle is better than blue whale, with turtle you have less ehp, but as you have less health with a lot of defense it's eassier to regenerate health, also the turtle has a dwart turtle shelmet incorporated for outside of dungeons, which means you can equip the turtle with a crochet, or whatever.
Nice guide, but imagine being able to use Bonzo's Staff in P3 with the rubberband/rollback every time lmao. Also I love Spring Boots for crystals & trap room, its so good.
As a tank, it’s nearly impossible to tank the start of P2. The amount of wither skeletons makes it hard to keep your team alive. Never use your ultimate in P1. You can use gloomlock grimore and florid zombie sword, you absolutely will need to use your ult as you drop to P2
@@OndraeTheGreat I mean, I don't care about risk I just want to have fun, by the way, would 1.3b be enough or do I get more? I have nothing whatsoever and about 550 mp, would it be enough to a good term + armor + pet + utilities + mp? Also is 700 mp enough?
For devs spirit mask and epic phoenix is helpful you are playing in monkey finder as second dev or terms are often skipped. For doing f7 your archer should have a terminator or you will not do enough dps. Also if you use a juju or term you need 83 attack speed or the dps will be too low
Gquntlet of Contageon is better since it can have dom. Implosion belt also deals more damag with a hype, and later you want equipment with dm mana pool anyways since that out dpses the dungeon equipment.
Yeah I forgot to mention implosion belt for mage, and I personally don't use a goc so it kinda slipped my mind. Both are decent though, I just stick with dungeon gear because the cc from waxed scales which is so hot
Opinion on good attribute equipment (ex. gauntlet and implosion belt with dominance V+ mana pool V+) vs dungeon equipment for mage especially instead? All other info i see online says that attribute equipment is the way to go
i think you should have talked about the no enrage strategy to help lower cata tanks who arent very used to maxor's true damage survive, where the teamlets the tank do the damage (usually with necron tanks) so as to not enrage maxor instantly
How much speed do you have, and what class? Maxor boots should give a lot of speed, and if you set your tunings to speed you should get a bunch more as well. I forgot to mention in the video that you should also drink dungeon potions for the speed and other buffs.
Well thats unless you have cata 30... After that reforges should for any class be ancient on the armors besides Mage and waxed equipments for tank/healer/archer plus you should get a term as this item is your golden ticket to 95% of anything in the game... Once you unlock the true potential of Overload you will find that all classes become pointless as you as a tank can dps harder than most oblivious archers and most Hype mages and if you actually manage to die to circumstances besides True Damage/Master/Lava you should reconsider playing dungeons... Than there is the part which is called Mastermode in which tanking becomes a survival hazard... (especially in m2, dont run m2 without practicing to cloak) You can have 100000 Defense and 50000 HP and still get randomly dipped by a wave of true damage or worse... (Honestly can be fought with true defense but noone wants to run with a bad pet or gearpiece)
1. Florid zombie sword isn’t very good to use because the cooldown is so long once you’ve used it up so it’s bad to rely on. 2. Use gauntlet of contagion rather than the dungeonized gauntlet because the ability is much more useful for clear in all situations. 3. You didn’t mention a pet to use for clear as tank and also I would recommend just using a shelmet because whenever you aren’t a tank class and 40 defence really does nothing for you 4. Ignoring the fact that healer is completely useless on f7 you should never use a mender crown. 5. Aots no longer agros withers, and mage beam is now best for agro so rather than tank it should be a mage agroing but if it is a tank agroing you use soul whip. And you should never use jingle bells because once you take it into your hotbar, use it, put it away, you’ve wasted a few seconds and the wither probably went to someone else. 6. During phase 2 you can kill withers to make storm do the countdown sooner 7. You can use bonzo mask or wither cloak to evade the damage in f7, while in m7 only bonzo mask evades it 8. You didn’t mention to not go under the pillar after the lightning so you don’t get crushed 9. Never in the history of ever has it been a rule that tank does first dev, I have heard that archer sometimes does 4th dev but this is the first Im hearing of tank doing first , normally it is whoever is doing predev but if no one is someone randomly does it 10. Imo you shouldn’t be doing archer class if you don’t have a term especially when you get into better parties but lower down you can get by 11. Imo true bers (no bow) is not viable for dpsing, during clear it’s alright but in boss you do so little damage you’re better off using a last breath to decrease his defence 12. You didn’t mention that you don’t recomb the golden/diamond heads because they give same reforge stats even when upgraded 13. Wither skeleton is much better than tiger for all cases other than the last part of necron where he is in the middle 14. You should not use frozen blaze in general 15. In all cases of dungeons, use a shelmet (other than dragon phase in m7) 16. A mage should always use storm chestplate and leggings then maxor boots with a black cat 17. A textbook is extremely not worth it never use it on any pet ever 18. For grabbing crystals the jerry chine method is faster if you have good ping and practice but if you have bad ping bonzo staff way much more reliable and can sometimes even be faster 19. Don’t hit maxor at all if you are a mage, your tank should be skipping maxor by dpsing him only a certain amount and if your archer fully damages maxor tell them not to do that 20. One mage should agro and arch should dps, tank should stand around in case they grab agro and then anyone else should do pad
For 8, I figured that would be common sense that getting squished under a massive press would probably be dangerous. 9 might just be me, maybe tank doing ss was a personal mandela affect or something lol 14 and 17 I figured if I didn't mention those, someone would ask why, and if I did someone would ask why, so I just decided to throw them in there to be safe. Most things I got wrong were slightly more recent things with the dungeon update, as I had no idea it added so many minor changes to dungeons. I always assume admins are consistent in their inability to make good decisions, and so I literally don't even think to check just in case they did
I haven't tested it myself yet but it's possible the nerf was so bad that reaper mask is better for healing your teamates and yourself I keep making the mistake of assuming the admins will properly balance items among classes instead of nerfing them into the ground when they get slightly too good
@@OndraeTheGreatno, mender crown is still loads better for healer than reaper mask even post nerf. HOWEVER, mender crown is entirely useless for tank now as reaper mask is straight up much better both healing and ehp wise. The only thing reaper mask is better than mender crown for healer is having more ehp and more intel which are kinda useless since they don't affect healer gameplay in any shape or form lol
is frozen blaze comparable to necron? im relatively "midgame" and have a decent fb set. do i sell it and get a necron or should i invest in maxing the frozen blaze?
I wouldn’t invest in maxing it out unless you plan to keep it for a while. It’s a good choice. It’s worse than Necron but for floor 7 it will work fine. Once you’re a higher cata or want to do master mode you should get a set of Necron but if you’re just chilling and doing f7 runs fb will work fine.
Archer 26, with cata 29 or 30 and 3/4 necron with golden head and skeleton pet out damges wither as archer. I run f6 as I am too low cata for people to let me into f7, also using a juju. Way cheaper than either skele and better dmg
@@dqge_6068 yes if ur anything other than if u rcm clear where it doesn't rly matter but yes it helps quite a bit. it's only an early mid game issue tho cuz gdrag / term will max it for u no problem
im using the exact same equip as you said (im mage with yeti sword) and im using goldor boots and pants but i still struggle with survivability what should i do
Depends on your cata and party If you're very low cata you could probably look for a party with no dupes (one of every class) as having both a healer and tank is very helpful. If you struggle a lot you could try switching to a tank pet when doing the boss fight for a bit more survivability. If all else fails you should grind f6 for higher cata levels for the extra stat boosts.
Most people just carry it in their inventory and swap to it whenever they need to, for example when tanking maxor, or in phase 3 so you don’t need to worry about lava. Most of the fight you don’t need it on, and it’s a damage decrease so it’s better to try and survive without it. It’s basically a nice thing to have just in case.
A couple of small things to add as I now have over 100 F7 comps! For all - Another alternate necklace u could have is the Balloon snake, purely for the jump boost as it helps doing secrets where it has tight corners making it harder to AOTE around, the other thing is get rid of ur AOTE and buy an AOTV, it's just much better and smoother For Berserker - A shadow fury can actually do more left click damage than a felthorn so if you have one make sure to max it as much as u can and u should be fine (this is my main class and I've done a LOT of research for it) For Mage - Storm armour is definitely the easiest option...BUT if you're mega rich (10b kinda stuff) then god-roll aurora armour with mana pool and mana regen is actually better cus u get more mana. And if u have a hype u rly shouldn't be too bothered about getting knocked around especially on F7 so textbook is the best option For Healer - If you want a good pet for healer, the Jellyfish pet helps with ur wish cooldown and overall healing ability. A close second which could be SLIGHTLY useful is the legendary Giraffe pet purely for the 25% dodge chance as it could help in clearing rooms and even maybe boss fight, but u'd realistically want to keep it to Jellyfish pet for the natural healing regen For Tank - Bone necklace is actually an equipment designed for tank and is basically a must, since it increases ur tanking range, making it easier to do lava jumps in Maxor fight and removes with cloak sword requirement since u take like no damage to the lava! Hope this helps! Loved the vid btw, ty for the soulwhip/AOTS advice I hadn't thought of that before for taking agro
Your mage suggestion is 100% wrong. Using anything other than Shelmet is the worst thing you can possibly do in f7. And aurora is not dungeonizable, so storm is always gonna be better inside dungeons.
In phase 1, if you keep Maxor's HP between 25% and 75% (around 50%), you can skip the enrage phase completely if ur team is competent enough for crystals. Also, for Pet items, a shelmet is literally always necessary. No matter what class (other than tank Ig), there is no better Pet item for f7. The 100 Intelligence from Textbook is NOTHING compared to the cata scaling of Storm's Armor, u can literally just get 1 more cata lvl and u get 100 Intellligence. Also, every class should be able to hit 400 speed, otherwise u will be slow af in clear and for certain secret routes, and in terminals ur also going to be very slow. If ur not super-early-game, u should get 500 speed. I get that this guide is for early game F7, which you probably should have mentioned specifically, because I can't wait to see Cata 40s join my parties as healer with Goldor and a mender crown. Anyways, this leaves me disappointed.
If you want to use different gloves, the Gauntlet of Contagian is arguably the second best choice, and it makes small rooms+ P1 or P2 MUCH easier to clear
goc best for clear soulweaver gloves do more damage than dom 10.

@@truckman4291 what?? I’ve played f7 with a juju and its more than enough and i also played f7 with spirit bow and there is no problem

Jerry gunning up is way faster then using bonzo staff
everyone keeps forgetting about gloomlock grimoire for general healing in phase 3 which is an absurdly big buff to survivability (literally made me die 3x less often there), then ppl overrate raw damage gear, bosses die in a second anyways, 3/4 of clearing time is getting secrets and same applies to doing tasks in bossfight
you can really easily do f7 with sceptre or juju, but it's really hard to do without actual items that let you deal with true damage, you can even be cata 50, but you'll keep throwing if you're not actually prepared for that
also ppl heavily overlook practicing that floor, just immediately jump into S+ runs, you prob should do like 20-30 runs where you don't die a single time before you actually try getting S+
5:49 I used to play that game and make videos off it
Honestly, speaking as a pretty high level mage lock, I used to use yeti sword, underrated as fuck weapon, its so good for its price conpared to Midas staff and hype
turtle pet is also half decent for arch cause the knockback buff and ehp plus you can put a crochet tiger
The ehp difference between turtle and whale is very very tiny.
There’s been debates about it and from what I can tell turtle is better in a few scenarios, but whale is better most of the time.
Most F7 have bad crystals, especially lower cata. So a Tank should get gloomlock, pretty nice to have. Especially, wheb no healer is present.
5:55 spirit shortbow is also good if you dont have the e man carries, especially on ironman.
Nice guide, but imagine being able to use Bonzo's Staff in P3 with the rubberband/rollback every time lmao.
Also I love Spring Boots for crystals & trap room, its so good.
hey, why dont people just use an aote/aotv to get the crystals?
are they disabeled or is it a mana thing? im geniuenly confused
Disabled in the boss fight
lets go my hyperion is in the video
Good, high quality video. Nice editing. What software do you use?
one of the best vids out there thx
Personally, I play healer and I use a dps setup for everything and it works really well because healing circle just carries.
As a tank, it’s nearly impossible to tank the start of P2. The amount of wither skeletons makes it hard to keep your team alive. Never use your ultimate in P1. You can use gloomlock grimore and florid zombie sword, you absolutely will need to use your ult as you drop to P2
For tank : u can grab the bow that lowers enemies defense
Hey machine gun bow is gud!
(wont mention u need c36 to have the best variant of it from m7 and 50% boosted one cost 30m basically like juju)
what i have like 20 of those
I am collecting those and selling 45-50% stat boosted for up to 20m@@theorphanobliterator
You can also use wither cloak with bonzo staff to pass goldor
Love your editing Ondrae! Do you think it is worth it to go for a term and do f7 for the hyperion?
That's what I did
It's luck based though so don't do it if you don't think it's worth the risk
@@OndraeTheGreat I mean, I don't care about risk I just want to have fun, by the way, would 1.3b be enough or do I get more? I have nothing whatsoever and about 550 mp, would it be enough to a good term + armor + pet + utilities + mp? Also is 700 mp enough?
@@megavirusuchiha5468get 700 mp, max term hood necron and pet and jus grind f7 for hype that’s what I’m doing rn
For devs spirit mask and epic phoenix is helpful you are playing in monkey finder as second dev or terms are often skipped.
For doing f7 your archer should have a terminator or you will not do enough dps. Also if you use a juju or term you need 83 attack speed or the dps will be too low
100 as for bows but yes, high atack speed gud
Gquntlet of Contageon is better since it can have dom. Implosion belt also deals more damag with a hype, and later you want equipment with dm mana pool anyways since that out dpses the dungeon equipment.
Yeah I forgot to mention implosion belt for mage, and I personally don't use a goc so it kinda slipped my mind. Both are decent though, I just stick with dungeon gear because the cc from waxed scales which is so hot
shadow assassin cloak still gives more stats than Dom 8 meaning it's best in slot until you have billions of coins
goonly editing in the goonly vc
TRUE
Opinion on good attribute equipment (ex. gauntlet and implosion belt with dominance V+ mana pool V+) vs dungeon equipment for mage especially instead? All other info i see online says that attribute equipment is the way to go
Only use sa cloak, for the others use the easiest to get attributes and an implo belt for mage
Excellent video most helpful thank you very much
ive also found but im not 100% sure but reflecting necrons balls when hes at middle causes him to not fly up
i think you should have talked about the no enrage strategy to help lower cata tanks who arent very used to maxor's true damage survive, where the teamlets the tank do the damage (usually with necron tanks) so as to not enrage maxor instantly
New dungeons update also made it so killing wither skeletons in p2 makes storm go faster now
5:45 Actually i used a machine gun bow to solo Floor -1 to M219. So you’re wrong.
In fact, i just did solo impossible mode entrance with a rogue sword. I think you’re just not skilled enough.
Mages might make your archer hate you if you use midas staff though because it blocks arrows
ok slight defense for the machine gun bow Its actually good earlier dungeon levels if u have it being decently leveled
this is f7
Hot take: Turtle pet with tiger plushie for archer
How do i get the 400 speed tho?
I have a golden helm 2/4 necron and maxor boots and im still slow as shit.
How much speed do you have, and what class?
Maxor boots should give a lot of speed, and if you set your tunings to speed you should get a bunch more as well.
I forgot to mention in the video that you should also drink dungeon potions for the speed and other buffs.
Good equipment but you don’t need adaptive belt because molten is as good and you can use it outside of dungeon
you only need like 800 mana to get the crystals with jerry chine gun so all classes can easealy do it
How about if you see your tank have goldor armor but it doesn’t even do anything because he hasn’t completed the floor
1:15 wheres balloon snake?
1. Florid zombie sword isn’t very good to use because the cooldown is so long once you’ve used it up so it’s bad to rely on.
2. Use gauntlet of contagion rather than the dungeonized gauntlet because the ability is much more useful for clear in all situations.
3. You didn’t mention a pet to use for clear as tank and also I would recommend just using a shelmet because whenever you aren’t a tank class and 40 defence really does nothing for you
6. During phase 2 you can kill withers to make storm do the countdown sooner
7. You can use bonzo mask or wither cloak to evade the damage in f7, while in m7 only bonzo mask evades it
8. You didn’t mention to not go under the pillar after the lightning so you don’t get crushed
9. Never in the history of ever has it been a rule that tank does first dev, I have heard that archer sometimes does 4th dev but this is the first Im hearing of tank doing first , normally it is whoever is doing predev but if no one is someone randomly does it
10. Imo you shouldn’t be doing archer class if you don’t have a term especially when you get into better parties but lower down you can get by
11. Imo true bers (no bow) is not viable for dpsing, during clear it’s alright but in boss you do so little damage you’re better off using a last breath to decrease his defence
12. You didn’t mention that you don’t recomb the golden/diamond heads because they give same reforge stats even when upgraded
13. Wither skeleton is much better than tiger for all cases other than the last part of necron where he is in the middle
14. You should not use frozen blaze in general
15. In all cases of dungeons, use a shelmet (other than dragon phase in m7)
16. A mage should always use storm chestplate and leggings then maxor boots with a black cat
17. A textbook is extremely not worth it never use it on any pet ever
18. For grabbing crystals the jerry chine method is faster if you have good ping and practice but if you have bad ping bonzo staff way much more reliable and can sometimes even be faster
19. Don’t hit maxor at all if you are a mage, your tank should be skipping maxor by dpsing him only a certain amount and if your archer fully damages maxor tell them not to do that
20. One mage should agro and arch should dps, tank should stand around in case they grab agro and then anyone else should do pad
For 8, I figured that would be common sense that getting squished under a massive press would probably be dangerous.
9 might just be me, maybe tank doing ss was a personal mandela affect or something lol
14 and 17 I figured if I didn't mention those, someone would ask why, and if I did someone would ask why, so I just decided to throw them in there to be safe.
Most things I got wrong were slightly more recent things with the dungeon update, as I had no idea it added so many minor changes to dungeons. I always assume admins are consistent in their inability to make good decisions, and so I literally don't even think to check just in case they did
could you make a specific guide throughout the floors for healer? hard to find a video thats not older than 1 year Nice video nonetheless
you also need at least a sheep / wither skelly / tb edrag for clear (ideally greg but not happening)
Why to use Mender Crown as a healer? Doesn‘t reaper mask give the better stats? And healing is doubled too or am I wrong?
I haven't tested it myself yet but it's possible the nerf was so bad that reaper mask is better for healing your teamates and yourself
I keep making the mistake of assuming the admins will properly balance items among classes instead of nerfing them into the ground when they get slightly too good
@@OndraeTheGreatno, mender crown is still loads better for healer than reaper mask even post nerf.
Way cheaper than either skele and better dmg
nice video but... uM AcHtuALly Ballonsnake is a dungeon necklace which is starable.
Gauntlet of contagion clears the soulweaver gloves bcs the gloves are mad annoying to use when fighting master mode shadow assassins
as someone who played tank f7 500+ runs ur suppose to dps maxor once its aggroed and also aots doesnt work for p2
the reason tank dps is bcz high healing and you're suppose to have best timing while everyone is doing other stuff
@@meisum3557 Does attack speed matter in clear or should I set my talismans for something else. Also is soul whip needed for p1.
@@dqge_6068 yes if ur anything other than if u rcm clear where it doesn't rly matter but yes it helps quite a bit. it's only an early mid game issue tho cuz gdrag / term will max it for u no problem
@@dqge_6068 soul whip isn't rly needed that much I think but dunno what's going on f7 nowadays
amazing outro lmao
im using the exact same equip as you said (im mage with yeti sword) and im using goldor boots and pants but i still struggle with survivability what should i do
Depends on your cata and party
If you're very low cata you could probably look for a party with no dupes (one of every class) as having both a healer and tank is very helpful.
If you struggle a lot you could try switching to a tank pet when doing the boss fight for a bit more survivability.
If all else fails you should grind f6 for higher cata levels for the extra stat boosts.
unfortunatly for me, a couple days ago necron heads became soulbound. Is there anyway to use something else?
0:53 teamate 🗿
Love this guy. + Sub.
Is for berserk: Gs, 2/4 necron + maxors boots + reaper mask(cause i die otherwise) + baby yeti a good setup. or should i get a golden head for f7 too.
fire outro
I don’t understand do you carry a bonzo mask in your inventory because he never wears one
This is a really good video
For healer most low cata people with hyp use this class aswell
is Astraea or hyp better if you play tank + mage in clear ?
As a mage you should have enough intelligence to do fine with an astraea. As tank astraea is better no debate.
really well made thx
Dont know if youll see this but what do you recommend for ultimate enchants on armor?
A couple of small things to add as I now have over 100 F7 comps!
For all - Another alternate necklace u could have is the Balloon snake, purely for the jump boost as it helps doing secrets where it has tight corners making it harder to AOTE around, the other thing is get rid of ur AOTE and buy an AOTV, it's just much better and smoother
For Berserker - A shadow fury can actually do more left click damage than a felthorn so if you have one make sure to max it as much as u can and u should be fine (this is my main class and I've done a LOT of research for it)
For Mage - Storm armour is definitely the easiest option...BUT if you're mega rich (10b kinda stuff) then god-roll aurora armour with mana pool and mana regen is actually better cus u get more mana. And if u have a hype u rly shouldn't be too bothered about getting knocked around especially on F7 so textbook is the best option
For Healer - If you want a good pet for healer, the Jellyfish pet helps with ur wish cooldown and overall healing ability. A close second which could be SLIGHTLY useful is the legendary Giraffe pet purely for the 25% dodge chance as it could help in clearing rooms and even maybe boss fight, but u'd realistically want to keep it to Jellyfish pet for the natural healing regen
For Tank - Bone necklace is actually an equipment designed for tank and is basically a must, since it increases ur tanking range, making it easier to do lava jumps in Maxor fight and removes with cloak sword requirement since u take like no damage to the lava!
Hope this helps! Loved the vid btw, ty for the soulwhip/AOTS advice I hadn't thought of that before for taking agro
Your mage suggestion is 100% wrong.
Using anything other than Shelmet is the worst thing you can possibly do in f7. And aurora is not dungeonizable, so storm is always gonna be better inside dungeons.
bro what aurora is t dungeonizable and textbook doesnt do shit + you cant do anything with no shelmet. U dont even know what youre talking about
In phase 1, if you keep Maxor's HP between 25% and 75% (around 50%), you can skip the enrage phase completely if ur team is competent enough for crystals.
Yes this guide is really bad 👍
Golden necron head is soul bound whats the best option for archers
As a tank , I use a Legendary Turtle instead of a blue whale, should I swap or keep my turtle?
9:47 jerrychine gun is def faster
bers is the fastest clearing class now btw. don't buy a giants sword, it's not worth it. save up a bit more money and grab a claymore
