I have a 2019 RSV4 1100 factory Matt black, I’m talking to Brentune now about this, I’ve just bought the Akrapovic race exhaust with link pipe to get rid of the cat! Hoping they can help me out with my tune, would be nice to get brentune into the UK a bit more, we run on 95,97,99 pump gas over here so hoping they can deal with that. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to see the dyno results.
The stated octane rating differences between the UK and the US are not as big as almost everyone seems to believe. There are 2 relevant octane rating numbers: Research Octane and Motor Octane. Research octane is the chemical rating calculated by the oil company. Research octane is the rating the same fuel receives after performance testing in a variable compression ratio research engine. R is ALWAYS higher than M. In UK, petrol is sold marked with Research octane (the high number), in the US the 2 values are averaged. That’s what “R+M/2 Method” on our pumps means. Ergo, our 91 octane could very well be an R value of 93 with an M value of 89 that averages out to 91. In UK, you’d only see the 93.

@@tnelliott2447 They won’t do anything until I get same day dyno runs which is understandable, even though you would think better DA would benefit their tune. Maybe I’ll do that eventually, just more money to spend lol. No problem! Did you get your bike flashed successfully?

Do you have to have a different ecu or do all rsv4 come set up ready with the plug
All bikes already have the plug. It’s the equivalent to an obd2 port on a car

How mutch the machine to do this ?
The handheld with 2 included maps was $675 I believe, on sale

It's currently winter here, so waiting on a nicer day to get the bike across town to the dyno. Should be hopefully soon!
