I love Aprillia! They have such a unique exhaust sound. I saw one in person a few weeks ago and nothing sounds like them, I just wish they made more street bikes like the Ducati Monster and Kawasaki Z bikes.

I wanna see over 200 hp at least on a full tune will you get it tuned for race gas? That’s what I’d guess with all the works... totally in the 190s for sure tho with the flash GOTTA be
The exhaust is kinda limiting us from high hp numbers up top, but we have a fix for that coming soon. Lenny is releasing a handheld tuner with custom maps already installed. Street, race and mr12 race gas tunes. Also for slip ons and full systems. On race gas we should see close to 200whp for sure!!

I have the same bike being tuned now. Went from the dealership right to the tuner. My dealer installed the Aprilia race ECU, and the tuner will prob use the bazzaaz controller. I went with the full akra exhaust and a filter. Not sure which filter yet. I also got OZ Gas wheels which are 3lbs lighter per wheel. And a 520 conversion. I also ditched the OEM Ohlins for race spec Ohlins front and rear. I like the gp pipes but the full can Akra makes more hp. Great vid btw. 185 with a slip on is really good. I may run that mr fuel after watching this.

GetHighspeed I don’t have a final paper chart of filter and tune day because I always have video of it lol. I’ll be able to get you a chart soon though
imagine if a V4 engine Super saloon or a proper sports car with that simmilar sound track.
Did you have any reliability problems with the RSV4 yet? I think on buying one.
Ive owned my 18 RF for 9 months now with absolutely no issues *knock on wood* Upgraded to the SC Project moto GP pipe Race ECU and ceramic bearings. LOOOOOVE it. and ive racked up 9600 miles so far so i do ride it and i ride the fuck out of it 188 max on the streets. I know you didnt ask me but i felt the need to chime in take that for what its worth.
I have a 17' exactly like Jbellz. I bought it new in early 2018. It has a little over 6000 miles on it (I live in Ohio, no year round riding here). I have the race ecu and Yoshi titanium race slip on. Absolutely zero issues with the bike. I love it and have never regretted the purchase. My suggestion is pull the trigger and buy it. You won't be disappointed. Just the sound, linear power of the V4, and head turning uniqueness of the bike is worth every penny.

Was the base tune with the dealership race map installed? My 18RF is going for a dyno tune in a few weeks i have race map akroprovic slip on and sprint f1 filter im hoping to see a good gain on mine after a proper tune
Hey JBellz. Do u notice your clutch chattering at idle when in neutral at the stop light ? Not really a loud noice but u can hear it. Pulling in your clutch it will get quite. Just curious if this is normal with the European bikes.

What does this service cost?
After doing this do you get the "race Aprilia" light that lights up in the TFT like it does after loading Aprilia Race Map?

JBellz I have some issues with my RSV4 RR. the light for refueling turns on when it has something like 8 liters in it.
do you know how can I fix it?
ali ghanadian unfortunately there is no fix. What I do is every time I fill up, I reset my trip meter and go off that. I know I can get roughly 100 miles before refuel. I don’t wait for the light.

What software did you use to to get into the ecu?
Although the numbers clearly show the difference in HP. How does it feel when rideing ? Also is it still rideable on the street sometimes u loose that transition, just curious to know. I have the 18 looking to install the ackropovic
Carlton Davis honestly, I always ride in track mode on the street so the “rideability” didn’t change at all. It just pulls so much harder through the midrange and up top now.

@@JBellz hey I was interested in getting this done, I'm thinking of getting an sc CRT slip on. In your video you mentioned that with the wsbk air filter the AFR was not off. Just curious, would the bike be fine and not run to lean with the slip on and filter?
125artfox I would run the filter til you get tuned. Only because it runs lean with a more open exhaust

So you can send them stanard ecu, and they convert it to a corse ecu with a custome tune?
azeton88 correct or you can get one of the new handhelds that has a few maps. The handheld tuner unlocks and does the same thing.
Similar of what OFT has? His service and answertime are shiit.. Weeks before he answers emails now

Well is you go to the track you need every pony that you can extract because clearly you are overweight for racing, drops some weight and you going to see more improvement.
You ever experience hot start issue, condensation in the headlight? Has it ever hesitated to start at 1st attempt?
Rey Es condensation yes but it was the headlight cap seal. No hot start (knock on wood)
