I feel terrible for just now discovering this band here in 2019. This band is absolutely phenomenal. Better late than never though right.
Dude same.....found them 2 weeks ago and i dont know how they slipped past me for so long
Me too!!
yea, me too!
Found them a week ago and discovered they just came to my country a couple months ago
Same here! I discovered them about a month ago by accident & I was like WTF? This f'n amazing!
Everyone concentrates to her voice, but god damn listen to that instrumental
With all due respect, that's because she's one of the most efficient metal vocalists to hit the scene recently. Her technique is absolutely incredible and I'm not saying that out of blind worship. I mean her growls are seriously top-notch and backed by damn near flawless technique. I think a lot of people are also impressed because it's a woman doing this, as they often are, but frankly even that's surprisingly valid because we've had vocalists like Angela Gossow and Alissa White-Gluz teach us that 'women can growl, too!' but it took Tatiana to show us that they can do it extremely well.
She just blows so many vocalists out of the water with her professionalism and understanding of the craft.
But, you're absolutely right, the instrumentation is a big part of what makes Jinjer so special. It's intricate but groovy at the same time, and they're clearly very comfortable experimenting with jazzier clean styles, too. It's a painfully underrated band, and that's saying a lot considering they've actually been getting a lot of attention over the years.
Akherousia502 That's true
If you like Math-Metal you should check out Animals as Leaders. :)

LEGENDARY COMMENT
god level comment !
Awesome!
🤣😜
This is honestly one of my favorite endings to a song ever.
The vocal performance there is out of this world....
It gives me chills every time
In my small opinion one of the most emotional I ever heard..
Agreed...
It’s always pushes some tears out of my eyes...
One of the most *complete* metal bands I've ever heard. Vocals are on point. Instruments are on point. lyrics are on point. It's just fucking majestic.
'Fucking majestic' is not a phrase I ever would have thought of. It's perfect.
Great way of putting it. This band is the whole package.
Wow im inlove to this band
They dont have lead guitarist
Can not argue with this comment in any way
THIS BASSIST IS A BEAAAAST.
that finger tapping is impressive to match the brutal beauty of the riffs!
Said the same thing
YES, but they're all awesome.
Am I the only one, who gets reminded of Ryan Martinie (Mudvayne's bassist) when I hear that tapping?
@@@SpokesmaNofMadness : nope, I feel the same, butterfly intensifies :)
That ending still have a 100% rate of giving me chills, few songs manage that...
Totally agree !!!
absolutely
What are the other songs? I want to check them out.
The range of her voice....is just f**king incredible and she is SMOKING HOT!
Im 65 years old and a huge metal fan! This is my favorite new band. Duke Ellington once said "There are 2 types of music. Good and Bad" . This band falls under " Way good"!
Couldn't have said it better myself, my guy. Respect!
Truth is in emotional spirited people.
Heard them for the first time a few days ago. Cant stop listening to them 🤘
I'd say there is one type of music (music) and two subjective depictions of different pieces of music (good and bad), but what do I know, I'm just a 22 year old non-famous kid. Hahah ;P
Mindy same way to me when I discovered them a few weeks ago, their music is really powerful.
Every single time I listen to this song, it's 5:09 that gives me goosebumps! Tatiana's clean vocals are incredible.
Ricardo Salinas Yeah, that's true as well.
hell yeah, me too lol
IPlizard Swaders where that starts. yes it does. she's just got an amazing voice
I like the 3:06 part where her voice has back up voicals blended in.

Am I the only one who wants to see more space metal from Jinjer?
No you're not... brother
This is too fire
This really is not space metal. If you want space metal, go for Iotunn, The Thirteenth Sun or Luna's Call. Or if you feel like something that conveys the vast emptiness and cold of the space, check out Below the Sun or Darkspace (this one needs specific taste, that I don't really have)
@@elkapro6534 why do you think this isn't space metal?
@@jkippur it lacks in lyrics, sound, mood. It's maybe space-tinged. Definitely wouldn't call it space metal.
@@elkapro6534 I meant what, objectively, makes you think this is not space metal; If you really believe this isn't it, I'm quite sure you're in the minority here.

You should give Progressive Metal a try then.
here some prog retro jazzy stuff.....im an old man , for me it s only death metal but certainly with a jazzy touch ua-cam.com/video/LBAXZto7uVc/v-deo.html

Her voice is simply astounding :)
it really is. i feel like i just heard Einar Solberg's woman version.
She's got this Lacuna Coil thing going on for sure, yeah.
really? okay
Alissa White Gluz's cleans are far better
Nop
that opening riff is crunchier than a granola bar. I adore this band
Not only is this an incredible metal song, but also it's legitimately one of my favorite love songs. "Don't discontinue this expedition when stuck upon the event horizon of my eyes" and "Come and join me in my rotation" are such underrated, soulful lyrics about what it's like to let another person into your heart. The brutality of the growling offset by the later gentle instrumentals and vocals...it's really something special and beautiful.
Can we pls talk about this absolutely perfect pause?
Silence is used in master pieces by the most-gifted composers and should be used by the worst composers too (but for them, without any moderation).
Hermoso momento que parece romper el compás incluso
What is it about this band that makes me almost cry? Seriously. I've been binging on Jinjer videos for about a week know, and the emotional reaction is almost visceral. I'm a 44yo man who has loved progressive metal for decades, but I've NEVER NEVER NEVER heard anything like what Tatiana brings. She's stunningly beautiful, but her voice is angel and demon in one. I've never been a huge fan of the fry scream vocals, but something about the way she weaves in between fry/clean/distortions makes me feel something in my soul I can't quite explain.
YES! my thoughts exactly!
That is something weird I cant explain...why some music makes you emotional or tear up. I got that way listening to a live version of I know by fiona apple. I guess some artists put soo much of their soul into their singing it comes out the other side and stabs you heart somehow
Yes! I third this motion. I tear up almost everytime I hear Pisces. Her confidence and the amount of soul shoved into every line makes me feel.
Me too!!
I think it springs from a profound connection to the experience the song has to offer. Whether it connects to some silly, whimsical thought you've had in the past, or a deeply saddening experience like the death of a loved one, the connection is really where the emotion wells from. The univese is a vast and terrifying place that we literally cannot possibly comprehend, but some other person out there who's just as lost and confused as ourselves has produced art that you TRULY connect with. What're the odds, eh? @@supersierra70

This song has chaos and serenity just like the universe. This song is pure magic which takes you around the whole existence
She's mesmerizing! The entire band is fucking awesome.
Here I am, back again, months after discovering Pisces through random click and then this song, and becoming a huge Jinjer fan. This song is just as magical and outstanding as when I first heard it.

This band is ridiculously talented. Waaaayyyy underrated.
Her voice is a perfect duality, backed by some amazingly talented musicians.
Why do i feel so late to have discovered this band only in 2018, when this was published 2 yeard ago?
Manuel Tavares i just found them today from a video on Facebook lol
I just discovered them, almost in 2019 hah
i just discovered them today so i´m late toooo damn late
Because you're so late...
Jinjer's been around for a number of years.
This band was underrated for far too long. I'm glad they are finally getting some of the recognition they deserve. Tati's vocals and lyrics are some of the best out there and every member of the band is a genius with their instruments. This is still one of my favorite songs and music videos.
If only FM and satellite radio would play them now.
That ending... so powerful
Me before Jinjer: There are some great female vocalists out there in the world of metal.
Me after Jinjer: There is Jinjer... Nothing more need be said.
I agree about the vocalist but why do slavic girls just always look like real life barbie dolls? Is mattel working on some weird experiments in eastern europe? Ever looked up "real life barbies"? They're all slavic.
1:19 Why does she look like she came out of little Omri's cupboard in that dress? Did little Omri have anything to do with this?
A barbie with tattoos is the weirdest doll a little girl can have.
Opera IX is good too
Same here
She made me lose all the love I had for Lena Scissor-Hands and Alissa White-Gluz haha
I feel the same dude!! I have a few girl led bands on my playlist but after awhile I kind of get tired of hearing them and they all have elements of pop that I could do without. I feel like jinjer is the one true METAL chick. I absolutely love it.
This is ART.
Indeed, this is highly creative. The wide voice-range, the breakdowns, the extraordinary lyrics, the mystic video, the perfect playing of the instruments and the mix of singing and screaming. Love it.
Agree musically, but imo the lyrics are a bit forced and trying too hard
No THIS IS SPARTA

I love her singing voice she sounds like lady gaga and she can sing in ballad as well.👏
This is one of the best metal songs I have ever heard. It's majestic, beautiful, powerful, unique. Jinjer deserve all the fame and recognition they have gotten. Such talent should be recognized!
I pray for you, and the horrible situation your country is in, it's a nightmare and I hope this madness will end asap. I hope you are safe and well. Stay strong!
2023, and this never gets old! that "STAAARS" gets me every single time!
This band is from Ukraine. I'm from Ukraine. I'm astronomer. The song is amazing! Felling, when this story is about you.

Aleks Ulmer - amen!
This song is truly amazing. Tatiana`s vocals are just mind blowing, and the entire band plays at championship level. I love this so much.
I think what I really love about this band is that they aren`t just one style. They are predominantly djent, but have beautiful melodies. Tatiana has a ton of influences, and she uses the best of each to bring out her sound. Let your voice shine girl, it`s amazing! Every member of this band totally kills it. I`ve been playing for over 30 yrs., this is the natural progression of where music can go, pushing the limits of what a human can do.
Tatiana cemented herself as a Voice Goddess with this One.
This band is seriously scary talented. We all know bands can sound great in the studio but every live clip I have seen of them has been impeccable. Just unbelievable how fucking real deal these guys are. Can you imagine what it must have been like to be at some random Metal festival in 2016 and these guys come out??? Peoples heads must have exploded
I remember raving about how much I enjoyed Jinjer back in 2016. My sister was like, “whatever” then years later becomes this big fan, sends me “Pisces”. It’s like I never said anything nor had to speak. It just goes to show that even people who don’t care for their music actually sometimes also eventually become fans. It’s like music of all genres is getting heavier and heavier music is getting more interesting. Music used to be a form of communication for sea navigation - as were the stars. I think of that when I watch this video or hear “I Speak Astronomy”.
@@zebulonswearingen4607 how was music a form of communication for sea navigation? could you explain or elaborate on that?
@@punkbjork Yeah; I read a book about Atlantis that talked about it. I don’t know much about the subject - or if it has any scientific merit, so to elaborate may sound nuts. But I did find it fascinating, because what if it was true? It’s the kinda stuff I fall asleep listening to; I don’t know how seriously I really take it - but I like it.
I saw them on their last tour, meet and greet ticket too. They put on the best live show I've ever seen. I moshed so hard I almost passed out, and needed to stand by the bar drinking water for like 2 songs, before I was steady enough to go back into the pit. They're also pretty chill in humble. We talked about how the weather in Pittsburgh and Ukraine (at least their part) is almost identical.
@@zebulonswearingen4607 As a listener of all music genre including mainly classical Handel/Vivaldi, I am absolutely enthralled by this group. Such tones and melody, I haven't been this excited since the birth of Prodigy. RIP Keith
I fucking love this band. Amazing instrumentally in all aspects, amazing vocals, both harsh and clean, and damn, this video is fantastic.
Now I realise they moved into progressive.
Pisces was their first song I heard, but this is the song that got me hooked on them. Listened to the entirety of King of Everything and it's still one of my favorite albums.
Insane band. This song to me is what defines "Jinjer".
Here I am six years after I fell in love with Jinjer - especially this song - and it's only now I understand it's a love song to challenge all love songs imo. Fuck. Yes.
I cannot believe what majesty I've stumbled upon, those vocals near the end are just pure unadulterated badass.
I started to listening to this band 3 days ago and have not stopped since (I'm a truck driver so I listen to music my whole shift) everytime I listen to other bands or regular radio, I feel like I need to listen to more Jinjer. This is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite bands. Can't wait to see them in September
I'm one of those Covid 2020 people that discovered Jinjer from 'vocal couch reacts to Pieces'. That song is amazing, but this song is pure magic. The entire band is amazing, I know the singer gets tons of props (as she should!), but man, the whole thing is just so good.
Same boat but it was precovid.
The syncopation of the guitar is amazing.
The ending is a masterpiece!
This is probably one of the most innovative metal bands I have heard in several months. The have some crazy time sigatrures, and these songs sound like they would be challeging to learn. The remind me of certain bands, yet they have a unique sound that sounds like no other. The female vocalist is amazing in her abilities, real talent here
This is a straight 4/4 if there ever was one. What they have at times are some interesting da capo and syncopation of passages, but in terms of signature, this is straight up 4/4.
Chuck H
I dont't think that its complety in 4/4. Some parts seem to be in 5 and there are others i cant identify ;)
oh and theres also some 7/8
Daniel U
That is what I hear, It isn't 4/4 all the way through
I'm not trying to be "more knowledgeable than thou" at all or anything but I believe it's 5/4 in the beginning, 3/4 (I'm assuming a syncopated 3/4 and not meter) in the verse, repeat, blah, blah, 7/4 and 2 measures of 4/4 alternating in the slowest part or 4/4, 3/4, 4/4, 4/4. I think I covered them all. I absolutely love this band and this song!
Being a listener it isn't really new to me. The unusual time signatures plus the polyrhythmic drumming is pretty typical of progressive metal - just something I notice. But the blast beats. Holy craps.
I believe I've heard the best metal song ever! This is absolutely majestic! What a band, I'm happy to have seen Jinjer performing live couple of times.
I've just figured out the time signatures they use for the main riff. It's actually genius. 5/4 to 9/8 but they maintain the same beat during the first beat of the 9/8 so it feels like 6/4. It's really effective.
Finally someone who mentions the proggy intro riff instead of the vocals.
@@HeavyMetalBarpiano it's a testament to the sheer talent in this band. Every member is highly gifted.
math is is hard but jinjer kills ;-;
Agree. Awesome time signature. Their music is so syncopatically complex and melodically perfect!
You are overcomplicating it. It's 6/8 7/8 6/8. Basically 6/8 with two 16th notes tacked onto the second bar for the effect. The beat doesn't spill over into the second or third bar; it 'resets' at the start of every bar. You can hear the cymbal lead (which plays half time) cutting 1/8th short at the end of the second bar, 4th hit.
Holy shit... these days when you see a new random metal band in the UA-cam suggestions column, click on it and actually discover amazing new music instead of more generic shit - that's a rarer wonderful surprise than waking up on Christmas Eve and meeting Santa Clause.
Plus their singer is incredible, obviously, but this guy seriously plays the best-sounding base I've ever heard!

I came of age in the early 1980's with bands like Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest, They were the cutting edge of metal, and still are! Yeah And I grew into metalica, as well as slayer, pantera, mega death, armored saint and many others! About mid way through that decade I started playing guitar, quickly learning just how hard that music was to play, I worked like a dog to be able to play that stuff! If you don't play, you can't understand. JINJER is all around freaking incredible!!!!! The band can blow the doors off most every metal band to walk the planet with their skills! And well, they got a little lady that not only can she sing like a bird, but can scream like a banshi! I think most people just underestimate how melodic metal music can be. They just think it’s random thrashing and screaming
So much talent.. And she's so damn beautiful... Please, all I ask for is more of your music and at least a hug from each band member.
Absolutely one of my all around favorite songs and band… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Probably one of fav jinjar songs. I hope they go in this songs direction a bit more again.
This song is fucking beautiful and the video production is the best I have ever seen Jinjer is absolutely fucking epic and Tatiana is beautiful as hell 😁😁
The art direction on this clip is just perfect! Probably the best clip I ever seen.
OK so i just discovered this band about two weeks ago, after hearing tatiana's vocals holy shit I'm amazed. This song specifically the last part of it has been on repeat for a while now. Can't get enough of it. And the technicality of the guitars and drums combined with the harsh bass. Fuuuu... As a musician, I am very pleased and grateful for being able to listen to this.
Танечка ты просто огонь!!! Ребята тоже на высоте!!! Вдохновляете!!!!!! Горжусь тем что,вы земляки!!!! Привет из Славянска!!!! Мы вас любим!!!)))
Jinjer is a great discover of the year for me! What a brutal song!
I've watched this about 20x in a row and there is no end in sight, this band is amazing!!!
Tatiana's voice enchants as the rest of the band makes us dance. Love the talent of everyone involved. Looking forward to the next US tour. Stay safe and thank you for the great music.
The vocals, the instrumentals, that epic shot of a galaxy. I literally have the hair on my arm standing so straight that it hurts a little. The ending of this music video is so fucking metal it hurts.
as my 5yo son says. "dad she s got a angel and monster voice!"
michael salles Hahah so sweet :)
for real? (not jokin')
cuz you'd be the coolest dad and your little angel is ... A REAL ANGEL.
BLESS YOU. BEST WISHES TO YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY FELLOW METALHEAD!!
Keep up teaching this kid right. Kid's not wrong.
Is this really age appropriate music? Irresponsible 'parent'.
@@MysticKnight Not sure if you're trolling, but there absolutely nothing wrong with kids hearing this music. To think otherwise would be on the uptight parent or person that hasn't truly listened to their music.
I honestly think this is the best song to come out in the past decade. It is an utterly beautiful song. I wish more people knew about this band.
This song is a work of art
Every band member is incredibly talented and that translates into the complexity and genius of there songs. Her voice captivates me, she's so incredibly talented, sends chills up my spine.
5:10 Gives me goosebumps EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
So fucking good! Can't even describe the feeling.
starting from this point they buried all other metal bands in the world. This is music of 22th century
I know it's fucking awesome like heeeell ❤️ this song couldn't finish more perfectly, damn!❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🌌☄️
I get chills and emotions I never knew before
Idk, 4:32 when that beat hits and when it rolls on in to that last repeat of the chorus..yeah that does it for me
This is a Goddess for sure.
This band is out of this world
JINJER is on a whole nother level!!!!
Никакие поп-исполнители и рэп читаки никогда не добьются такого уровня силы, таланта и красоты как эти ребята. Пересматриваю уже в сотый раз и до сих пор мурашки. Люблю вас всей душой.
Yeah dude, im sure. I totally agree.
+++
Agreed 👍
this is amazing!!!
When от вас уже будут new releases yopta?
This is great, but not as great as your music! 👌🏻🤘🏻
Ага. Заебок -)
Fucking Right!!!!
just found you guys the other day, love the eygptian themed stuff
I can't remember the last time I loved a band this much
She is by far the best female vocalist EVER!!!! So thankful I found this band a year ago!
She is, INDEED...
