Two years later when his album 'Shadows' was released he quit drinking on labor day and lost weight.
Any idea why his voice changed so much? Most smokers' voices seem to get lower and darker. I wonder if his weight loss affected his voice, but he was lighter in his early days and his voice was very rich. I've always been curious why his voice became lighter and more nasally after that period. @@bluerazor7049
What happened you cut it off at Terry Clements second solo at the Auctioneer!!! Isn’t he supposed to sing Canadian Railroad Trilogy afterwards??? Let me know if you have a fuller segment of this show.
I went to many of his concerts in this period. He was at his peak. In 83 I was backstage and he autographed the Summertime Dream album for me.

@@mattthrun-nowicki8641 He didn't loose his voice during that period, he lost the richness of his voice. It became more nasally and lighter.
