Years ago a neighbor was "taking her frustrations out on some wood" distressing it for a huge project. It took weeks. She said it may have saved her marriage. Lol. ❤ i love your projects
Oh my goodness, Deidre, you must have the "Upcycling gods" on your side, because you found the most amazing things in the scrap boxes - metal and wood. Love all the projects!
I don't think anyone who watches your videos asks, "Deirdre, what were you thinking?" LOL We all know that whatever you're thinking, whatever you pick up, will be end up beautiful. Your thinking makes for awesome ideas.
You absolutely blow it out of the water with your projects!!! I loved all of them! And to think you just took thrown away junk people did not want!! You never disappoint with your videos! Ty for sharing!!
I knew exactly wht you were doing when you were "aging" up your wood. I've done this numerous times. I was right there with you until you did the lines with the utility knife. I can't think of what would do that naturally. Personally I think it would've turned out beautifully if you skipped just that step. Still, if you love it then that's all that matters. I'm still swooning over those brackets. I'm so glad you left them as is. They really are stunning. I was surprised that you painted both stools. I know how you like to re-create chippy or layers of paint. I thought you would've went with that look by sanding to bring more of it out. I love natural age over re-creating it. No matter how we try it's just not the same. Either way I enjoyed this video and you had some really great finds. I've been looking for vintage metal stools for years. The only time I have found them they have been priced way too high. I'm always surprised at what people will just throw away.
I love the new content. I can't get enough! I love the way you make everything affordable and easy to follow. And the only things you sell are the graphics you created which are amazing. Thank you!!!
After you painted the ladders I noticed the twirly detail on the support rods, really nice. I like all the projects but the shelf, no1 is my fav, amazing job on that wood. Thank you.
Once again, I'm envying your access to scrap piles. Where I live in Washington state, we don't have wood and metal trash piles. Love that shelf - I recently saw a small bench made of rough old barnwood, and I think your techniques could simulate that. I'm going to give it a try.
LOVE each and every project you create, and maybe I need to create a rustic board to take out frustration, lol been a year over here this week...lol LOVE how that shelf turned out just so GORGEOUS!!!!
I have that same blue chair I found cheap at a garage sale! I also used it as a plant stand. I didn't change the color though, liked the way it looked.
I love destroying wood for a decor piece. You did fantastic and gave me lots of ideas of things to use. I normally use only hammer. You creativity is awesome ❤
Love your channel. You are infinitely talented. But just one correction for the benefit of the DIY newbies, that's a jig saw you're using, not a chop saw. But I'm sure you know that. Keep the awesome content coming.
I'm not disappointed in your projects....far from it....but I WAS expecting some creative ways to use scrap metal pieces as opposed to what you shared. Just different ideas of "scrap metal" I guess....but like I said, I'm NOT disappointed! these are really neat ideas and you seem to never run out of them! I need to get a can of that engine enamel spray to have on hand....
Please please please , DO NOT TALK THAT MUCH, we can see what you do , There is no need to say you pait it.... You scrubbed it.... ....... ....... !!!!!!!!
