Good deal Austin. Tip I found out for the doors/window surrounds: the scribe lines (much like the canopy) are all over the place. The door outer scribe lines were very generous and I had to take off way more than the scribe dictated. The window scribe lines were just the opposite and if you cut to the scribe line you would have to add more material back.
@@auburnaviator6167 thank you! And thanks for the tips! Those scribe lines seem to sometimes cause more harm than good. The main canopy frame ones that you start with sure did give you a false sense of hope. Ended up cutting much more off than initially called out. It’s all building character though I guess…. 😂
@@gregpdx thank you Greg!! Excited to get going on it

Very good my friend. I, here in Brazil. Staying follow you and your evolution tô build your RV10. I'm work in a aircraft company, we assemble 3 RV10 for month and Iknow that is not easy, but is very gratifying.
Are you building with Flyer? I know they are a Brazilian company that builds RV-10’s.

@@auburnaviator6167 Hi, yes, i'm engineering manager at Flyer. We homologated the RV-10 like LSA this year, in Brazil. Now we are work to certify other VANs aircraft like LSA in Brazil, this year too and we help amateur builder during the assembly your aircrafts.
I find it interesting how the finishing kits are all going out with front seats lately, but numerous people are still waiting for year plus timeframes on backordered front seats. I know they are trying to send things “complete” but it’s a bad look that so many are waiting and everyone else is getting them in newer orders.
@@LISRAREF I totally hear you. It really sucks for those waiting on back ordered parts. I think it has to do with their bankruptcy plan that they settled on with the court, where new orders would take priority for fulfillment. It does look bad though
That’s coincidental that I just got my finish kit on the 2nd of October and finished the inventory and your video popped up. Just curious as to when you had ordered yours. I had ordered mine Jan or feb of 23’. The canopy is a PIA but slow and steady it’ll com out ok. Keep it up
@@williambeckert9057 what a coincidence! I ordered mine in June of 2023. They must have processed a large batch of them. And ohhhh yeah it is! I hear the doors are even more….. fun….? lol. Thanks for watching!!
