I highly recommend to rebind it. Most people put primary cannon on left mouse and secondary on middle mouse (pressing down on the mousewheel) but I have secondary cannon on mouse button 4 of my gaming mouse. It works super well.
If you do so the M3 Lee becomes genuinely unstoppable. Being able to comfortably shoot both gun and switch between them quickly is just incredible.
5:46 Another thing that was liked about the Lee is how you could elevate the guns to very high elevations, which was useful in fighting mountainous and other typically unfavorable terrain.
You know what else is a war winning tank? The ZACHLAM TAGER
That is not a tank. That is the War Winning Truck. Different category.
It would be outplayed by the 75mm gun truck
No...just..no
Seeing spookston actually get to have fun playing warthunder is honestly a most enjoyable experience
Day 111 of asking spookston to play the Is-4m
13:29-13:52 Spookston continuing to struggle with T-80s
11:31 what's that sound from
Laser piss
"I love this 75mm so much" you won’t like it so much when you’re still using the same gun at BR 4.7
1:09 most pitiful gameplay i've witnessed..
1:14
I was NOT ready for that fuckin moment had me wheezing in the middle of my meal.
Hey Spook, you should play the Semovente 75/46 M43. It's a deeply overshadowed italian tank destroyer which can deliver an heavy punch but it's deeply ignored the potential it has. I am not gonna surrender in proposing this. I AM NOT GONNA SURRENDER, BE CLEAR! I A M N O T B A C K I N G O F F!
Y O U
C A N' T
K E E P
G E T T I N G
A W A Y
W I T H
I T !
Eyo, don't yo dare ignoring me, I won't surrender until you play it!
(Day 119)
I have around 15 hours in the game and this man probably double all of my collective kills in a single video spread across 4 matches
In my experience it's incredibly bad in the average players hands, compared to say a Sherman or panzer, but it can be good with a lot of experience
5:37 "They loved it in the Pacific. You could load canister shot into the M3 Lee's 75mm cannon."
Pillbox? Gone.
Infantry squad? Gone.
A few trucks? Gone.
Two cities? Gone :)
Not only was this an underrated tank, it was the basis for the western workhorse. The Lee was where this platform got its first taste of combat
In my 9 years as a Free to Play casual WoT player, this was my favorite tank to play
Day 100 of asking spookston to play the 15cm sIG
5:24 That's not a platoon inside, That's a SQUAD!!
Day 8 of asking for Leopard 1
needed a nice video to watch. glad to see you having fun instead of suffering too
That bit about the canister shot and the Aussies? Friend of mine's grandfather crewed one as a driver and there was one thing he said to my friend that haunted him for a long time about the sheer effectiveness of the canister shot, something about two small platoons worth for each shell just being there one moment and then gone the next.
This might be my new favorite War Thunder video of all time. I could watch Spookston eat things with a gloriously silly tank while narrating in pain and excitement all day long.
This is the most fun I’ve ever had watching a spookston video! Love it
That Panzer III just charging him had me falling off my chair (12:01)
Only five minutes in and my thoughts can be summed up in the expression; “seal clubbing”
To elaborate: Spookston sitting just in front of the spawn, just ending all of the poor, unfortunate low tier papier-mâché tanks driving by was much like watching that of a old-timey fox hunter stand outside the fox den, punting each and every one of the pups who come tottering out.
To quote the late, great Technoblade: “BAABYY PUNCHING MARATHOOONN”
Spookston: "What are you? Oh, a Puma."
Spookston's mind: *THEN PERISH*
1:13 the fast zombie noise perfectly conveys how feral su-122 players are
Back when I played, I had my keybinds set up to switch between controlling the two guns independently, I would frequently engage two targets at the same time.
There was also this time where I was in an M10 and got immobilized next to an enemy SU-122 that had just fired and we got into a context between my slow turret traverse and his slow reload speed
Me sitting down with a bunch of cookies a good drink, a comfy couch and a Spookston video.
Nothing better
when he said "creature alert " i got flashbacks
8:08 I've done something similar and I'm pretty sure having the topgun pointed backwards discourages people because they think you are aware.
Bro I just absolutely love the shaking cat with that music at the start of the video. Its my favourite meme
Dude I literally have some screenshots of my Lee having at least 9 kills and 4 assists and the front is literally full of shells that went through or reflected, the sides had a lot too but that thing was a monster that day.
6:26
Pz. III: hiding in the corner
(Suddenly, LOCUST)
Best video ever ! I was looking for a "how to play" M3 Lee video, well, I wasn't disappointed to say the least ! haha
1:30 what the crew doin
Every time I heard you do the “creature alert!” Line, I felt like a sleeper agent as I heard the Octonauts song / theme play X,D
I like how the pixels die for no reason at 8:42
6:01 casually looks through the bushes "oh, puma" 😭😭😭😭😭
When I was building my American tank lineup, I refused to upgrade from the M3 Lee until everything else was in the next tier. The M3 Lee was one of the most fearsome tanks when played right, especially for being early game.
It was a very good tank to pair with the m4a3 105 while it was at 2.7. Granted the 105 being moved up to 3.0 though was deserved
Yeah I’ve used that tank, definitely needed the BR raise. Still waiting for Gaijin to raise the BR in the KV-2 though. Needs to happen.
@@CT-9904-Crosshair The only reason the Kv2 doesn't need as much of uptier as the 105.
The Kv2 actually doesn't have the armor most people think.
Although if you wanna raise up the br of anything op. The early Russian casemades.
After watching this video I tried the M3 Lee for myself and now it's one of my favorite tanks. Great video as always!
this is the most happiest ive seen spooks while playing warthunder, good for him!
the goblin sound when you zoomed in on the su chasing you in the beginning almost made me unironically spit take, and for that i commend you xP
I really like the Lee. Ive learned to appreciate it. The stories of it in the pacific are really interesting. So much canister shot. You have a great day spookston, try arcade when you have time
The rare video where spookston doesnt die to cas
You can actually pen the 122 with the 37 around the mantlet from the front :) its a bit fucky but if hes chasing you it works pretty well (better with aphe ofc)
the lee is one of my most used low tier tanks nice to finally see a vid on it
Drats, my favorite hiding spot on Cargo Port was the first place Spookston checked when looking for goblins.
