As someone who worked in the film industry, I strongly suggest to have a solid relationship/communion with God and to have him test/show/grow your true character. The industry calls for a lot of sacrifices especially the higher up you go. "For what is it for man to gain the world, but to lose his soul." But I wish you the best :)

Sometimes your calling isn't what you do for an income. Sometimes your job is just how you pay your bills and fund following your calling. It's nice when the two allign though :)

I’ve recently felt like the Holy Spirit has called me to ministry. I just feel like I’m not ready for the job. While most people would probably have no problem with it, I stutter. I’m not a fast talker. And I feel like the enemy has used that to weaken my relationship with God. But I God said that I was ready for it and he would be with me. So I encourage everyone who reads this that even if your scared with what your calling is just now, good things will come out of it and God will be with you. Joshua 1:9

Hi @8wodle-nn8rz, I think it’s great that God is calling you to ministry! 😁Don’t see your stuttering as a stumbling block. Moses was a man of slow words, slow speech, and slow tongue. Yet God provided for him and used him as a leader and servant of his ministry. God uses us where we are, and if he says your ready, then become confident in yourself and Jesus who will walk with you every step of the way. I actually think we are in more need of those who talk slower to help those around us understand the words we’re saying. Todays culture moves too fast, and even I find myself missing pieces because of this quick culture. I hope this serves as a confirmation for you. Gods hands are over you ❤ God bless!

Additionally, it's great that you know this is an area you are weak in. It's harder to get hit when you know where the punch is coming from. The enemy always comes for our weaknesses the closer we get to God and the more we obey Him so stay vigilant.
Lastly, there will be many times when you won't feel ready. As you've acknowledged, it's about trusting God and moving forward. It takes intentional acts of faith to settle in and be at peace with the fact that if God wants you to do it, He's already prepared you and everything you need to get it done. You have to watch your thinking here, too, as you continue to grow in confidence to live as the person God created you to be. "I can't" statements are usually false, and the ones that are true are irrelevant because God can and will where we can't and are unable.

Unlike everybody else I've never even made it to high school let alone college, mainly because of my short term memory problem. But yet God gave me the gift of knowing how to drive and knowing somethings about and how to operate a smaller tractor or lawn mower tractor anyways. So I really wonder a lot nowadays with the way everything is now, if I should get My Drivers license and my own pickup truck and go out and do some lawn care for people, to earn a little bit of extra money for my family's small ranch needs and wants. I do feel a lot that god would want me to do something like that. 👍

I feel compelled by the Spirit to share a small bit of my life here. To whomever is reading this, I hope this blesses you.
I'm a bit in this very dilemma now. I left a well paying job to move to another country and want to start a job I like rather than keep doing what I used to do. I'm letting God lead the way. I took an intro class to my desired career after moving and most of my classmates have all gotten jobs, but I haven't yet. I think I needed to learn to trust in God, just like it says in the video. I have felt myself draw nearer to Him in my wait, and He has provided for my family's every need at just the right time. He is so good! I'm thankful that over time, He is teaching me to let go of the stress and anxiety of change and uncertainty. I don't know how long it will be before I am gainfully employed full-time, but I know it will be where He wants me to be as long as I listen for His guidance.
If this message speaks to you, please pray and ask the Father for wisdom and guidance. God loves you! Don't give up! ❤️🙏
An additional recommendation:
Volunteer at your local church to gain skills and find out what Gods call is for your life. I was very shy. When I volunteered at church, I learned to get comfortable greeting people. I later took on more responsibility and it helped me later when finding a job. I still volunteer but now I share this with youth in church who are confused about their career path or who don't have work experience.
Church is also full of people with different career backgrounds and experiences. So it's a good way to get access to counsel from those who (hopefully) are godly people and want the best for you.
God put on my heart to go into medicine when I was 7. I thought I wasn't smart enough for medicine so I tried to be a American Sign Language interpreter but that door closed. After going job to job, was honestly at a dead end. So the Lord spoke through my family and I went to medical assisting school. It was TOUGH for me, but by the grace of God he helped me through it. I have now been an MA for 9 years and continue to enjoy it. If God truly calls you to something and you are willing to listen and follow, don't be afraid.
thats awesome, I thought I wanted to be a IT guy and that's my calling but I went to uni for half a semester and I just couldn't do it and dropped out, I always dreamt of having my own gamedeveloper company which I know sounds ambitious but I feel like I love to do it more than anything , I feel like God made me creative for a reason but I have my doubts as usual on how to start something like this , this October i will start like a Management type of uni and hopefully learn stuff so I can achieve this dream, idk why I shared this with you but your comment sounded really nice , anyways God bless you

I wish I saw this video 20 years ago when I was losing my way. Now 20 years later I am lost and stuck. Pretty much the only step I do well is #3 but so far I have not had any real revelations. I have been guided quite well in other aspect of my life but career and work seems to allude me. The best jobs for me have always been more physical, but my body is slowing down even as I try to get it back in shape. And one of my fears is finding a good career path and having my body give out, to injury or just not able to keep up with the demand.
I will take this video and think on it, maybe something will sink in. Finding that goal, what I am meant to do or working towards seems to be the most challenging so far, I am sure once I got that figured out the rest would fall into place.

Im 15, i Wish for a career in motorsport but my friends tell me i don't have a chance. I, on the other hand, believe that God made me fastlearning for a reason, so, even tho i am a little old for motorsport, i truly believe God will help me with my journey.
My biggest and most valuable example that God gave to me is with f1 driver Ayrton Senna that was a very religious person before and after every race. God bless!

I am currently 19 soon to be 20 ,ever since 2021 I wanted to do welding and I was always top 3 and I always found it fun to do welding but this year (2024) I missed out on the opportunity to go to College because of Deadlines and Lack Of Transport then I had another opportunity at a Welding Internship for the best Welding Company on the Country ,but turned it down becoz I was under the Impression I did not meet the Requirements and I felt soo Devastated and regretted it but I prayed to God he took my regret away and right now I am waiting for a Asphalt Construction Internship program which I pray I get but Welding has been a Long term goal of mine soo this Video really is a Wake up call for me to do more research and Ask Around soo Thank you very much for making a video like this 🙏🏼✝️❤️ God bless you

Just had leg amputation and still in therapy waiting to get prosthetic. Definitely need to find new direction of what to do for work. Going to remain in prayer and study of God's word and need to start fasting. Very uncertain of future life here on earth and waiting for direction from the Holy Spirit.

Out of curiosity, what happened?
@@ThetreeDraggon Bone condition made my ankle basically disintegrate and after dealing with it for about 1.5 years it got infected and started spreading infection up tibia and fibia so the had to take it about halfway between knee and ankle. In the long run I should have less pain and more mobility. But as a truck driver before I'll have to see what I'm able to do and most likely different career field.

I had a similar path to finding my current career. I got an expensive college degree and pursued first being an Air Force officer and then an air traffic controller, despite both being very poor matches for my personality. After then working in an extremely boring office job for a few years (but what ended up being a perfect job for the pandemic), I finally decided to pursue the dream I had since I was eight- to be a truck driver, and have never been happier in my job. I still struggle with the feeling that I wasted 10 years of my life, especially since I still have a balance on my student loans, and still struggle with explaining to people why I walked away from a potentially lucrative career path.

This video could not come at a better time for me. I’m battling the thoughts of either being a pilot and chasing my childhood dream or becoming a nurse practitioner and helping people
I was just doing research on science and art careers i wanted to pursue in the future. I was overwhelmed by the choices and their salary ranges thinking it wouldn't be enough. Most of my family work in the medical field (doctor, pharmacist, nurse, etc) which make good money, but I personally wasn't interested. It made me feel guilty thinking i wouldn't be successful or make them proud but, this video popped up on my recommendations. I remember asking God to help me make the right choice when it comes to my future career and you posted. The Lord is good and even if He is silent, He is always working 😭❤

Recently I signed up for a trade school for IT. I also recently renewed my faith. And it was like god was showing me who i really was. Technology has always been a passion of mine. But i have bigger aspirations than being a simple coder. I want to help the world. Maybe my time in IT might be the first step god took me on to help the world. I was forced into a career I didn't want for many years and I lacked so much knowledge of God's word for that period of time. It's not that I wanted money for myself but I had to pay rent because living with family.
If I had the knowledge I do now, I would of had a better career now. I just didn't have a good up bringing and my family is horrible with money, I mean I'm at the age where I should already have my own family. The people I live with right now hate God so much and don't want to hear the truth.
How many times can a person be broken? What drive a person to want to follow God? The kind of person who know they sinned against a Holy God.

Same...I'm so conflicted but at the same time I KNOW that its what I want to do...I write, I sing and I'm so confident in the quality of what I do but all the things I hear about the industry makes me scared and I would feel absolutely terrible if its not my calling coz I've never REALLY wanted to do anything else.

I have been uncertain about my career path for years, and I have been in a job that I would like to move on from for well over a year. This advice will help me a lot!
woah, you seem like an angel. Im actually having trouble thinking about my career choices. And feeling stuck. This video gives me a big chunk of advice from the Lord.
In relation to tip no. 5, I started speaking with Paul Allen. I look to have a career in Sports Journalism and I want to know how to navigate it with faith. Paul is the radio play by play announcer for the Minnesota Vikings and he is also a Christian. At the same time I’m praying to God to know if this is really the career for me. I do believe that I have gotten signs that it is but it’s a long process.
I pray God will help me get away from this deli job that I work at. It's a good job that helps keep me busy but I feel it has drawn me further away from my Father in heaven. I pray He'll help me find a job that brings meaning to my life, that draws me so close to Him that it brightens those that I work for. I pray God helps me be a good teacher and a good caregiver, I pray this job also allows me to be close to my family and have time to be with them and teach them in the ways of the Lord. Amen.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been trying to figure out what I need to do in order to pursue a good and Godly path in life. I'm wanting to have a husband and children, to raise them Catholic. But I'm still praying in case God wishes for me to be something else, like a nun. Although I need to go to some retreats in order to know if that's what I truly want, I still have a deep desire to be a housewife. I'm 25, and I've not dated before, so I'm nervous... And I've told my family that I've decided to be a nun for 3 years! So, they're shocked. Just like you, Impact. ._.
Now... My idea for a future for myself is changing, and I think I'm gonna need to pray a lot... Please pray for me, you guys. ;_;

Great video. My niece, for as long as I can remember, always wanted to be what she called a baby nurse. Starting at around 3 years old or so. That was her goal. To work in a hospital in the nursery. Fast forward to her junior or senior year in high school. She was able to intern at the hospital in the NICU. While she absolutely LOVED doing everything she possibly could there, she realized it was no longer going to be her goal. She still loves kids. She runs the daycare at the local YMCA, and is in her 3rd year of college to now become a teacher. She realized she definitely wants to take care of babies and children, but her passion now lies in teaching. She has always worked with children growing up. Starting at the nursery in church. She started helping there at around 12 and was paid to work the nursery when she got older, and so she learned she was not wrong in her passion for caring for babies and children. She was just wrong about the career. All this to say your advice about interning, or volunteering at the job you are passionate about, is always a good idea.. While you may find it is not the exact job for you, as you always thought it would be, it was necessary to find your true path. God knows what He's doing, even if we don't.

Your videos are right on time. I'm thankful for your ministry. | My church and others around me have mentioned my speaking ability. I read scripture and give inspiration testimonies at church and it seems ive been raised from the beginning for public speech IE. performing poetry at family reunions and speaking at funerals. I struggle with taking those first steps. I hope to one day do proper online ministry to reach those I had been with before my rebirth. This channel has helped me Alot.
