Ecclesiastes may seem like the most depressing book in the Bible to most. But to me it’s the most SOBERING book in the Bible. It keeps me from being obsessed with the world and the things it offers, and to rather desire the things that will never pass away; God and His words.
Amen. I couldn't explain that any better. It brings to light how empty and meaningless life can be when we do NOT focus on God. It's sobering and a great reminder to Love Not The World.

1st read of Ecclesiastes: Depression. The realization that life on earth is nothing more than a death sentence for rebelling against the creator of the universe. 2nd read of Ecclesiastes: Relief. The realization that life on earth is meaningless. There is nothing to worry about, because it all ends the same way. 3rd read of Ecclesiastes: Joy. The realization that our work on earth doesn't actually matter, so we might as well enjoy what we can while we are here.
Works of the law, old Covenant, is not our salvation but works of charity as in Imitation of Christ, the new Covenant!! Joy indeed. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner. ☧
This video made me realize how beautiful some of the books in the Bible are. Sometimes I just read and never really take in what is said. Thank you for this I now realize how powerful Ecclesiasties actually is.

Totally agree. This book is underrated! Reading it helps me to avoid traps in my thinking. Yeah, this world is screwed up and ultimately we just live, die and are forgotten about. It does sound nihilistic at first, and without the eternal life we have been given in Christ it could be depressing. But to me, understanding this message frees me to just try to love God and enjoy the simple things in life, because really, that’s what we have to enjoy!
By far, Ecclesiastes has always been my favorite book of the bible. It's a paradox; it knows it contradicts itself and at first glance, one would wonder why something so pessimistic is in the bible. But like one of its main themes, nothing matters. We all die, one way or another. We grow old. Sitting in a bus earlier today, thinking over all the problems I'm facing, and then I see an elderly woman on the bus. It hit me that whatever problems she faced when she was my age, 22, probably don't affect her as much now that her hair's all white and her skin's wrinkled. While I don't know her, and I'm not judging her, her presence reminded me that we often get so stuck in our minds, our hearts, our circumstances, that in reality, it doesn't matter. So why is it in the bible? Because while it does say nothing matters, nothing is ever new, anything new becomes old, Ecclesiastes chooses to hope. In the face of reality, of the facts, Ecclesiastes chose God. Who goes beyond anything and everything.
I love Ecclesiastes! He sounds pessimistic but he gives good wisdom! What I recieved my second time is that: Live well! Eat well! We will die anyway, so enjoys the day that God gives us. And Fear God & keeps his commandment for this is the whole duty of man. Amen 🙏🏾 And you described it so well!! Thank you!! God bless you!! Let's live a life knowing that Jesus overcame death at the cross
A really helpful way of understanding Ecclesiastes is the contrast between “gain and gift”. When the Teacher sees life as gain he only finds meaninglessness. As he despairs “What do I gain from the work of my hands?” But when he pivots and sees things as “gift” everything changes. So he finds comfort in food and drink and sleep as “Gifts from God”. This contrast has helped me when I think about wealth and possessions and trying to be content. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
One thing that helped me in reading the book of Ecclesiastes is understanding that everything is meaningless does not mean that everything is pointless. There’s a huge difference between the two which can help clear up what the teacher is saying. Amen ❤️
I love Ecclesiastes. Read this book then read JOB. they parallel each other a lot. Both coming to the same conclusions. We are only men and we cannot know the mind of GOD so just trust him. Do your best to follow his commandments and just have faith that HE will take care of you. The faith of a child
Read Proverbs first then Ecclesiastes. Proverbs teaches you wisdom then Ecclesiastes tells you wisdom is meaningless 😂 but this was a great video. I will definitely read JOB afterwards.
@@rechargeyoursoul5257 Ecclesiastes teaches us that WISDOM, like all things, without GOD is meaningless. That's the message of the whole book. We cannot be wise enough or rich enough or generous enough or good enough on our own. We will always be lacking without GOD.
I’m a Christian and I’m having a rough patch in my faith, can you explain to me why we need to “trust God” just because at times it’s hard to understand his mind and actions? I hope I got what I’m trying to say clear lol. I’d like to see some of your insight and get this question cleared up for me, thanks in advance 🙏
Orlando, I have much appreciation for your honest videos. At 60 years old, you are reminding me of things I learned long ago but have lost in the chaos of life. Blessings to you.
I think sometimes the most powerful thing is to be told the very thing that our soul already knows but can’t put into words or can’t explain. We are often told that life is good, enjoy it. But yet there are many things that happen in life that are incredibly disappointing, evil, unjust, and tragic. But if we are told that life is good without being able to acknowledge that there is a whole lot of bad, it can drive us crazy. Ecclesiastes gives it to us straight, no chaser. No qualification. Life is hard and then you die. But God gives us things to enjoy while we are here but in the end, those things are meaningless. In the end, God’s commandments are the only meaningful thing. Our hope is in the kingdom to come where all things are restored and justice goes forth and righteousness fills the earth. For now, we labor and toil. Just being able to hear that message and acknowledge how undesirable this world is can be incredibly helpful.
Not sure if anyone else has suggested this but you should check out the story of Habakkuk. I encountered similar frustrations and after praying, God showed me his story and it brought me inexplicable peace! Keep praying, keep trusting, stay joyful! God bless 🙏🏾
This video came up on my home page months ago. At the time, i was instantly drawn to it like i was meant to see it. However, instead of watching the video, i just liked it and decided to read the book first. I had never read a book in the bible before. It took me months to finish 12 chapters. Every time i started, i had an eye-opening experience, and then i just stopped for whatever reason. But looking back now, i realised each time i was drawn back to reading it was when i needed to hear the words the most after living experience. I like to believe God works in mysterious ways like that for "man cannot know God's ways" After reading the entire book, i finally came back and watched the entire video. All i have to say is Thank You
What a powerful timely word of God. In these perilous time many need to be reminded that God sits on the throne: all knowing, seeing, and able to meet our needs..We MUST keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ for He’s a just God! Thanks again for being real.
You've fully convinced me that Ecclesiastes is one of the coolest books in the OT. Honestly though, what you have said has given me perspective on uncertainty, purpose and existence. Bless you brother
Just wanted to give you a shoutout. I appreciate your testimony brother. At the end of the video was beautiful. “I don’t think I could enjoy a cup of orange juice as much as I do without this book” what a humble statement. Hallelujah, praise be to the most high.
A few months back, I began going back to church and taking my walk of faith more seriously than I ever had. Ecclesiastes was the first book I read in the Bible at random and it resonated with me completely. At face value, a lot of Ecclesiastes comes off as cynical and nearly morbid, but that’s the point. A lot of life is made up of distractions and the millions different things we can do as God gave us free will but we must understand that true fulfillment only comes from God. We can learn, see and do as much as we want but ultimately, all things lead to God. The proclamation at the start of of Ecclesiastes 1 “Vanity of vanities. All is vanity,” is meant to be as harsh as it sounds but one should not go all doom-and-gloom about it. Life is beautiful, absurd, unjust and incredible and at the end of every path is God. And I liked your orange juice comment at the end, Orlando. I feel the same about what before were rather mundane things. Knowing God is behind every little thing is a great feeling.
Dude, it was so wholesome when you were concluding about enjoying life and you said, “like when I drink orange juice…” Amen 😂 Orange juice is delicious. I have had your video saved to watch later for months now and finally decided to watch it today. Thank you for sharing this. God is sovereign over it all! And He is GOOD. I appreciate you sharing that you’ve had thoughts about “if I was God…” because I’ve had those thoughts too, and recently have had conversations with friends who don’t have faith who currently are having those thoughts. In the end the only answer to that is: were you there when God made the foundation of the earth? Only God is God, and He is sovereign and has revealed Himself to us. Hallelujah. Thanks for sharing, excited to watch more of your stuff.
In Bible college we were given assignment on Ecclesiastes. We labour a week on this book but also could not come up with the clarity which person in video did. It really made much sense now than.
I am so shocked cuz I was literally so angry at God and was argueing with him abt his fairness then this came. This is my sign to read Ecclesiastic. Be blessed❤
Honestly, this video just randomly showed up in my feed and I have to say thank you for making this video and pointing all this out, especially talking about the anger you feel at injustice, because it's *exactly* how I feel and it's becoming unbearable. I will definitely look into Ecclesiastes more deeply after this video. Seriously, thank you.
I read Ecleciastes when I was in my last years of uni, a stressful time in my life. So reading about how everything was vanity and everything will pass gave me such a peace. I didn’t have to worry because studying too much was not good and knowledge will pass. I felt like God understood what I was feeling even before I was born 🍃
Another version says, Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” I learnt life’s purpose in this book. It put my mind at ease and helped me to stop chasing after the world. It’s my favourite book indeed!!
Ecclesiastes was written by Solomon (1:12 gives us a clue). It advises there are limits of wisdom and knowledge. We make the common mistake of reading the wisdom books like law. Wisdom is the result of something...not something you do. It is the result of repentance and faith in Christ (in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge - Colossians 2:3. Bless you brother.
Man, this was spot-on! The solace and love I have received from this book in really hard times has been remarkable. I'm glad for you that you have found this out as well.
I cant believe it that I come across this video at this point of time when I am feeling great injustice and is in a dilema on what to do tomorrow. Thank you so much for sharing. I will let it go and stop thinking about it. I can't change things but GOD is watching all the time. Justice will prevail eventually!
Thank you man for this. It reminds me of Jeff Allen's testimony - he was an atheist who converted to Christianity from listening to teachings on Ecclesiastes.
Your words have made me reconsider the meaning of this book and the lessons it teaches. Thank you for posting this I needed this. I'm going to read it again but this time I will allow God to speak through it.
Life is unfair BUT we're so Lucky to have God to pick us up EVERY TIME 🙏🏼 When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Ecclesiastes 7:14 NIV Seek Him.. Amen
Ecclesiastes really answered all my questions about what’s important & the most important things in life. It’s a very beautiful book of the Bible & one of my favorites as it is written as poetry.
Ecclesiastes is also my favorite book of the Bible! it came in clutch with answering my questions on why I exist and was instrumental in my turning to Christ. Nice video btw. New subscriber!
Loved your thoughts on this book, thank you. I'd like to add some things that can help interpretation: 1. What is translated as "meaningless" is really a word-picture of smoke evaporating. Hebrew: Hevel. So you can swap in something like "vaporous" for meaningless. 2. "under the sun" - the teacher is focussing on life in this realm for the whole book. SO much good stuff in this book. The last thing that really spoke to me was how the teacher says that our ability to enjoy what we have and our work is also a gift from God. Like vapour, the more we grasp the quicker it vanishes!
Orlando, thank you for sharing this, I had a similar experience in my Christian walk when I was in my early 20s, I was lost and losing my faith and then I heard a sermon about Ecclesiates 11:4 He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap. It gave me more hope because it reminded me that I wasn't under control. I read the entire book after that and wow, still for me one of the most profound, sobering and hopeful literature you'll ever read. Thanks Brother and God Bless.
The most nihilistic and hopeless books in the Bible are actually my favorite. They’re often called the wisdom books, and for good reason (Job, Ecclesiastes, and Psalms). It’s easy to praise God when your optimistic or consulted, but not in desolation. These books tackle that and offer guidance.
yes !!! it’s pretty much the same for me. this book in scripture has really had an impact on how I see life in general. it gave/gives me so much hope as well as understanding of most of life’s troubles too. this is one of my favourite books out of them all.
I read Ecclesiastes in a period of my life were I was with a lot of questions about everything. I remember that pessimism was with me in every thought and question. It was a lot about life, God, me, my family, my future. And when I read it, it was the Lord telling me in my ear: It's okay to have questions. I believe that times of reflection must be lived with God to obtain fruit from them. If someone is struggling with time remember this: That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away (Chapter 3 verse 15). Don't forget that God identifies himself as "I Am Who I Am" so HE IS. (John 17:5, Colossians 1:17, 2 Peter 3:8)
Ecclesiastes is for real the most depressing book in the Bible but also my favorite after Colossians. It is so deep and depressing it just kind of wakes you up.
Thanks, Orlando. God is using you to encourage us to stay the course and develop tunnel vision on our Creator, even when it seems there is NO justice in this world. We're one day closer to heaven!
I had the same journey. Street dude -> Philosophy -> inspiration and self-resiliency -> Christianity. It was Proverbs and Ecclesiastes give me guidance and perspective in many ways. It was journey from age 14-18. We can find it through our lens but through God we can!
Wow. I always say this is the book that made me want to keep living. So wild that we both experienced that. So glad God led us to this book right when we needed. Thanks for posting!
Man Ecclesiastes is so powerful. One night I had a dream and that book came up in my head. I immediately went to the Bible and read the entire book. A book I never even read from being a “half and half Christian” for so long. It really spoke to me. The very opening alone “meaningless meaningless”.
This is exactly what I felt three weeks ago, the senselessness of it all. I’m at a crossroads in my life where I have to choose a new course for my life because the one I was previously on did not only fail, but failed spectacularly. It was the path I took because I believed it was the one that would be the most virtuous where I could serve people but also exhaust all that I have for good but it ended up horribly and I feel like a worse person than before. Now I don’t know what to do with my life, I see left and right people getting what they want without asking, without trying. People who have been selfish, people who have no care in the world, people who are too good to try, people who hate other for no good reason, people who live for intrigue at the cost of others who don’t understand their games. And I feel like the fool who can never win. My high ideals, my hopes and values feel like a sham to be laughed at and ridiculed by those who don’t know any better and those who play stupid power plays. I listened to a video about meaninglessness of life and it talked about Ecclesiastes, when I read it, it was like the spirit breathe into me because for the first time it was true, what was said to me was not some generic motivational word salad or detached call to hold onto hope, it was just real life spoken through words from ancient times. It wasn’t gaslighting me into being okay with today and what’s to come. It affirmed what I had always felt but was externally denied in the world. That alone gave me a ton of relief. I got to sleep peacefully that night, early morning I had coffee with my Dad and I told him about that book and we got some peace, just looking around at nature and praising God for making it so beautiful. I did my mundane works with a lit of peace that day.
I love your transparency in sharing your experience. Definitely not trying to gaslight you into believing that from this point on your life will be rainbows & skittles, thats unrealistic, a lie and you sound too smart for that. But I do have something I'd like to leave with you. One of the ways that God uses me is to encourage people and share with them whats on his heart and mind concerning them. One of the places he has me do that most is on UA-cam by responding to comments. I am going to tell you the truth. I was on my way to bed and about to turn UA-cam off when this video popped up. I have never heard of this UA-camr and this is my first time watching a video. Even after watching the video, again I was about to go to bed but felt strongly in my heart to read a few comments first. I said all that to say that God is very intentional about everything he does and executing his plans. Part of his plan may be allowing you to be where you are in this season of your life so that he can now get you to where he wants you to be in life. I dont know that but if you seek him he will let you know. That brings me to what I want to encourage you with. I dont know your full situation but God does. Just as he brought you to the book Ecclesiastes he brought me to this video because he knew you would comment. I have two verses for you if you ever get time to read them. First, Jeremiah 29:11. In that verse God told Jeremiah he had a plan for his life and a future. Just the same as he told Jeremiah that I feel he wants me to tell you that he has the same for you. The other verse is Isaiah 64:8. In this verse Isaiah tells us that God is the potter and his people are the clay. Whenever God creates anything he has a plan & purpose for it. This is a good time in your life to aknowledge him as potter and allow him to show you ( his clay) what he wants you to do next. Trust me it beats the senselessness of wandering around making mistakes and losing time trying to figure it out. Even if you dont know or understand how to hear him or have him guide you just call out to him and ask him to direct your life onto the path he wants it to go and you will see begin to see a path that stands out above the others. Jeremiah 33:3.
Thank you for making this video and sharing your story, Orlando. I’ve been praying for God to speak to me about his plan in my life, especially off of some deep sadness, and he sent me your video. Humbling myself & trusting God will make a way in the midst of what I have labeled as unfairness/injustice, has been one of the hardest things for me to do. But I’m very grateful for Him revealing we can rest in His promise. Thank you again & praying you’ll continue to be lead by His glory and faithfulness 🙏🏻
Thanks Orlando! My favorite verse is Ecclesiastes 9:10, which states "Whatever your hands finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." Reminds me to work hard in everything I do as I believe that trusting the Lord requires self-action and being humble in anything you persue. Similarly like the Parable of the Lost Coin from Luke 15:8-10. Time to take action. No complaints as God created everything so beautiful in His time. And why not live your life to the fullest when you do not even know when your time is up. Trust in the Lord.
Thank you for helping me helping me understand Ecclesiastes better, because I thought it was just explaining how life is meaningless and there’s nothing that you haven’t done that’s been already done, but thank you for showing me how beautiful Ecclesiastes is, my favorite verse in Ecclesiastes is 3:1-11 a time for everything my dad introduced me to that one. God bless you my brother in Christ 🙏🏾💕
Great video and I appreciate your insight. Your take on God wanting us to enjoy our lives and to eat, drink, and be merry is true, but it reminds me of Luke 12: 16-21. Let's not forget that God has a purpose for us and we are called to use what He has blessed us with to help others. I hope and pray God will give you His wisdom and you will bless those around you, and those who watch your videos.
Ecclesiastes is a phenomenal book, a goldmine of practical spiritual truths. Unlike some light versions of the Gospel by some modern preachers, the preacher of Ecclesiastes shows human beings and life under the sun as it is, without hiding disappointments, injustices, illusions, etc., even for us believers. And it also brilliantly shows how God can help us lift our eyes to the heavens, looking to Jesus, and live all kinds of moments in life with the perspective and purpose of eternity and what a change this produces in us! I'm writing a practical commentary on the book and it surprises me every day I study. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for sharing this life-giving realisation. This reminds me of Jeremiah 33:3, which says, “Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know”. ✨
Was hoping that that struck someone else as deeply as it did me. I was scrolling the comments to see if it did before I commented myself. It's in those simple things that we feel God's gifts when we are closest to him.
The message of enjoying what God put here for us to enjoy was huge for me. A lot of Christian messaging is about not “wasting” your life by frittering away time on leisure. However, God does mean for us to have rest and enjoyment. Christian service to others doesn’t mean saying yes to everything and working yourself to the bone. Ecclesiastes has a balance to it that is really beautiful.
Amen!! After reading Ecclesiastes, my view regarding “ministry” or “working for the Lord” changed. Now I am lessed pressured and I just accept God’s love and grace. Now when I serve or worship God, its not out of pressure or guilt anymore.
I got this like gradual philosophical revelation in the span of 2023-2024, I have never read Ecclesiastes before, and watching this feels like the perfect summary of what I have been figuring out. I feel so good knowing I can now relate to someone philosophically.
Every transition period in my life I find solace in Ecclesiastes. Moving to a new place or a new job, just remembering to humble myself and give thanks that He is Emmanuel and he is with me!!
Love it brotha. My favorite passage of all time, for as long as I can remember, is Ecclesiastes 3:11. Ecclesiastes very well may be my favorite book in the bible. Incredibly insightful.

When you mentioned how God knew we would feel this way and put Ecclesiastes in the Bible for that reason, I never thought about it that way
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8 NKJV)
Ecclesiastes was exciting for me, actually. It made me realize that being a Christian doesn't mean I have to stop having fun and living life
As long as you obey God you can live it up
Totally agree.
Who told you that "We all die"? Who told you that "We grow old"?
I love Ecclesiastes! He sounds pessimistic but he gives good wisdom! What I recieved my second time is that:
Live well! Eat well! We will die anyway, so enjoys the day that God gives us.
And Fear God & keeps his commandment for this is the whole duty of man. Amen 🙏🏾
And you described it so well!! Thank you!! God bless you!!
Let's live a life knowing that Jesus overcame death at the cross
A really helpful way of understanding Ecclesiastes is the contrast between “gain and gift”.
When the Teacher sees life as gain he only finds meaninglessness. As he despairs “What do I gain from the work of my hands?”
But when he pivots and sees things as “gift” everything changes. So he finds comfort in food and drink and sleep as “Gifts from God”.
This contrast has helped me when I think about wealth and possessions and trying to be content.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Life is based on time and chance but with God you stand a better chance.
God is the Beginning and the Ending. Nothing is by chance! God knows everything that will happen in our lives. Nothing is a surprise to God.
@@tp1201 Yes, there appears to be free will but only to man, not God.
Always ❤
One thing that helped me in reading the book of Ecclesiastes is understanding that everything is meaningless does not mean that everything is pointless. There’s a huge difference between the two which can help clear up what the teacher is saying. Amen ❤️
Good point! 😉💟
I love Ecclesiastes. Read this book then read JOB. they parallel each other a lot. Both coming to the same conclusions. We are only men and we cannot know the mind of GOD so just trust him. Do your best to follow his commandments and just have faith that HE will take care of you. The faith of a child
Ignorance is Bliss I guess
Read Proverbs first then Ecclesiastes. Proverbs teaches you wisdom then Ecclesiastes tells you wisdom is meaningless 😂 but this was a great video. I will definitely read JOB afterwards.
@@rechargeyoursoul5257 Ecclesiastes teaches us that WISDOM, like all things, without GOD is meaningless. That's the message of the whole book. We cannot be wise enough or rich enough or generous enough or good enough on our own. We will always be lacking without GOD.
@@ronviejo4994👍 🙏

@@thenarrowpath_ally thank you 🙏
Not sure if anyone else has suggested this but you should check out the story of Habakkuk. I encountered similar frustrations and after praying, God showed me his story and it brought me inexplicable peace!
Keep praying, keep trusting, stay joyful! God bless 🙏🏾
Ecclesiastes always made me think how much people need to be told about Jesus. I’ll keep these things you said in mind next time I end up there.
Exceptionally spoken my brother. Exceptionally spoken indeed.
YAY!! Ecclesiastes is my THERAPY. I adore this book... it genuinely brings me to a place of such deep comfort and quiet in Messiah.
I like to believe God works in mysterious ways like that for "man cannot know God's ways"
After reading the entire book, i finally came back and watched the entire video.
God bless you and everyone, help us God to rely on you, Amen
I am so shocked cuz I was literally so angry at God and was argueing with him abt his fairness then this came. This is my sign to read Ecclesiastic. Be blessed❤
Ecclesiastes is an incredible book. Truly the guide to help enter the fear of the Lord if you want to live this life. Ecc 12:13
The Father gave me a revelation of peace and calling back to relationship with your message. Grace and peace to you bro
One of my absolute favorite books in the Bible...It's so liberating
I read Ecleciastes when I was in my last years of uni, a stressful time in my life. So reading about how everything was vanity and everything will pass gave me such a peace. I didn’t have to worry because studying too much was not good and knowledge will pass. I felt like God understood what I was feeling even before I was born 🍃
Wow I’m in my last year of uni and the book has helped me too.
Another version says, Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher;
“Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”
I learnt life’s purpose in this book. It put my mind at ease and helped me to stop chasing after the world. It’s my favourite book indeed!!
Well said there brother! We are because He is.
Ecclesiastes is also my favorite book of the Bible. It sounds so depressing but actually gives me so much hope
It's so freeing and liberating...Perfect book for a materialistic society like we live in today
Wow!!
Your words have made me reconsider the meaning of this book and the lessons it teaches. Thank you for posting this I needed this. I'm going to read it again but this time I will allow God to speak through it.
Time ,death ,and randomness "man in his very best state, is altogether vanity"
Really appreciate the time you’ve taken on this video 🙏🏽
Life is unfair BUT we're so Lucky to have God to pick us up EVERY TIME 🙏🏼
When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 NIV
Seek Him..
Amen
My favorite book of the bible is psalms. It got me through dark times. Im still going through dark times but i still have hope.
Such a powerful voice!
Beautifully said bro
How interesting as I’m currently going through the book of Ecclesiastes.
Same!
Me too I was like what no way!! When I saw the title
ohh my.... just started reading the book of Ecclesiastes!!!!!... what timing... !! n the verses... vanity of vanity
Me too just started today!
Loved your thoughts on this book, thank you. I'd like to add some things that can help interpretation:
Wow, this is awesome. God Bless you brother.
Thank you, little brother. Your words were well worth sharing with others. God bless you.
Orlando, thank you for sharing this, I had a similar experience in my Christian walk when I was in my early 20s, I was lost and losing my faith and then I heard a sermon about Ecclesiates 11:4 He who observes the wind will not sow,
And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
Amen Praise God Thank You Jesus Bless You Holy Spirit. In agreement with you brother. God bless you and your loved ones in Jesus Mighty Name.
yes !!!
it’s pretty much the same for me. this book in scripture has really had an impact on how I see life in general.
it gave/gives me so much hope as well as understanding of most of life’s troubles too.
this is one of my favourite books out of them all.
Please share with other boys
And we find that joy and satisfaction in Jesus. thanks man, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Job are just wonderful
Amen brother!
Fear God, keep his commandments. Eat, drink, and be merry! ❤️🔥💪🏻💯✝️
I enjoy the chill and realness you bring! May the Lord bless your biblical understanding and help you to help others.
I appreciate that, it means a lot
It would be such a blessing to have this young man as friend!! He has so much wisdom. God bless you brother in Christ💛
Thanks for sharing this! Praying for God to continue revealing His love for you and His plans for you! 🙏🏻 He loves you so much!!
@@xuwuz thank you!
Great video! Keep uploading and sharing your wisdom.
Ecclesiastes has always been my favorite. As a teenager I was so touched that there was something in the Bible that I could identify with.
Video was a bangerrr, keep them coming!!
Great video and I appreciate your insight. Your take on God wanting us to enjoy our lives and to eat, drink, and be merry is true, but it reminds me of Luke 12: 16-21. Let's not forget that God has a purpose for us and we are called to use what He has blessed us with to help others. I hope and pray God will give you His wisdom and you will bless those around you, and those who watch your videos.
great video thanks for sharing
The orange juice example 😭😭 love this, thank you for putting this out
Was hoping that that struck someone else as deeply as it did me.
Your interpretation of the Book of Ecclesiastes is genuine and insightful. Thank you so much for sharing.
Just finished reading Ecclesiastes randomly last week and wow this changes my perspective on the book a lot. Thanks for shedding light and sharing this!
Even before I gave my life to Jesus ,book of ecclesiastes kept me hooked . I think my search for something true ignited through the verses that talks about vanity.
Currently reading it again & ooh man🙌🏻 the depth of wisdom it has is so unbelievable, like as you go through life 's ups and downs it makes alot more sense and relatable.
Definitely one of my very favorites. Very humbling and it reminds me to trust in faith.
Wow! I was reading Ecclesiastes last week and I was so blessed with those words and now this video appeared to me and it’s amazing. Thank you for this reminder that we can trust God because even when life doesn’t feel right, He is always right. God bless you🙏🏻
