During World War II, ABDACOM (American-British-Dutch-Australian Command) was a short-lived military alliance formed in early 1942 to coordinate the defense of Southeast Asia against the advancing Japanese forces. It comprised military forces from the United States, Britain, the Netherlands, and Australia.
However, due to various challenges such as limited resources, communication difficulties, and the overwhelming strength of the Japanese forces, ABDACOM faced significant setbacks. The alliance was unable to effectively coordinate its efforts, and its member nations suffered major defeats, this provides an opportunity to rewrite the course of history and reverse the tides of adversity.
The Mod incorporates a number of new ships and a new map with two campaigns of the Dutch East Indies:
Allied Campaign - The ABDACOM Defensive.
Japanese Campaign - Centrifugal Offensive. - Ігри

The allied airforce fighting incoming airplanes should be what every battle looks like. It’s the biggest issue with this game, is how rarely the AI spawns CAP to defend its ships.

Captian Hara's Shigure was famous for always coming out of the action without a scratch. He wrote a book, and a large portion of it is his version of events from the bridge of Shigure in several engagements. There are some AI voiced audiobooks here on youtube that are a chapter long, i listen to them at work. The book is called 'Japanese Destroyer Captain.' and i highly recommend it.
Hara would have been in command of the Amatsukaze at this point though. Indeed, he did fight at the Battle of the Java Sea. Fantastic book

The reason the B5Ns were climbing was because whenever a landmass, each flight tries to stay at the altitude you request ABOVE the altitude of the land. They kept climbing above their effective altitude for dropping torps.
I must say that this was the best episode of the series so far. It had air attacks, battleships engaging enemy ships and an actual air engagement that made an attack on the enemy fleet not a one-sided massacre for once! More like this, please!
You should know from Drack's videos... HMS Warspite won't go down to just Fuso, and less than half the combined German, Italian, and Japanese air-fleet of planes. She's a legend. The game made her vanish to maintain the "Chuck Norris" of HMS battleship's plot armor.

That air raid on Warspite was pure cinematography, planes coming from everywhere.
That air battle with everything going on was the best single moment in any video of yours I’ve seen, shortly followed by getting to see a battleship actually landing hits and sinking ships. Great work! Loved this one!

Great vid! This game is like watching a WW2 movie / Pacific war documentary! My only gripe is with the various gun sounds. They are a little weak. I wonder if this game has mods.
I refuse to believe that three-stacker heavy cruiser in the last battle was anything other than HMAS Canberra. She may have gone done but god dammit she went down a bastard. Took two DDs with her and gave a dreadnought a bloody nose.

Only 5 command points for an aircraft carrier is pretty outrageous. You should at least get something even approaching half the cost for deploying a carrier of your own.
I saw in the last episode german ships. Is there a german campaign for the mod?

Is that mod adjusting the number of aircraft available? I cannot get as many aircraft in the active combat zone and it is making me want to make a table flip. Especially if I see the Yamato coming in for a kill on my carrier group.
Are the British carrier's armoured flight decks modelled in this game?
If they had put the aircraft carrier with the battleship things might have turned out differently
Vals shouldn’t scratch a British carrier due to they have armoured decks.

The IJN Fuso was launched in 1914, armed with just 14" main guns... very bad purchase
The other option is the Kongo, less armored, 2 less 14 inch turrets, but its 5 knots faster. Against lets say the Warspite the Fuso stands more chanche. But for these endgame engagements i would prefer the Kongo simply bc its faster and more flexible. And big middle finger to the british bc they built the Kongo

It messes with aim, when your warspite you can tank shells so better to keep a straight course.
The ai does infact try to dodge, albeit its not very good at it.
Shigure not a lucky ship this war.
