Sugar Cookies Without Butter Recipe

Want to make delicious sugar cookies, but don't have any butter, or perhaps don't want to use butter? I've got you covered.

Ingredients
2 cups and 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup coconut oil
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt in a medium-sized bowl.
In a larger bowl, use a wooden spoon or mixer to cream the oil and sugar.
Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until dough forms. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky or thin.
.Chill dough for 30 minutes
Preheat oven to 350 F
Roll dough into 1.5 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet, flatten with your hand or a pint glass to create a flat circle.

My first batch was a bit greasy but GOOD.. the second batch I used 2 tablespoons less and they were perfect. Thanks I'm definitely adding this recipe to my bakers playlist.

If your using an air fryer I recommend 360 at 8 to 16 mins

no.. maybe u should’ve cool them more, like a hour. Or if they just came out the oven they just needed to cool down.
