Oatmeal Cookies Without Brown Sugar Recipe
Wanting to make some delicious oatmeal cookies, but just realized you don't have any brown sugar? Don't worry, this recipe makes absolutely mouth-watering oatmeal cookies, and no brown sugar is required.

Ingredients
1½ cups all-purpose flour
3 cups old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup white sugar
1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
½ cup shortening, at room temperature
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mix-ins of choice: raisins, chocolate chips, walnuts, coconut, etc.
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Mix the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium mixing bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, beat sugar, butter, and shortening until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, blending thoroughly between additions.
4. Add the dry ingredients gradually to the creamed butter mixture until dough forms.
5. Fold the mix-ins into the dough.
6. Use a cookie scooper or your hands to drop rounded balls of dough onto a cookie sheet.
7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Rest for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.

I just made this for Easter. I haven't tried it yet but I used two 8 inch round pans and 35 mins is way too long. I checked it at 25 and they were done. A word of caution. It smells wonderful

i tried it, except altered the recipe a bit and used 2 tbsp of cocoa powder (for half the recipe, the og one is too big for me haha) and they came out sooo good. almost like brownies but less thicker

In the recipe it calls for room temp shortening!! I didn’t do that. Probably why I have uncooked hard balls cookies still at 15 mins
If your using an air fryer I recommend 360 at 8 to 16 mins
