      Sab G the coconut sugar one is actually not better. Both sugars will yield the same insulin response in the system. The coconut water instead of gatorade is a good swap because coco water has electrolytes to replenish you after a workout. It has less sugar and still hydrates. Not to mention a lot more minerals and vitamins than most sports drinks.

      if you eat foods rich in calories during the day and spend those calories you will be fine. if you wait for the late afternoon/evening to eat dinner and make that your biggest meal, you could eat paper during the day and still be fat, because you eat and then you go to bed. that is the main difference between Westerners and nations that are not obese. • @caitporter_24
      @caitporter_24 6 років тому +43

      It is processed unecessary crap. Olive oil is not a whole food-it is a fattening, low-nutrient, processed food, consisting of 100% fat. Get your fats from a more natural source that can actually satiate you (nuts, avocado). Not the best when trying to lose weight. Waste of calories. She is just giving options. Americans are brainwashed into thinking they have to coat veggies in oil to sautee or roast them. News flash, you don't.
      When fats are ingested in the form of extracted oils, they are rapidly and efficiently absorbed by the body and immediately converted into body fat. If these fats were instead ingested from whole foods, such as seeds, nuts and avocado, their absorption would be much slower, over hours, not minutes and these fats would be mostly burned for our energy needs and not stored.

I also drink/eat mainly vegetable juice, slightly boiled veggies, water, green tea, fish and other meat, and most fruits. For dessert I eat homemade ice cream, fruit, and fresh baked cookies. Addicting is not a word, Addictive is the word your looking for! Nice alternatives, the snacks, not the words. But really, these are the kind of snacks that catch me out hen trying to eat healthy, I can eat healthy breakfasts , lunches and dinners, but then it's the fatty sugar loaded snacks that fudge up my healthy eating.

    • @frostycup
      @frostycup 6 років тому +13

      figuring it out Addicting is the present participle of addict, perhaps you should do some research before telling people they’re wrong and you’re right. You sound a bit pretentious.

    • @hbhooooihbbgvv
      @hbhooooihbbgvv 6 років тому +4

      Kara Phillips yes it exists as a word but in the sentence used here she is describing a food (noun) thus the use of the adjective " addictive" should be used to describe the noun. Not being pretentious just like the English language to be used correctly so the next generation can learn to speak it properly. If we all went around ignoring the proper use of the language we wouldn't be able to understand each other, then we wouldn't be able to communicate. Which is the point of language

    • @frostycup
      @frostycup 6 років тому +14

      figuring it out You’re exactly right, the point of language is to communicate, and you clearly understood her intent. The idea that you think you’re going to save the world by correcting people’s grammar is absolutely ridiculous. You continue to be annoying and pretentious.

    • @hbhooooihbbgvv
      @hbhooooihbbgvv 6 років тому +4
